Everything went according to schedule.

I am a property manager and my client lives out of town. Irit and Raul were very accommodating to our schedule to meet with the owner, had several ideas and brought samples to our meeting. We were able to make decisions immediately. Work began within a few days and work proceeded on schedule despite the rain! The workers were all very good and professional. The final product came out even better than expected. On time and on budget. I would use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent service from beginning to end! Aquacare's entire staff was amazing. The owners are fantastic with communication - from the work being done and what can be expected during construction. They worked within our extremely small time frame to get the project done - going above and beyond the entire way. They also made suggestions how to improve the spa (which was originally installed by someone else) without being pushy. I'm so happy we replaced the old, cracked mildew-ridden spa cap with something new. It was a great finishing touch on the project and made a huge difference. The pool and spa look brand new. They truly care about the final product and making sure their clients are happy.

The maintenance people know their stuff and I am delighted by their work. They are very trustworthy - I have 100% confidence of their recommendations.

We've been using them for quite a while now and we're very happy with their service and pricing. Because of the age of our swimming pool, I know in the near future we'll need to re-plaster it and I will most likely hire Aqua Care for that as well, based on the professionalism we've experienced thus far with their regular pool maintenance and the ease of working with them.

They do a very consistent and good job. They're up front and reasonable. We have the same person service pool (Joe) and he really delivers great care and high quality service. They always relay information even if we're not home. Highly recommend them.

We have been working with Aqua Care for a few years and are very happy. When they came our pool was in bad shape, now it is sparkling clean and all our equipment is in good working order. They perform routing maintenance on our pump, and if there is a problem they come out within a few hours and take care of repairs. Communication is always good, and our pool technician does an excellent job.

The work was unsatisfactory. The owner, Raul, refuses to communicate with me. Irit, who is Raul's manager, is the only person who will talk to me. The electrical work that was done was sub-par, to the point where one of my water features had live electrical wires. Out of the 2 fountains, they only finished one, unless I paid them more money. I have tried to reach out to Aqua Care by e-mail which documented everything that was wrong with the service to try and get the matters resolved. Irit e-mailed me requesting for payments or they will sue me. After that, I sent a certified- read receipt to the company regarding my concerns and that I want things resolved, but they refused to sign for the letter.

Although they did not get the job, they were still very nice and helpful. all the best.

In general, the weekly servicing in punctual and adequate, albeit quite expensive given the service rendered. However, on the occasions where we have needed repairs we have found Aqua Care to be totally inadequate in terms of their punctuality, professionalism, and commitment to performing the work in an adequate fashion.

They installed a solar heating system on the roof of our garage for our pool three years ago. Within a year the panels sprung a leak, but was promptly repaired. The panels are warrantied for 15 years. The rest of the system is only warranted for one year, which is a drag because I'm three years in and starting to get pricey failures in motors, sensors, etc. Aqua Care has been helpful in getting the contractor out to make the repairs, but at the end of the day I'm disappointed that I've had three mechanical failures in as many years. The effectiveness of the solar heating is better than I expected or was even told to expect, so that's good.

After interviewing 6-7 pool contractors over a year period, when my husband and I met Aqua Care's Irit and Raul we knew we had finally found the right contractors to build our dream backyard (pool, hardscaping, landscaping, etc.). They not only impressed us with their knowledge, but also eased our concerns about undertaking such a big project. Unlike some of the contractors we met previously, Raul and Irit took the time to listen to our project priorities and budget and made every effort to understand our taste/design goals. While they made design suggestions, they also respected our choices. Throughout the 8-10 week process, Irit and Raul were there to answer all of our questions, guide each design choice, and oversee all work. I?m a very detail-oriented person who typically maintains control, but with Irit, I knew I had found someone who would care just as much as I do and make sure that the project progressed perfectly in my absence (both my husband and I work full time and couldn?t be around the house to supervise). We were so comfortable with them, that we even took a week-long family trip right in the middle of construction! Raul and Irit were that trust-worthy; because it?s their own business, they care deeply about the workmanship and customer satisfaction. And we were VERY happy with our experience with them! They did such a great job that when we realized mid-way that we wanted to replace a long fence that we shared with our neighbors, we immediately looked to Irit and Raul to do the work. Our neighbors ended up being so impressed with them, that they hired Raul to replace their pool equipment! And without any prompting, several neighbors commented to us that they were so pleasantly surprised at how respectful and considerate Irit and Raul?s team was throughout the construction. We would recommend Irit and Raul without reservation and would use them again for other projects in a heartbeat! We now have the dream backyard we hoped for! Thank you, Irit and Raul. Had requested a quote for repairs for my client but unfortunately would not schedule with me because I was an agent and he assumed it was for negotiations purposes only. Therefore, I can not share how their work is (good or bad).

