Description of Work: I have used their service twice this year and they do an amazing job! Jason gives very reasonable rate and Eddie(the painter) is very professional. We used them for interior painting of the entire house in June and we used them again for one bedroom and bath for our new house. We are very happy with their service and we will definitely used them again.

+ -1 moreThey were totally professional all the way. They had a contract, did the work, and Jason was on site working with his team everyday. He checked in with us and discussed the progress. They cleaned the site up every night since the stairway was the only way to the bedrooms. Excellent quality, they even added an extra coat at his cost; just to match better. He is a nice guy and has a hardworking team.
Description of Work: A very tricky job. The house is 80 years old. 12-14 layers of paint needed to be removed in the spiral staircase with high ceilings and two hallways. They needed to match the opposite wall with Ralph Lauren specialty 'sand' paint. It looks great now!!

+ 0 moreEverything was great. He knew exactly how much time was necessary for the job. His crew was well trained, and eager to do a good job. They were neat and very careful. The work started exactly when Jason said it would and finished on time for the agreed price. The job was difficult due to the poor condition of the old paint, but everything came out perfect. I would definitely recommend him.
Description of Work: Jason's crew painted the exterior of a 7,000 square foot house. They detailed lots of wood French doors and windows. Much of the wood trim was in poor condition. They pressure washed, scrapped, and sanded all of the wood trim. All of the plaster cracks were caulked and well prepped.

+ -1 moreIn my opinion this is the WORST contractor I have EVER been involved with in the past 20 years!!! After bidding, accepting, and starting the job he then called and left a message trying to intimidate me into paying him more money by threatening to sue me and claiming he had filed a mechanic's lien against my property (yes I have the message saved). After walking from the job with my money HE TOLD ME HE WOULD SUE ME FOR SLANDER IF I GAVE HIM A NEGATIVE REPORT ON ANGIE'S LIST!!!! (Jason, my attorney's name is Scott Chaplan (310) 315-1700. He is my agent of service and will be happy to accept service on my behalf.) Jason also said that the job cost would be $11,000 to finish and that it was MY job to tell him how much the job should have cost from the beginning (mind you this is to paint the interior of one unit and I have already replaced Jason with a reliable painter who finished it for $2,000!).
Description of Work: ***BEWARE OF THIS GUY!!!*** I obtained 3 bids for the job. With each contractor I walked them through the job site and explained EXACTLY what needed to be done. All bids were similar in work. The bids were $3,500, $4,000, and $4800. Jason quoted $4,800. I told him it was too high and we agreed on $3,500. He did not provide me a written bid. His workers started on Monday. Jason showed up for 30 minutes and left for another job. I posted instructions in the unit for the workers. Day 2 a different crew showed up. On day 5(Friday) with the job 30% complete Jason called and demanded payment of $3,500. I told him I would give him $2,000 as partial payment with the balance when the work was complete. He became angry and complained he was losing money on the job and that it was my fault because it was MY RESPONSIBILITY TO TELL HIM how many man hours and materials the job should have cost. In other words he was mad at me because I didn't write a bid for him!!! Read on...

+ -1 moreMr. Keathley did exactly what he promised and MORE. He worked with me closely, listening to what I wanted, offered very good advice, and he was always right, his taste is impeccable. He is an educated, kind, honest, hard working individual and it was joy to have him around. He pays attention to DETAIL, and how many people do that nowadays? Many VIP's come to my school, including some celebrities and they look around and the first words out of their mouths are always "nice place!" I unreservedly recommend him.
Description of Work: Mr. Keathley painted my entire acting school. He helped me choose the colors and brought in a crew and painted both stories, including the studios from top to bottom.

+ 0 moreWe contacted Jason and he visited us on a Sunday to provide an estimate. He suggested certain color changes which were along the lines of what we desired. He exudes a quiet confidence and was professional throughout the process. He estimated that the job would take 4-5 days, and his crew finished in 4. Jason is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. As unusual as it sounds, the process went according to plan. The crew was always prompt, courteous, and hard-working. The quality is stellar, and one kitchen wall which was previously dull and showed poorly in the light came out very well. When we did a final walk-through, Jason and his crew impressed us by putting on the final touches with no attitude. An overall very satisfying experience, and would recommend to anyone. Jason has high expectations of himself and crew, and it's apparent in the workmanship.
Description of Work: Painted the interior of our 1,715 square foot house. Removed wallpaper in several rooms, and we changed the colors of the walls throughout the house. Paint was applied to all ceilings, doors, walls, baseboards and window sills. Closet doors were painted; but interior closets were not. A few walls were prepped after the wallpaper was removed in order to smooth out the finishes.

Description of Work: Called and spoke with Jason. Arranged for him to come to my home the next morning and give an estimate for painting the living and dining rooms. He arrived 15 minutes early. Very presentable. Seemed very knowledgeable. He quoted me a price after inspecting the area closely. Made some very good comments. I asked for his contractor's license. He gave me his card issued by the state contractor's licensing board. I jotted down the number. Told him I would think about it after I checked the government's website. The site showed that his license was suspended. He hadn't renewed his insurance since March. It also showed he had no workers comp insurance. I called the insurance company. He had not renewed, this is Dec. I called him that morning and left a message informing him of what I found and asked that he call me. He hasn't called.

+ 0 moreJason was super prompt returning my first call and every following call. He came in as the lowest bid, completed the work super fast and on time, and did an excellent job. The house is a rental (my mom's house) and she depends on the income. Jason came in and got the whole thing looking beautiful! I got a highly qualified tenant because of the wow value the house had with the new paint and all. I'm not a pro. All I had to do was have one meeting with Jason, tell him what I had in mind, and then come see the finished job a few days later. He really cares about his work and won't cut corners, while still getting me the best price. There's not much elese to say... it was that easy.
Description of Work: Jason and his guys painted the entire interior of my house; (I mean every nook and cranny) inside closets and cabinets, every wall, baseboards, doors, window frames. It's a 1600 sq ft. house. They also painted an exterior wall along my driveway and the garge door.

Jason returned my call the day I contacted him, came to see the property on that same day, & within 2 days the work was completed. Jason was very helpful in determining which rooms needed to be totally repainted, which areas could be touched up and/or patched, & which areas could be cleaned without painting. I have no doubt that other painters would have told me that the entire house needed repainting. I very much appreciated Jason's honesty & expertise. The work performed was excellent. I would not hesitate to use him again.

He showed up promptly, worked without interruption and, at the end of the day, the apartment was both superbly painted and free of any drips on the newly sanded floor, the new kitchen counter, or the newly refinished tub. In a word, the work was superb.
Description of Work: Jason and his crew painted a small (single), newly refurbished apartment, including a full kitchen and bath, a walk-in closet, numerous cabinets, and the nook for a Murphy bed.

He arrived on-time every day, except one, yet called me on that day to let me know that he was on his way. He was very eager to please & to do a job that I was going to be happy with, creating as little of a mess as possible. He took his time and did the job right which minimized touch-ups. He kept his work areas clean. He is very professional, polite & friendly. I would hire him again.
