THORPE ROOFING

Description of Work: The owner, Bill, came out to my house one day after I called, to give me an estimate to repair about 15% of my roof which had been destroyed from a powerful wind gust. My insurance company had given me what I believed was a very low estimate for the repairs, and I was right. Bill told me not to be concerned, that the insurance company is familiar with him, and he would provide an estimate and handle it directly. The new estimate from Bill was accepted almost immediately, so I was able to get a check very quickly from the insurance company to pay for the repairs. | |The repairs were done as quickly as I could have imagined, and the roof looked great. The insurance company sent someone to take a look at the repairs, and he thought it all looked very good, but he decided that the eves needed to be painted now, to match the colors along that side of the house - nice insurance company. This would require another estimate for painting the eves. | |I called Bill to see if he could help with an estimate for the eves. He is not a painter by profession, but he called the painter that he has worked with in the past, and my insurance company had the estimate for painting the eves, and I had another check in a very reasonable time frame, so that everything was done very quickly. | |I cannot say enough good things about Bills' company. I will simply say that I have no problem recommending Thorpe Roofing to family and friends, and that choosing Bill to repair my roof made my experience as painless as is humanly possible. Because of my experience with Bill, he will be the one putting a new roof on my home in a few years, once we get the projects done which I have already started. |
