This is the first time I've ever had a chimney swept, so I'm not 100% sure what they are supposed to do. However, Jonathan certainly took his time, explained things to me, and was a thorough professional. It took some time for us to connect, through no fault of the company. Once he was here, he took extra time to make sure the job was done right. Apparently, the chimney hadn't been swept in many, many years. Now, it's good to go! I'm very well pleased.

Talked to the office they said Alex the technician would contact me. We set a date he called to say he couldn't make it so we set another date and didn't show up or call to inform me of a problem. I don't wish to sit around my house any more waiting for nothing to happen.

It turned out fine. I didn't really watch them but I thought it was awfully quick. They didn't seem to spend much time cleaning out my fireplace because I had it chimney sweep before. I was surprised that how that he was in and out of there very quick and he said he just reached out on something and that it wasn't that bad....that to me was a little quick.

This company was a failure all around for service. They made you wait for 4 hours for the service technician to arrive, then fail to show up or even call if there was a problem. When I tried contacting the owner regarding the service failure, he doesn't answer the phone nor does he return his messages. I had to process a request for a refund on the "Deal" that I purchased for this service through Angie's List. No customer wants to hear that they couldn't do your job as promised because they were busy with other jobs. It's just an unprofessional excuse! I guess that makes your job less important, especially when you paid for the service in advance of it being performed.

It was alright, he kept the appointment and he was pretty much on time. The amount of work he had to do was a lot less than I thought but it all worked out okay. He ran his thing up my chimney, he told me the chimney looked great and that was it. I haven't used the chimney yet but I think it was pretty good.

First, it took a week for Alex to contact me after I had bought the deal. We made an appointment for the work, which he then cancelled due to a truck breakdown. He did not call back to reschedule as promised. I finally called him for a new appointment for which he was on time. I have a 20-year old dryer that works well. I have it cleaned periodically. It's in a basement laundry room, but access is easy. Alex did not seem to know how to proceed and he could not find the outside exhaust. He erroneously picked out the bathroom exhaust on the first floor, and told me that since no air was coming out of that exhaust (obviously!), there was something wrong, but that he could do the extra work (at extra cost). Why was he not able to locate the exhaust vent outside? I assumed he would know since it's his job. I asked him several times what he did with the lint he must have removed. No answer to my questions. (In the past, workers always showed me the lint they removed as proof of cleaning.) It was very difficult to communicate with him. At this point, I felt this guy was neither trustworthy nor professional, and barely polite, so I told him to leave. I feel I have wasted $69. After he left, I turned the dryer on, and I could feel the warm air coming out of the exhaust outside. There was no blockage after all, but I doubt the ducts have been cleaned.

The first time, they came out--they cleaned my chimney and my dryer duct. They were on time, polite and very efficient. They also cleaned up after work was done, perfectly. I had them come out again to clean my kitchen floor and entry way. Wow, it is beautiful. They are very good and I'm having them come out to clean my carpet next. Thank you for having them on your lists.

It was perfect. They came on time and did their job. They had a great job. This is the second year we used them to clean out our chimney.

Quick and clean operation. All external surfaces were covered and protected. A visual inspection was done before manual cleaning. There was no roof climbing needed.

However, 2 days after the work my heating/cooling system stopped functioning. When called them, they said hat had nothing to do with them. Which I did not understand, because they showed me a diagram of the entire system and showed me what was looking okay and what needed replacing. That was it. No apology, no let us come back and see if we mistakenly disconnected something, NOTHING.

The vent seems to be OK however the service person did not want to move the dryer or take off the connection between the dryer and the wall to insure it was not clogged. He assured me the router that he had inserted from the outside vent had gone all the way into the dryer to clean out any cloggs. The jury is still out. I would have like to see for myself that the connection between the dryer and the wall was not clogged.

Alex and his assistant were grace under fire, personified. My homeowners association security guard tried to kick them out because of the trailer with equipment on their truck parked in front of my unit (it is not allowed by the rules....who knew?). They waited patiently while I obtained permission to let them park there for an hour. Then they went right to work. Alex uncovered a bad problem with a disconnected hose behind the drier. It was not venting outside, but spitting all the lint onto the floor behind and under my drier. He installed a new hose, providing a better quality, fireproof hose. He did a very good job, particularly because he had to remove cupboards to allow him the space to move the machine, and he had to squeeze behind the machine in a very tiny space in a very tiny closet. They cleaned up before leaving, but did not do as good a job as I would have liked. There were black scuff marks on the floor and bits of debris from the cleaning process, and tracks where they moved the drier across the floor tiles. They did not use a drop cloth to protect my floors, although I asked them for one. They did use extra care dragging equipment around to avoid damage since they had no drop cloth.

