Sky Blue Restorations

There was an Angie's List deal for 99.00 to have tile and grout cleaned and sealed. On the first visit, I was told that I could not use that since my job was more involved and would be 300.00 instead. I agreed just anxious to get it done. The second visit, they stripped all the old sealer off and cleaned the floor. The third visit, they claimed to have sealed the tile. I called them back since when I wiped a paper towel on the tile, red clay came up. They came a fourth time and said they resealed it. They did not since I now have water spots showing up everywhere and the tile is very dull and porous. I called the owner Jorge but he was not interested in fixing it and, by this time, I didn't want to deal with them anymore so now I am left with a mess of a floor and am trying to find a company who can fix it. This is one of the worst experiences I have had with any company. Miguel, from the company, was a very nice and courteous employee and was just doing what he was told by management. Bad news!!

He arrived on time peeped all areas and did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend his outstanding work to anyone!!!

HORRIBLE. Whatever he used to clean the marble was so caustic that it dulled the marble finish, stained the baseboards and abutting carpet and corroded the brass sill in our entryway. As he was preparing to leave and the marble was beginning to dry and look dull, I asked him about the sealer. At first he said it wasn't included, but after reminding him that the coupon stated otherwise, he got a little hand-held spray bottle and spritzed the marble, which initially gave it a shine while it was wet, but by the time he drove off, it had begun to dry to a matte finish. On further inspection, I noticed that he had not done a thorough job of cleaning out the baseboard corners and behind the commode. This guy should be in the demolition business, NOT the restoration business.

They told me I might have mold damage. He never responded to my emails. I called him this morning and said I wanted a refund. It seemed like he did not want to do the job. He should have told me upfront that the job was not big enough or what the situation was instead of not responding and letting me wait around.

I had to ask Angie's list to help me set the appointment; Blue Sky was not responsive to my requests to set an appointment. The service man was very nice and the tile grout turned out well. They did not get a higher "grade" because of the difficulty in setting the appointment, plus there were full footprints from their boots where they walked across my wood floor and they splashed cleaner on my appliances and stained my new stainless steel dishwasher.

This is the first time I own a house with a working chimney. I was expecting a 21-point inspection (whatever that means) and a thorough cleaning of the chimney (i.e. someone getting a large broom to remove the dirt from inside the chimney). In that sense I was a little disappointed by the cleaning service provided. They vacuum the chimney and told me a couple of things that I didn't know (which was actually very good advice). They were very professional during the cleaning, but I found that it was a rather expensive service for a vacuum and the two things I learnt. Having said that, the biggest point of pain I experience with them was to communicate with them. It took about a month and several voice mails and emails to get their attention. There was also a little bit of confusion about the actual date of the service (they came one week too early) which made things a bit more complicated. But finally we managed to sync and the service got done.

The 2 servicemen were very polite and knowledgeable. I was happy with the service.

I was expecting them to charge me more than the set deal amount because I had heard that some chimney’s get charged more but they did not. They were on time. They were in and out really quickly; it was amazing.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. This was the first time I used them. They showed up when they said they were going to. They did a pretty thorough job. There were a couple corners where they could have gotten and cleaned a little bit more but otherwise, they did a good job and that was a very good bargain.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was lovely. The young man was delightful. He did a fine job cleaning. He made no mess at all. He had never seen Mary Poppins in his life so I played it for him and sang him the song. He was so excited that he was going to go home and buy it. It was a delightful human interaction so it was good all the way around. They were really prompt on scheduling.

They turned out fine. They're very responsive.

They got the tile clean but quite a bit of the grout is still stained. We wouldn't pay that much again to just clean the tile. The grout is the hard part to clean and we wish it had worked out.

Provider examined roof for potential repair and determined it was in good shape and required no additional service. Other roofers came in and insisted on new roof immediately at high cost. They came in, looked closely and explained why there was no need. I was ready to install a new roof based on the other opinions, but they saved me thousands and were very honest. Punctual and cordial.

It did not turn out good. I just was not happy. They were in and out within a few minutes. In the beginning they weren't going to even do the shower, they were just going to do a very tiny floor. I convinced them to do the shower but I didn't see them doing any cleaning in the grout. I just saw them put a coat of refinishing or whatever you call that liquid. The price was good, that's why I called them. But I thought they were going to do a better job. They came right away.

It turned out okay. They were supposed to give me an estimate, which I never received. They delayed me.

The two cleaners came in, surveyed our areas, and let us know that in the future each area would be counted as a separate job, but this time they would allow the $99.00 to cover both areas. They applied some cleaner and scrubbed the grout clean, then rinsed and dried the areas. Then sprayed grout sealer. After they left, all visible areas looked very clean, brand new, but the areas along the toe kick close to the walls were not scrubbed clean. Perhaps I was expecting too much for my $99.00?

There was nothing bad and I was satisfied with him. He showed up on time, did the work he said and was prompt. He was clean and cleaned up after he left.

They first told us they are only cleaning up to a few duct system not the entire house. Then, I show them their advertisement, the worker said taht he will do the whole house. However, I observed their work, they only do one or two ducts and a couple of outlets or louvers. I did not see they delievered their promise and did what they need to do. They did a partial work but charge for the entire work.

They were fine, nice and everything just they were far and I wanted to know for sure before having someone come out.

This was an Angie's Big Deal. The provider delivered as promised. They had to delay service one day due to equipment trouble but called to inform and reschedule. Showed up the next day on time and performed the service quickly and eficiently. Cleaned up well after the job.

It went great and I would them again.
