Caldera Power Services is owned and operated by Chris Caldera. We will work as a Sub-Contractor where needed. We require payment for services upon completion of work. Caldera Power Services provides premium electrical contracting services to home owners and small business across Southern California. Our customers enjoy the confidence that their electrical services needs are in the hands of an expert with over three decades of training and the experience of over 13,000 assignments in a variety of electrical disciplines. We pride ourselves on offering our services with strict integrity and complete honesty. While not everything is predictable in our industry (we can never be sure what previous electricians or do-it-yourselfers may have done), we always provide our customer with the most complete information possible. This philosophy forms the foundation of our approach to customer service, and ensures that our clients enjoy the highest standards of customer service. Owner Chris Caldera started his career in electric work as a tactical wire operations specialist in the United States Army, serving in Europe during the Cold War. He took that experience to the private sector where he worked for a company that eventually became Sylvania Lighting. In that role, he handled more than 13,000 assignments as simple as ballast changes for fluorescent systems and as complicated as managing the installation of a $1 million occupancy controls retrofit in a downtown Los Angeles skyscraper. In his 30 years of experience, Chris earned numerous certifications and credentials including: – US Army Military Occupational Specialty 36K, Tactical Wire Operations (Ft. Gordon, GA) – OSHA30 (US Occupational Safety & Health Administration) – EM385 (Department of Defense certification for working on military facilities) – MSHA (Mine Health & Safety Administration for working in mine environments) – Convia Occupancy Controls Systems installation and operation – Lutron Occupancy Controls Systems installation and operation – Sylvania Lighting Process Certification – State of California Contractors License Board License #806512 – American Correspondence School two-year Electrician’s course – California Department of Industrial Relations Electricians License #158684
