Sky Blue Restorations

It was really straightforward. We made an appointment for the next day and they arrived during their given time range. Took them two and half hours to clean the kitchen area and some other tiled parts. Miguel, the guy who cames to do the jobs on sight, was really helpful and cooperative. He even offered to clean the air ducts or dryer ducts at a discount since he was already at the location. They charge a bit more when you make an appointment and they exclusively come just for that. All in all, it was really good and we would definitely want to use their service again. BTW, they offer good deals if you get their service on a 3-6 months basis. Ours was cheaper because we got a special deal for $99 but normally this is $500 for one time and $300-400 if you go every 3-6 months.

It went well. He came on time and performed the services I asked for.

They were very good. The young guy that came was very nice, helpful, and you could ask questions. It went well. He also gave me a free estimate for cleaning out my air ducts. They were running late so I had to call and they were very responsive. He gave me a time estimate and was within that half hour. I thought the price was reasonable.

This company was so unprofessional and unresponsive! The first time I called and left a message, about 3 weeks after I got my coupon, I didn'r receive a call back for several weeks. When I did, they left a messageasking if the work had been performed or if it needed to be scheduled, as if they had no records. When I finally got to them and scheduled, the first time they were so late I had to cancel. The second time they never came at all, and the third time they were so late I had to cancel. I am now asking for my money back and would never use this company or recommend them to anyone. If this is how they run their business, I can only imagine how shoddy their work would be.

Miguel was terrific. Polite, professional, and patient. It didn't start out well because I had paid $99 for The Big Deal only to learn that in the "fine print" on the coupon it stated that for my fireplace it would cost $30 more. I believe that should have been in big letters since this is about saving money as much as getting good service. Once this was straightened out - I paid the extra fee. Miguel was here already and the fireplace needed to be cleaned. I moved all the furniture close by and Miguel put heavy duty paper everywhere to keep the soot from blowing around the room. He went to work right away and cleaned out a tank full of debris noting the breaking of bricks and lack of mortar where needed as well as an unusual design of my fireplace that made it hard to fully clean. I could see what he was talking about and it was legit. He finished in a reasonable amount of time. Cleaned up and left. I think we were both uncomfortable about the $30 price surprise. He is only a technician and not responsible for this. The other problem I had was getting this scheduled and done. I had to cancel once, then the technician (another one) called and said his truck broke down shortly before he was due to arrive. I think if I had thought about things more carefully I would not have hired a company so far from where I live. They also wanted a 2 hour interval instead of a scheduled arrival. Which was okay but Miguel couldn't find my house and so he started later in the day than the planned time. Like I said Miguel was terrific once he got going. My fireplace needs work and I wish this company could do it. They can't.

The results of the pressure wash were good and they even cleaned the hardscape in the back yard. However, there turned out to be some damage to my front lawn where they spilled some cleaning solution. There was about a 2x3 foot piece of lawn that died as a result.

The teck was professional and courteous. He did a good job cleaning the vents and ducting. The person who took my order had a difficult time understanding English and wrtote down the wrong address. When the Tech looked up my address, he got the wrong one. He called me just before he left and due to the wrong address, was one hour late.

The two person crew showed up within the expected time frame and gave us a courtesy call beforehand, which was appreciated. It took about two hours for the work to be done. Both men were very courteous. The tiles are noticeably cleaner now, and the sealant is holding up well to this point.

They were quick, clean and efficient.

The technician, Alex, did an excellent job, was very courteous and helpful. The price was reasonable.

I would give Miguel, (the man that showed up to do the work), the highest marks. I took a bit off professionalism because his shirt was torn, etc but he works so hard it was not a major disappointment. He called in the am when he was on his way, explained everything. Did all the expected work and more. If he ran into a problem in the attic, which he did, he showed me a picture of the problem before he repaired it. He offered me some extras, disinfectant and a filter that doesn't need to be replaced, which I agreed to. He did an excellent job of cleaning up after cleaning the ducts. He cleaned the tile downstairs showed me the cleaned tile before sealing, recommended a cleaning schedule and I have booked for him to come back to do all of the tiled rooms in 6 months. That was the good news The bad news was scheduling this service. I originally scheduled for last week. a couple of days before my service date. I received a call from Sky Blue trying to book an appointment for the duct cleaning. I told the man that I already had an appointment the next day. He checked the schedule and confirmed that I had an appointment. The day of the scheduled appointment, no one came. My appointment was from 8-12. I called at 12 and spoke with George who told me that they had tried to confirm my appointment but that my number had been disconnected and they couldn't confirm so they could not come out for the appointment. I told him that someone from his office had called me yesterday trying to set up an air duct cleaning so they had my number and he confirmed my appointment. George offered to refund my money from Angie's big deals but I told him I just needed him to show up when scheduled and do the work. We rebooked for today. 2 days ago I received another call from Sky Blue trying to set up an appointment to clean my ducts. I started to get nervous and told him that I already had an appointment set up for today which once again he confirmed. Now I am feeling like Deja Vu. A couple hours later he called back again trying to set up an appointment to clean my ducts, this was too much so I asked him to have George call me, that I didn't have faith that they were going to keep this appointment either. George never called. Yesterday, no one called to confirm todays appointment, I called the office and did not receive a reply. I went to Angie's list and read some recent reviews and saw similar problems with scheduling and then a warning about licensing, now I am really getting nervous. You can not imagine my surprise and delight when Miguel called this morning and then came and did the work. So high grades for Miguel and poor grades for scheduling and office organization. I will give them another chance in 6 months and let you know.

The men were very polite, and worked quickly. I am especially pleased with how nice the grout looks. It was very dirty.

This was a tough job because I have a stacked dryer washer that is build in. It is difficult to remove the unit. The job was done well. Unfortunately the washer line started leaking afterwards, but the service man from Sky Blue came back immediately to fix the problem. Great service!

He took samples and ran some tests to see if we had a problem. We did not have a problem.

The cleaning went very well and we were satisfied with the service. The only problem was that the company left through the garage and the soot that was taken from the chimney was all over the garage floor when they exited. We did not notice the stain until after the fact but all in all, the company provided an excellent service.

Excellent. They were on time and in and out in just a short tie. Cleaned the vent in the dryer and also the tub that leads to the outside of the house. I should have had this done a long time ago. They really knew their craft.

Jason was very thorough and took the time to explain what he did each time. SkyBlue was punctual and called ahead of time to give me an ETA. Unfortunately, for our first appointment, my house had no power but they were totally cool about rescheduling. No hassle at all about coming back to do the job.

The original deal was for 350 square feet. At first, they were only going to do one area, but later agreed to do all.

Two guys cleaned the grout using a cleaning solution and a long-handled brush. They also sealed the tile. When they left, all the grout was wet, so you couldn't see the areas that were not cleaned that well. After drying, you realize they could have done a much better job. I have cleaned the floor grout myself (on my hands and knees with a toothbrush), so I know it could have been much cleaner.

Thorough, neat. Flexible in scheduling service.

Excellent service, Courteous men great job would switch-men then to anyone.

Only took about an hour, would definitely use this company again. Jorge and his helper were very professional.
