Aqua Care

I called irit and set up an appointment for my swimming pool and unfortunately she showed up about 4 hours late. To her credit, she did call me to let me know that she was running late. When she arrived I gave her a list of items that I wanted done along with my name, address, telephone number, and email address. She said she would email me a proposal in about a week and so i waited. After about a week and a half of no email I called her cell phone and left a message and she never returned my call. What a waste of time. Don't bother with this company.

Very professional. Charged exactly what they bid on the job and finished when they said they would. We liked their service so much we hired them to do weekly maintenance on the pool.

It took a long time to get the quote from them. It took a long time. We were not excited about that to be honest. I read most of the reviews and everybody talked pretty good about this company. How reliable they were. So, we decided to go ahead and give them a try and they came to see us. They were in and out in 15 minutes, and they said they would email us a quote and they emailed us a quote much later, so we lost interest. We talked to other people that were on the ball. They will show up on time, they showed up when they said they would show up. They were professional. I would not use them in the future.

Irit & Raul came to my house to give an estimate for my pool remodel, however, I never received a proposal. I called back twice and requested a proposal with no response. Very disappointing given the high ratings here!

It's always a pleasure to deal with Irit Avivi, she's very helpful and respectful on the phone. Their technician Raul came to my property in less than a week after I called the first time, he found what the problem was, then Irit called me and let me know that the problem was the thermostat but that they have to order it from out of state, still the part arrived and Raul installed it in less than a week. I like their service so much that now I hired them to do maintenance for the jacuzzi. I think their prices are very reasonable.

We had Aqua Care come out for an estimate on repairs / upgrades to the pool equipment at our new home. Irit responded to my voice message within an hour and scheduled Raul to come out to the house to take a look at the system within 4 days of my call. They had copies of the inspection report I had sent over, made a thorough review of all the equipment ....and gave me a great education on pool care as this is our first pool. Raul and Joe made some minor tweaks to the system that day and had an estimate for the larger project ready for review the next business day. Prices all seem very reasonable, Raul and Joe were super professional. I appreciated Raul's transparency on what needed to be done right away and what we might phase in; never felt pressured and trusted his experience to best troubleshoot our situation. We're scheduling out the work now. Will be sure to write back with our success! A great team and very reputable, would definitely recommend.

I called this company and they responded immediately by making an appointment for the very next day. I explained that I needed the work done right away as I was on a timeline for my job. Irit came out and took measurements and sent me a quote that evening. She sent me web sites to look at to pick out tile and the pool finish. She then brought samples to the house for me to look at. She also brought others that she thought I might like. She also picked out a cover for the skimmer that goes really well with our pavers. The company stuck to their timeline every inch of the way. Raul & his crew were very informative and left the property all cleaned up. These guys exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use them again & I am already giving my friends their number! You won't go wrong with Aqua Care. They have great customer service & are truly wonderful people! I love my new pool! Thanks, Aqua Care!

Irit and Raul (co-owners) were very courteous and great to work with. They understood our needs and provided good suggestions without putting pressure on us to up sell other services that were not required. The work was performed in a timely manner and they and their crew were prompt, did a great job applying the Stonescape mini pebble surface and cleaned up well. Work timeline:Day 1: chipped out old plaster and cleaned existing tile which looked brand new after.Day 2: they were ready to plaster, however, we decided we wanted several sea turtle mosaics so it took an extra day for Irit to pick them up. Otherwise, the plastering would have been completed on day two.Day 3: plastering was completed in one day and the water was turned on immediately after to refill the pool. Irit came to oversee the plastering crew the entire day. Irit provided verbal and printed instructions on how to perform the pool 'start up,' so I was able to complete the start up process myself. Raul came back a week after the completion of the start up and cleaned the pool filter and to install the light switch/outlet combo. Raul discovered that the light bulb was no longer working and came back about a week later to replace the bulb. I would recommend Aqua Care and would use their services again in the future. Roy

Aqua Care is a friendly, professional service. They do a great job keeping our pool clean and are very unobtrusive.

She said she would call me back that night, but she didn't so I called her back on Monday. She was polite and she did call back the next day. I think they were very good and I had hoped that I could get them but they just called today and said they are too busy and can't service my pool.

