Really not good. The saying "you get what you pay for" was definitely true in this case. I know when you get your carpet cleaned you can't expect a heavily soiled carpet to suddenly look sparkly clean and almost new, but it should look quite a bit cleaner. In our case, we had quite a few pet urine stain on a carpet that we really don't care for because it is going to get replaced soon, but it was becoming an eyesore so we wanted a temporary solution. The guy came out to clean two rooms, the ugly one we don't care much for, and our guest bedroom that we just had new carpet installed in but our dogs decided they needed to add their scent so each left a small gift. Like I said, we weren't expecting a miracle but... He was there for no more than 15 minutes, which did seem way too quick but it looked okay when he was finished so I didn't feel I had a reason to complain. He did tell me to give him a call if it didn't look good once it dried, which is exactly what happened. I ended up calling him to let him know that the stains were quite apparent, and that the carpet in the guest room smelled like dog poop. He said the smell was just the scent of the carpet cleaner, and would eventually go away. He also did not think it would make a difference if he cleaned the carpet again because he could not guarantee that dog stains would be removed. It might sound like I was expecting too much, but I recently realized that I was not. Right before Thanksgiving I had another company come out to clean just the ugly room with the old stains. He was there for one hour cleaning just the ONE room, and it looks great! It looks cleaner than ever and doesn't smell bad at all. I paid a little bit more but it was definitely worth it.

I was able to schedule the service that worked for me. The guy is very knowledgable and professional. Answered questions related to fireplace and chimney operation.

They arrived on time, did a good job, and kept the area clean while they worked.

Gentleman came in with an assistant and laid down plastic before commencing work. Then they proceeded to vacuum out the fireplace and then cleaned the chimney itself. At one point, I saw a lot of ashy dust in the air, but I don't know where it was actually coming from. So following their cleaning of my chimney, I then had to wipe down my entire den due to the fine layer of ash that went everywhere. However, they were courteous and extremely fast.

Extremely well. Called when 30 minutes out and they were quick and efficient. Very professional.

Easy scheduling, came to do the service at the time scheduled, performed the cleaning quickly and without leaving any residual ashes on floor by the hearth.

Job was completed in a timely fashion, I assume they did the job property. I was not happy with the whole process, attitude. I would not use this company again.

No services were performed even though three (3) apointments were made. The first apointment was scheduled for October 30, 2012, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. At around 2:00pm, "George" from Sky Blue Restorations called to cancel it because of equipment issues. The second apointment was supposed to be on November 12, 2012 from 8:00am to 12:00pm. At 12:15pm they had not shown up and had not called to indicate if they were coming or not. I called their number and the answering service responded and took a message from me. They finally called at 12:40pm to indicate that they were now ready to start on their way to my address. I could not wait for them to get to my house and then start the job, so I declined and rescheduled for Monday, November 19 at 8:00am. "George" indicated that this third apointment at 8:00am would ensure Sky Blue Restorations were at my address on time. At 12:30pm on the day of the apointment, they had neither arrived nor called. I contacted Angie's List by phone and email and sent Sky Blue Restorations an email to start a refund process as I figured they were not interested in honoring the apointment. I wasted time on three occasions waiting for Sky Blue Restorations to get to my house to perform the service. Mr. Jorge Vilchis and his company are not reliable and behaved with a total lack of consideration for my time.

Purchased a angies list deal for carpet cleaning, ~$150. Emailed the provider and received no response after a few days, which has been my typical experience with service providers on angieslist. Called their "office" and had an extremely difficult time understanding them. They arrived on time and began work quickly. They advised that some areas were highly soiled and would not likely be able to get out all the grime, to which I understood prior to selecting the service. The carpets were cleaned in a little under an hour and a half. Upon reentry into the house 5 hours later I found pools of water leading from each carpeted hallway into the living room (which has wood floors). Now I fear water damage on the wood floors. 2 days after the carpets were flooded, I mean "cleaned", they are still absolutely drenched. Fans and heaters on for 2 days straight. This morning was day 5...still too wet to move in furniture. After calling the cleaners they indicated it was a combination of the clammy weather and the fact they had to use a lot of water to get the dirt out. As their potential services include mold remediation and restorations, they should be knowledgeable to the fact that leaving gallons of water in carpet causes the very problems they claim to be able to fix. This morning, day 5, I was still able to role in my wet/dry vac and suck up a generous amount of water.

