Description of Work: Remodeled my entire pool,raised the entire wall around the pool 9 inches, replaced all components ,new pool ladder, new overflow system,all new pipes throughout , |finished the pool wall etc. all very good job. |This is company who cares more about making the customer happy,than anything else.... Description of Work: Actual services performed were great in diagnosing and repairing issues with a spa blower, timer and switches. Problems were in lack of responsiveness on calling from the office to initial inquiries from myself and setting up of appointments.

Description of Work: Our pool pump stopped working and I'm not mechanically-minded. The pump is a restored pump and we figured it might be on its last legs. The perfect scenario for someone to take advantage of the situation. Aqua Care was responsive, professional and identified the problem within minutes. The pump needed a relatively simple repair (condenser?). We will be repeat customers.

Description of Work: Our old pool heater was shot, they guy came out on time and looked at the timer, ordered a new one and when he installed in he noticed the heating element was shot. We had to order a new heater and they credited us for the labor and timer. Pool heater works great

Description of Work: Irit was quite pleasant to chat with. She, like other pool contractors was full if advice. I really liked that she was not willing to consider bending regulations! She was upfront by saying, you'll pay more, but it is the right thing to do! Most unfortunately she never sent me an estimate!!! I was really hoping to work with her and her team because she seems to have integrity. I called her at least 2 times inquiring about the estimate. Both times I was guaranteed that it was Coming. The last time I spoke toner she was even very apologetic saying she got sick, but if I still will accept the estimate, she will send it. I guaranteed her that i would, after verifying my email address, she said it will be there that afternoon.... that was about a month ago... still no email from her. This review is based solely on the lack of follow-through. I cannot speak for her workmanship since I never hired her.

Description of Work: We'd been looking for reliable, experienced and friendly pool maintenance and had been HIGHLY unsuccessful in finding the right company until we found Aqua Care. Raoul and Irit are all of the above. We pay $100. per month for four visits where Raoul tests and adjusts the chemicals, cleans the pool and washes the deck. I can't tell you what an upgrade they are to taking regular care of the pool ourselves! Now we don't even have to think about it if we want to go jump in, everything is set! Also, they've managed to help us hold on to a very old filter and pump in order to save some money for other things. They are wonderful. Call them now!

Description of Work: The owner and one of her staff visited my property and promised to email me their proposal by the evening. I didn't receive it. I sent a text to the owner as a follow-up 4 days later asking if they still planned to submit a proposal........nothing received !! Not the courtesy of a reply. My feeling at the time was that the scope of the project was too small for them. I knew exactly what I wanted done.....replastering and new tile.....and they were quite abrupt about what I 'should do' . I also mentioned that I had received other bids, as is the normal course before appointing a contractor. I would not recommend this company.

Description of Work: Irit and Raul fixed my 15 year old jacuzzi. The bearings on the main pump blew out and it was making a lot of noise.

+ -1 moreAn improperly installed light fixture left rust stains in my pool. I called Aqua Care and Raul came right out that day and spot cleaned it with acid. Noticing, the numerous spots and stains on the bottom of the pool, he recommended an acid wash. I agreed and days later, I have a sparkling pool.
Description of Work: Spot cleaned plaster (no charge) acid wash ($600) balance and condition new water, incl chemicals ($200)

+ -1 moreWe just bought a house with a pool and are first time pool owners. When we saw the pool initially, it had some black spots which we (foolishly) attributed to dirt. When i called Irite and Raul to come check out the pool to clean it, they said they have never seen black alge so bad in a pool before. Being a first time pool owner, I had absolutely NO CLUE what this meant. They both took the time to explain the situation in detail to me, and help me understand the cleaning process. Understanding the tight deadline we were on to get the pool ready for house guests, they came to the house 3 times to treat and check on the pool! They even suggested that we go with the cheaper, but temporary quick fix, and revisit the more permanent option later after our guests left. It is easy to get taken advantage of when you dont have a clue about something (because I would have paid any amount of money to get this cleaned up) but i felt like both Irite and Raul were honest, and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreThe initial meeting with the representatives I was very nervous. I explained to them right up front that I didn't know a thing about pool maintenance or upkeep. I just had visions of me swimming in a crystal blue pool. They were very patient; I didn't know that so much went into having a pool built. Oncew construction started, I thought, here's where the nightmare is going to start... but no nightmare. The construction crew arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. It is important to know how deep you may want your pool. Do you want to use chlorine or salt water? I went with the salt and am pleased with the low cost of maintenance. Don't worry - they will explain everything you need to know. They even told me the questions I should be asking... As a woman, I usually tend to feel that I am being taken advantage of... like when you take your car to the mechanic. But not this time. I felt great and comfortable. I had other estimates and they exceeded all of my expectations.
Description of Work: I recently had a pool built by Aqua Care. It came out wonderfully! I could not have been happier. They sat with me and very thoroughly answered all of my questions. I told them I didn't have much experience in pool maintenance and they made sure I fully understood every aspect of my pool. I never knew there was so much involved but they made decision making easy. The hardest thing for me to dcide was what color tiles to use. Three years ago, my family had a pool built in their backyard, used a different company and paid almost $15K more!