We were in the middle of planning a major pool/backyard renovation when my wife got a coupon to sign up for Angie's List. She thought it might be good to use as a referral source for the work. I already had some referrals but she talked me into trying Angie's List. When we looked for pool contractors Aqua Care had such great scores and reviews we thought we had to call them. Like a lot of other people have written, once we met Irit and Raul during the initial discussion we felt very comfortable with them. We were unsure of exactly what we were going to do and what we could afford so we asked Irit to itemize everything we thought we might want to do so we could see what we could afford. She was very comprehensive and the initial prices were competitive (they were average not too high and not the lowest - however like other reviews state, you get more than you pay for so don't be pennywise/pound foolish and chose another contractor because they are cheaper). We are probably not ideal customers because we don't make up our minds easily and weren't sure what we wanted to do. Irit was very patient with us. Many times she would be politely forceful in trying to steer us to strongly consider something that I didn't want to do but later became convinced we should do it (an example was the drainage system which I didn't want to add to the deck only to the house gutters). Both she and Raul treat the project like they are doing it to their own home and want you to have the best they can do. When we eventually went off script and chose to put artificial grass completely around the pool she was able to easily work with us and the grass installer to make it work.As other reviews mention, Irit and Raul are a great team that perfectly compliment each other. Raul's dedication and skill to the construction and pool was very appreciated. I am an engineer and a perfectionist and I watched the process happen every day. I would talk with Raul every day and ask questions or voice concerns. He would answer all my questions, explain why I didn't need to be concerned, or fix something that might be a little off (happened only once and I'm pretty sure Raul would have fixed it if I didn't say anything I just beat him to it). I watched all the construction happen and I am very satisfied with the quality of the work done. I don't believe we could have gotten better quality no matter who we used. I've only found 2-3 areas that aren't perfect in the poured areas and I won't even list them because me wife will never see them - and you would never see them. I mention this because Aqua Care uses StoneScape not Pebble-Tec brand. If you look up StoneScape and Pebble-Tec you see people complain about things not being right and working with the company to fix them. Our StoneScape is great. We have no complaints. After all the quotes and discussions to finally decide on what to do, I feel we got a very fair price. In addition, I feel that they did not nickel and dime us once we started work. I believe I got hundreds of dollars worth of additional work done that they did not charge me for. Many little things came up that were just taken care of. ***One thing I will note is that anytime you are doing major renovations you should plan on having issues pop up. As we started getting into things we found some issues (like needing a well and sump-pump) that increased the cost. We were prepared for that and Irit and Raul did a great job of talking us through options. Many times the cost was not agreed upon before the work was done but I always felt the final price was fair. In dealing with Aqua Care I always felt the price was either fair or a good deal for me. We are extremely happy with our pool and hardscape around the pool. Aqua Care was a great company to work with. We would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

They came out to service my pool heater that was having problems and rather than fixing it they just replaced it. They saved me a ton of money by selling me a used pool heater and everything is working great. I would highly recommend them as everything went wonderful.

Aqua Care did an incredible job in fixing our spa! I would highly recommend using Aqua Care to anyone who has any type of issue with their spa or pool. Raul is a very knowledgeable and easing going guy. He made sure to diagnose any possible problem the spa had. Irit, the business administrator is a cool and easy to talk to gal! She made the entire process very smooth and easy!

First service went very well. We hired Aqua Care through Irit who is a partner but does not do the pool cleaning. When Raul arrived to clean the pool he was courteous, personable and responsive to our concerns. For the first time in 3 years of pool ownership we feel confident that our pool service is in good hands.

They did however provide me with an rough estimate and advice over the phone and through email that i could use to compare other companies to and gave advice on what work really needed to be done, what to ask other companies and what not to get talked into.

I purchased my first house and the pool was leaking, light didn't work, had Black algae in it, heater was busted, electrical wasn't up to code, tiles were cracked with some were missing, water was green, plaster had chunks missing, Etc. I called Irit and they came out and gave an estimate. To fix everything wrong that I mentioned above. The first estimate was over $9k. I told them it would out of my budget and she said she would work with me. They did just that. Got a less expensive tile (which had the look I wanted anyway), cut the price on some services and moved some things around. Thr tiles started at $8.50 and she got it down to $4.50. The replastering part was kida pricey based upon other estimates I got for the same thing. The others seemed to have made up their money in other services. Either way I went with them mostly because they worked with me and my budget and even went through the tile book and marked out which tiles would make my budget work. The team came out early the following week and made it happen. I didn't have any issues that I can remember with anything they did. The pool looks really good now and I can't wait to get in. I have a bunch of photos to show but I don't see where I can upload them...