The technician showed up, introduced himself and was very kind. Upon entry he inspected the fireplace an d rolled up the family room run, he brought in the shop vac and motorized vent cleaner. so far all is going well. I asked about how one becomes trained in fireplace cleaning, he had professional training and was a restorer of residential and commercial buildings. Very qualified. He proceeded to hook up the equipment, I went into the kitchen and made a sandwich, less than 10 minutes, went back into the family room and the job was done. He was putting the equipment away. Firebox is nicely vacuumed, that is about the amount of service that was done. Expected to have the chimney vent and flue cleaned as well but nothing. I am now off to HD to buy a shop vac to try and finish the job. we have a baby due in one week so this is why we were hoping to get a chimney sweep cleaning done.

Extrrely poorly, especially since my wife wanted the carpets cleaned and I told her I has arranged it.

The two men worker together to brush chimney clean and vacuum from inside house firebox the soot with a filter.After removing my spark protector from top of chimney they put brush down chimney. They put plastic over firebox preventing soot from entering house. I asked them to inspect my liner for defaults and he was able to answer my questions. Did not take very long(less than a half hour) and they were gone. I then had a peace that I could use the fireplace safely.

The only negative was the surprise when they charged us an additional $30 beyond the cost of the 'Big Deal' because we have an older brick chimney. I didn't recall seeing a statement regarding the possibility of an additional cost for a brick chimney in the Big Deal description. They stated their Big Deal was for a newer cement lined chimney, not a brick lined one. Overall, we were satisfied and would call them again in the future.

Company showed up exactly when scheduled and was very polite. Tech took time to make sure fireplace hearth and surrounding floor area were covered. With a camera scope showed the before state of the chimney and 20 minute later when completed the clean chimney. No mess and finished in 30 minutes. Will use again.

Gentleman cleaned out our dryer line and did a very thorough job. The only complaint is the amount of lint that ended up in my back yard but well worth it.

The team of two were on time and called before they arrived. Professional at all times and they covered the floor. They did the chimney sweep with a spining brush and vacumn. After cleaning they tested the gas fireplace and ensured all worked well. They also taught me the do and don't of a gas fireplace since this is my first time using it. I asked if they can inspect the top of the chimney/pipe to make sure all is ok, but they only did a visual inspection from the ground told me is was ok.

They came in and did a professional job, and were out in about 40 minutes. The main reason I had them come was because we had just moved in and the fireplace does occasionally give off a typical odor, even when not in use. I incorrectly assumed a chimney sweep would solve that problem. I was informed when they got here that it does not, but I decided to have them go through with it any way. This is my fault and doesn't factor into their score. This was my first Angie's List deal ($99), and getting them here was part of the problem. This company took almost 14 days to call me after I purchased the deal. Supposed to be within 2. I'm very busy so I cut them some slack. As it was, we had to reschedule a couple of times - once for me, once for them. I'm assuming they got swamped with the deal and were simply overbooked. While they were here, I was told that I'd have to pay $30 more because I had a brick chimney. I'm not happy with the surprise surcharge AT ALL. I can't judge the quality of work because I don't know how dirty it was beforehand, and I can't tell if it's clean now. Maybe they should use some kind of test or inspection agent (exploratory camera) to show before/after.

They arrived on time and went right to work. Did a thorough cleaning and then an inspection. Answered all questions and recommended some minor maintenance work and how to do it. They were great!
