Ordered, scheduled, they performed. Everything turned out fine. They had to make a second trip out and really did a great job.

They came over and did the cleaning. The stone was still dirty after they left. I sent photos to the owner and he said they can either do the work or refund the work. He said since I live in a condo, they could not bring the equipment up the stairs and would have to do it by hand. He said he would schedule me on 4/6, which I agreed to. I decided to cancel and get refund as promised since the staff said they could only do it by hand. Since then, I have been trying to get him on the phone and he either does not answer or says he has not spoken to his staff about the work.

The stone floor looks great! I was given a window of 8am-12pm for arrival and they arrived exactly at 12pm quite proud of themselves for making it within that window. They were professional and did a good job.

They gave the area a 20 minute try then said they could not clean it. They then gathered square footage numbers to submit a verbal bid to strip and reseal our 700 square feet of saltillo tile and left. I never received a follow up call, OR a written quote. 2 weeks ago, (around March 27) I received a phone call from the company asking if anyone had ever come out to do the Angie's List coupon work...all of their paperwork had been mishandled/lost, they said. At that time, a promise was made to call me to schedule yet another estimate and quote and I still have not heard a word from them. I want my $99 back.

My husband was home when the service person came to perform the inspection. He said the person informed him of some loose bricks in the fireplace that did not need fixing now but might need work int eh future. He used a camera to look up the chimney and give his opinion on its condition. He was on time, courteous and did not try to sell us on services we did not need or want.

The Technician that performed the service was on time, did a curtsy call and was very friendly. He went outside got all his equipment and came back in, I took the family upstairs to get out of his way. It seems like 20 minutes later he told me he was done. I came downstairs there was no mess for sure. He did a great clean up, but I really don't know how there could have been that big of a mess in 20 minutes. How could he have done a thorough brushing top to bottom, clean and a 21 -point inspection. We have not had our chimney cleaned in over 6 years and have a lot of fires all winter long, so it had to be pretty dirty I would think. When I asked him about the inspection he said everything looked good and pointed a couple of areas out that they check. Overall it went well just don't know how thorough it could be.

Their exam was visual only and confined to the fireplace grates areas only. Unlike my previous experience with Sully's chimney cleaning - which I highly recommend - they did not go up on the roof to inspect the chimneys or even inspect them from the ground level. I asked them about this, and they said they didn't need to. They pointed out to me that I hadn't fully opened the flue, and they noticed the loose connection in the gas piping in the living room chimney. I was disappointed they did not go up on the roof to inspect for damage which might have occurred during the past year, since I last had the chimney inspected. They also did not clean any of the acculmulated black soot from the fireplace bricks. When they left, notwithstanding they had informed me of the loose gas pipe and the semi-closed flue, I felt that I had basically paid almost $200.00 for them to vacuum the grates.

All he did was use the moisture detector. He was punctual and on time. He was somewhat informative. He was professional. I thought for what they did the price was a little high.

I was not there when the cleaning took place, but my the person that was watching the house noted they were on time, friendly and very helpful.

We made an appointment over the phone. They showed up right on time and got to work, answered any questions we had, cleaned up after themselves, then left. Great service!

Company came on time; efficiently cleaned chimney; protected living room from mess; all was left in perfect condition (well, at least the same way it was before they came). Big thumbs up.

Appointment was to be between 3-5 pm and I recieved call at approx 9 am that tech was at my house. Mix up with the scheduling - not the tech fault. I called the previous day to confirm appt date and time. Not sure what a fair price for chimmney sweep is because I have never utilized this service before. Tech was very careful to clean up after his job.

The work has not been done yet.

George Vilchis came out to perform the mold inspection I ordered from Angie's List but it was not the type of inspection I was expecting. He mentioned that (in the fine print ) the test was not an air-quality test... but that he company would do it. I told him I would wate for an other deal on Angies List. As we talked he mentoned that his company also tests for Lead & Asbestos so I paid him an extra $270 for those two extra tests. He said I would receive the invoice vie email and the results of the two inspections by the following friday (at the latest). Friday came but I had not received any info so I called SkyBlueRestorations and spoke to George. he said he'd send the Asbestos report but the Lead was not complete yet so he wold email it soon as he received it. The following Monday I received an Asbestos test report from a third-party company called Qualtest, Inc. I checked the Qualtest website, which tests for every type of mold but found no indication that they test for any other substance. This document also had my incorrect address so I emailed George back and asked for the other (Lead) test and to resend all the info & and invoice with my correct address & info. heres the email i wrote: Hi Gorge, Thanks, though this document shows an incorrect address and there is no conclusion for the lead. (only asbestos is mentioned) Its' also not an invoice for the total cost of $270 that I was changed. Please send me the reports and a complete invoice with the correct information. I will need all this info to show my insurance company. Best, Nikko George emailed me back on on the 21st and said he would resend it but that was over a week ago and I have not heard back from him so I'm disputing the charges with my credit company until they can provide an invoice and verifiable proof of the work i paid for. At this point i have wasted a lot of time and $370 on their services. These guys are either incompetent or just scammers... most likely a bit of both.

Ågain, there weren't any appointment dates that worked for me during the holidays in 2012.

Cleaning was fast and not as thorough as higher priced cleaning. Did not carefully cut paint and caulk around edges of vents causing sections of paint to peel off the wall. Wanted to sell air filters at $100 ea but when I said no, then lowered price to $50 ea.

The service person arrived, examined the area where vent, etc was located explained what he was going to do and then went to work. He explained what he was doing as he worked. He was pleasant and professional worked fast and the experience was easy and good.

He was on time and fairly quick. They also cleaned the bathroom floors, which I did not intend for them to do. What I expected was a high quality granite sealer to last years. I expected to see shiny counters when he left. What I got was a DEP product that you can get at Home Depot that the worker said might last 6 months. The counters were cloudy when he left. Because I did not get what I expected for the money, I will not use them again. I can easily do what they did for a fraction of the cost.

Our fireplace chimney has not been cleaned in 10 years. Justin from Sky Blue Restorations called on the day of our appointment to inform us he would be a half hour early. He arrived and inspected our chimney from the inside of our condo. He decided that it would be better to do most of the cleaning from the top of our condo project 2 story roof. He did a thorough job and inspected the chimney for cracks and flaws. After he finished on the roof, he continued cleaning the fireplace from the inside with a strong vacuum. He was very polite and did not try to sell us an upgrade to the cleaning. I fully recommend Sky Blue Restoration for your chimney sweep needs.

Although I haven't yet used the heater or air conditioner, everything seemed to go well during the service call. I am asusming that they did a good job on actually removing the dust etc from the vents. My only criticism, and it is not a minor one, is that the technician was very sloppy in replacing the air vents. After he left I had to walk around the house with a ladder and screw driver and re-attach the vents as many screws had been only partialled re-installed or installed at bad angles. I also had to make a trip to the hardware store to buy more screws as some disappeared altogether.

OUr dryer vent hadn't bee cleaned in several years. The dyer is upstairs and vents through the roof. He cleaned it carefully and didn't make an mess.

I got a call from the company. Made an appt. The two men from the company came on time and were professional. Very pleasant men. I liked their work. I would have liked getting a quote for more areas of my house as I have all tile and the grout needs to be cleaned and sealed in more places. I would recommend their service.

I called regarding the ad and scheduled it. Unfortunately, it was a couple of weeks in the future. The guys were very good and did their best. They gave little hints here and there about how to help with the prevention of allergies. I even ordered a special furnace filter for allergens, although I have not received it as yet.