Two representatives from the company came to the house and spent a long time discussing the job and their approach. They made several suggestions on other repair work (for example, completely replacing the pool filter) which seemed a bit self-serving, but fine...I get that upselling comes with territory. They told me that they would put together an estimate and email me. When I didn't hear from them after a week, I contacted the company via email...no answer. I tried again about a week or two later and still nothing! I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of their high rating on Angie's List and reached out a third time with absolutely no response! I cannot believe a service-oriented company would be that unprofessional. If turning around a simple estimate was that laborious, I can only imagine the poor service I would have received if I had actually hired them! I guess, in the end, their poor service saved me from making the potentially costly mistake of eventually contracting with them.

Wouldn't contact them again due to a lack of responsiveness.

Irit and Raul came out and discussed options with us. Soon after we received a quote which was between two other quotes we received. We decided to go with Aqua Care because they seemed the most professional professional of the three. The other two looked at the pool by satellite and did not follow up on our requests for details. (A third set an appointment and never came.) Anyway, they worked the number with us a little and helped me to convince my wife to go with the pebble tec finish and to redo the tile. Now the pool looks amazing! I am still waiting for Raul to hook up the pool light, but the electrical work is outside the contract and ZI expect him any day, for that, In the meantime we are just pleased that he was able to figure out where the old line ran and was able to rewire the pool light as it never worked before for us. (Okay, he did it. Just right. it's a year later and everything is just right. One of the best investments I made, which is to say no buyer's regret!

We contacted this company because of reviews on Angies list. We did find some negative comments made by some members on the list, but because they had a good record in work performed we asked them to come and talk to us about replastering our pool. They arrived at the appointed time and took information about the work and explained in detail what they would do and what we should consider. We were advised that they would call us with a price of the project. We never got a call back. We did not contact them as we felt that if they wanted to do the work they would have notified us with a price and if we had insisted the quality of the work might have suffered.

My post is very late, but it's only been because I don't post very often. We use Angie's list quite a bit, but only do reviews if we find someone particularly good or bad. Aquacare is particularly good! After reading positive reviews on Aquacare, I contacted the company to come out and meet for a quote on replastering and replacing pump & filter on a badly neglected pool.We negotiated the price and payment schedule, and worked out a plan with Irit and Raul to do the work. The plaster work was excellent, and they were also able to replace our outdated/non-functional pump/filter system. I gave the B on professionalism because a fair amount of packaging, etc. from the equipment was left at the site, but I consider that a minor offense. We have since retained Aquacare to maintain the pool, and it has been kept in pristine condition. Very happy with that service as well.I would hire Aquacare again to do a different pool if needed.

As stated above: Aqua Care is the best in the business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Irit and Raul arrived punctually and made a thorough examination of the jacuzzi and said that they would call me back soon with a quotation, which they did. I therefore asked them to proceed with the replacement of all of the equipment. Aqua Care was extraordinarily efficient - all of the work was carried out in one day, when they said they would do it, and it was done beautifully - for example the new controller pad was mounted on the acrylic shell and was done so neatly that it looks as though it was built that way. Everything works very well. So my experience with Aqua Care was outstanding from start to finish. We are now thinking of building a pool and we will certainly use Aqua Care to do this if we decide to go ahead. I strongly recommend Aqua Care - Irit and Raul are extremely professional, very friendly, and they were a delight to work with.

Aqua Care responded to my inquiry for an estimate promptly, I believe within 1 day. They worked very quickly with me and provided full schematics of the proposed design taking into consideration everything on my wish list. They were very respectful of my budget and were willing to revise the plans a few times to do the renovations at the highest quality while trying to stay within my budget. My yard needed a ton of work and the pool needed a complete rehabilitation. The crew was incredibly punctual, clean, and hard working and the job was finished on time. We are thrilled with the outcome of the project and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have similar work done. Due to budget we did not have them do our irrigation and landscaping at this time but they proved themselves to be incredibly knowledgeable in this area and I would trust them implicitly to do any landscaping work that I needed done. Irit and Raul were a pleasure to work with!

Aqua Care did such an outstanding job re-plastering, re-tiling and changing-out our pool equipment that we have used them as our weekly pool service for the past year. There are very responsive and keep the pool in excellent condition.
