TRICE PLUMBING SERVICE

Called for an estimate for a complete repipe of my home. He was very pleasant, said he'd call back on the weekend and could do the estimate then.. He never called back... his loss.

Mr. Trice was very professional and thought of ways to save me money by doing the best job possible, without using unnecessary materials. He was prompt and courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. I was impressed with how quickly he figured out the problems then jumped into action.

I called as I need to purchase and install a water heater in my home - I asked if they serviced my area, the man on the phone stated "I do but not unless it's a half day job, a 1 hour job isn't worth it".. I then explained the scope of work he then stated "I would do better using a local service because hes not going to save me any money" I let him know I wasnt interested in cost effectiveness I was more interested in the fact that the company was a recommended vendor thru AngiesList... His attitude STUNK!!! not a very good first impression of his company or the list.

I called Mr. Trice during the week of 7/20/09. I received no return call. I called a 2nd time about a week later, and a message left on his phone said he would be out of town until 8/07/09. I decided to leave a 2nd message asking him to call me when he returned from out of town. As of this day, 8/14/09, he has not responded.

It didn't go at all. He never called me back.

Having a rare day off of work, I called to see if by chance they could come out and fix both my toilet and shower leak. I promptly received a call back, the plumber was able to come out with in the hour even though it was not an emergency. And both the snaking of the toilet line and the repair of the shower leak were completed before mid afternoon.

Mark was again very pleasant as he assessed the situation and asked me more questions as I was familiar with the drain layout, and had attempted to clear the clog myself. Using a garden hose and filling in the washer basin, Mark tested the drain before attempting to clear the clog to get a better sense of the problem - THE WATER BACKED UP. He then began clearing the drain using the electric "snake". After about ten minutes of work, he ran the garden house again; NO BACKUP. He then filled the washer basin and allowed it to drain while the garden hose simultaneously running a large volume of water; NO BACKUP. I was completely confident that my drain was working great. I will use Trice Plumbing in the future. Cash or check - They do not take credit cards.

I called around for a new water heater. These guys are the only ones that answer there phone. The plumber I talked to spent time with me on the phone making sure I even needed a new water heater. In fact he gave me a a few thing to check. He helped me get it going over the phone. The water heater could have been repaired, But I trusted these guys. and had them replace the water heater anyway. In the mean time other plumbers called me back with prices and attitudes. That told me I got lucky with this company. Very honest service.