Responsive to questions and special service requests, fair and transparent in billing and services provided. Easy to connect via email or phone.their service folks are courteous, and thorough.

I would recommend them. They are very prompt. They are pretty affordable in terms of competitors. I generally like the people that work for the company.

It went very well, from beginning to end. Very professional, yet friendly and personable. The work went very quickly yet there was complete follow through from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this company for tiling, replastering, or both. They were a pleasure to deal with.

We learned long ago that success or failure of a renovation is the experience and integrity of the contractor you hire to oversee entire project. This company has both. We originally wanted a repiping of older pool and bit by bit ended up with a complete updating of pool and surrounding deck. Irit has remarkable sense of taste and always came up with creative details. Raul has an easygoing but professional approach and reassuring can-do experience. We hired Aqua Care based on the recommendation on Angie's List. It was well-deserved. We would recommend them too.

Called to let us know they are based in Pasadena and thought it would be a disservice to us to take a job so far from their base. I respect their honesty.

We initially selected their company because of the positive comments posted. We were very disappointed they didn't bother to get back to us. Maybe our pool remodel wasn't large enough. We held off making our decision waiting for an estimate from Aqua Care. We have since decided to go forward with one of the other three pool contractors that did bother submit estimates to us.

On the whole they did a good job. I'm happy with the price and I'm happy with the work they did. They were honest and did a good job. My biggest complaint was just how they did the billing, I imagine if it took longer I would have appreciated it. It was going to be like five separate payments but it was paid over the course of five days which was really quick. They gave me a good rate and they did a good job and they were straight up about it. update: 5 years later all of the coping around the top of the pool has broken loose and the grout around the tile is cracking, i asked them to come and look it which they did but then they quickly explained that there was an extra step that needed to be done in the plaster and suggested that i opted to neglect that step to save money and that's the reason that it's now coming apart, i am confident that the option was not presented to me because if i had known i would not have paid 10000 dollars for a job that would only last for five years.

Acid wash was OK. Tile is mostly OK (see photos), however the grout used to install the tile at spillway is washing away and the silicone is pulling away from the tile and deckall around the pool and spa. I have contacted Irit Avivi several times via phone, text and email. She has promised to send someone out to fix it and no one fixed it. it is getting worse. She has promosed to come and look at it herself and has never shown up. I promised to hold off on this review as she said she was busy and wanted to fix it. Still, she has not even bothered to contact me. See photos attached.

Irit came out to look but never gave us a proposal after promising us one. We followed up multiple times and each time she promised to get back to us shortly. Two months after her initial visit, we sent her another email checking on the status of the proposal and she never responded.

I am a single Mom with zero family in California and knew nothing about pool renovation so having a trustworthy vendor was key for me which is why I choose to get multiple bids. I was referred to Aqua Care (and a few others) by another company that does not handle pool renovations way back in December 2013. Irit and Raul came out right away and accommodated my work schedule by meeting with me on a Saturday. They measured everything and gave me an estimate a couple of days later as promised but due to unforeseen events I did not hire any vendor for the job. In May 2014 I contacted Irit to see if she and Raul were possibly available and it was my good fortune that they had just finished up another job and would be available right away. Truly love working with Irit and Raul. Think of Irit as your project manager without the price tag and Raul as the onsite manger that gets the labor done on TIME and beautifully! Irit kept me up to date on everything that was going on and if anything got pushed due to supplies not available (coping / tiles) she would inform me right away, offer options or hold until available. Raul answered any concerns and always made sure I was happy with the work done that day or the previous day. I bought an old house with an old pool but now I still have an old house with a STUNNING pool. I would hire this team over and over again. Here?s what they did: Removed and replaced coping Removed and replaced old plaster Removed and replaced old tile plus new tile to step and side bench Removed and redid all the plumbing, up to code and converted to salt water pool Here?s what I experienced: Trustworthy ? YES Reliable ? YES Genuine concern for the client ? YES Cost appropriate for the work ? MORE than YES! Here?s what I hope: They make it to the Pool Party BBQ - I genuinely mean this statement!
