Description of Work: The company was Sky Blue Restorations; hired to provide a number of services for my gas fireplace. The serviceman did not complete the job, dismissed the list of services that he was to perform on the actual coupon, and tried to convince me that I did not know what I was talking about. After the serviceman left, I reviewed the service that I had paid for, realizing that I had not received 1/4 of what was paid for... I called the company, expressing my disappointment, and received the excuse that the serviceman was confused, and did not understand. The serviceman was not confused, he read the job description clearly, and neglected to do his job. The owner of the company did not like that I was holding them accountable, did not like that I knew what I was talking about, and did not like that I was not stupid and expected them to do the job for which they were paid. Final straw the company did not show, call or return my calls when they did not show up for their initial appointment. Later 2 mo. later they contacted me and I gave them another chance. On the bottom of their work order reads, that they charge a $45 fee, should you cancel on them less than 24hrs. of their service appointment. Question- what don't I get to charge; they don't show, call for their appointment, return my calls 2 mo. later, show-up for their appt., and do a s***** job, and then make excuses that they were 'confused' when they are asked to be accountable. Never, ever, ever, ever trust, use, hire or refer Sky Blue Restorations- they are a scam, a waste of time, money and effort!!!!!! ps After the provider left, I spent shy of 2 hours, cleaning the imitation logs, rocks, gravel of the dust in my gas fireplace. It again was to be done by this co. that had the proper equipment, and know-how etc., . It was a time consuming mess, in addition to the time that I had made in my daily schedule (for the second time) to be available to have the service done.