Good luck getting this guy to call back and when he does he didn't even show up for the appointment.

That was OK. I'm not sure if I would refer them. The pricing was OK. The problem was my bathroom was kind of small. It was a misunderstanding on my part. I thought it was a grout cleaning, and they just did a tile cleaning. We could have done it.

I called twice when they didn't show up for their appointment. I never received a call back. I sat around all afternoon waiting and they never showed up.

This was the first time I've had the dryer vent cleaned since I bought the house ten years ago. I was amazed that there wasn't more lent in the vent. Alex Hernandez commented that this was probably because I made a real effort to clean the vent trip after each load in the dryer. To clean the vent from the outside, he inserted a long wire with prongs on each side then turned on what looked like a battery powered drill. He cleaned the vent several times to make sure that it was thoroughly clean.. He then commented that I did not have a way of closing off the vent from outside when not in use and suggested a cover for it to keep away unwanted critters. He took the time to go to Home Depot to find an appropriate cage. He then installed it. I was very pleased with his creativity and the time he took to make sure that the small cover was installed properly. We then discussed the necessity of keeping the vent clean due to the ever present possibility of fires. Before leaving, he returned to the inside of the house to make sure that there were no problems with the vent hood. I was more than satisfied with the service I received from this company and will not hesitate to use them again.

I didn't like it. They were late in responding to me and once they responded they came late and when they came they did absolutely minimal work. They didn't even keep track of what they were suppose to be doing. I didn't spend any more than the cost of the deal but I didn't get my money worth because he only spent 10 minutes in my house. He only vacuumed the bottom of my chimney.

Alex arrived on time and was very organized. Took 1-1/2 hours to clean duct vents. After he left, two of my vent covers FELL OFF THE CEILING, and another vent cover had a screw that dislodged and fell on my computer table. Luckily nothing was damaged. I am going to have to hire a Handyman to reinstall the vent covers as I have a physical disability and cannot do that myself. Also, there were dirty marks around the vents but I was able to clean those myself.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It was okay. It was fine. They couldn't do what I wanted them to do but that's not their fault. It was okay. Apparently this deal was limited with the scope. They said they would try but didn't know if they could. I really don't want to complain about them, they told me up front that they didn't know if they could do it. The scope of what the deal encompassed was maybe not going to include what I wanted. So just had them do the grout cleaning in the floor and they said they would try to get it out but they didn't. I really wouldn't want to complain about that quite honestly. They came out within a few days of when I called them. Whenever I called them they were very able to accommodate me as far as time.

He did a very good job and I was very happy with it. He was very professional, very timely, came when he said he was going to, called the aids when to say when he was coming in. Nothing negative at all.

The technician arrived on time, worked quickly, and did a thorough job. However, there were some areas that he couldn't reach as he didn't have the necessary equipment, and we did have to do a bit of clean up after he finished the job.

The serviceman called on the day of service to let me know his approximate arrival time which was within the time frame scheduled and arrived when expected. The dryer had to be moved of course and he took great care to use the masonite sheet I provided to protect the floor. He cleaned the lines thoroughly from the dryer to the exterior of the house and then rechecked everything. I was more than satisfied with the results and his professionalism.

The provider showed up to do a chimney cleaning. When he walked in he asked me which coupon I had and when I told him he said they would charge me $30 more than the coupon, because I have a masonry chimney. Then he said, I actually have two chimneys so he wanted to double the price. I resisted the up sell and he said, I didn't have to use the service and left.

Alex was friendly, but I was surprised that the business isn't a chimney sweep company. His flashlight didn't work consistently & I didn't feel assured that the inspection was thorough. At the beginning he told me I needed a chimney cap & that would be about $200.

I purchased the service on line and gave the provider several dates in Oct when I would be available. He never e-mailed me back. I again e-mailed him with my cell phone # and some additional dates. I did not get a return call. I finally contacted him by phone and gave him a date in Nov when I would be available in late afternoon. He could only give me a 4 hour window noon to 4 PM that someone would be there. That is poor customer service. I told him I was requesting my money back. He really didn't seem to care.
