This was the worst experience i have had with a Big Deal. The coupon was for a new Glacier Bay dual-flush toilet installed and the old toilet removed for $199. The Big Deal announcement stated that to get more than one toilet one needed to buy another coupon. However, when I tried to buy two coupons it turned out it could not be done. When I spoke to the company on the phone they told me I could get the second toilet for $230, which was o.k. with me. The technician arrived on schedule, installed one toilet, and had almost finished the second installation when I realized that the toilets he was putting in were not the ones the coupon specified, but a very inferior model -- not Glacier Bay and not dual flush. When I called the company, the person I spoke with offered to reduce the price, but I had bought the offer specifically because I wanted dual-flush. I insisted that they exchange the toilets for the ones I had bought. At this point it was discovered that there was a leak in a pipe behind one of the toilets and that it needed to be replaced to the tune of $180. The following day the technician returned and switched out the toilets. The clean-up was close to non-existent, and my floorsl were filthy with black gunk and footprints. The following day -- Saturday -- I discovered a puddle of white liquid around the base of one of the toilets. I called the company again, and they suggested I not use the toilet until Monday, when they would send someone out. As I was recovering from surgery and needed a toilet close to my bedroom, I again insisted. The technician arrived and discovered that there was a crack in the tank of the brand-new toilet. He replaced the tank, and at this point things seem to be okay. However, the company did absolutely nothing to try to make up for the inconvenience and frustration of its errors. I definitely would not use this firm again.

It went well. We originally thought they would be cleaning our bathroom, but it was our mistake. Alex went ahead and demonstrated anyway should we want it in the future. He was very courteous.

I had neglected to see that there was an additional charge of $30 for masonry chimneys so had to pay that unexpectedly. I had purchased this 'deal' before Christmas but was unable to get anything scheduled until late January. I think this company is too far away from central / south San Diego County as scheduling was big problem and I would not use them again for that reason.

I am very disappointed with the service. In October I bought a big deal of Dryer Vent cleaning. The technician came and cleaned the dryer vent. After that the dryer still wouldn't work. I thought it was my dryer's problem so went ahead and bought a new one, only to find out that it's still the dryer vent issue. I called them again and another technician came and took a look. He told me that the vent is still clogged, and he would need to come back with some tools for that job, and since it's almost Christmas, he would call us back after holiday season. He didn't call back. We called the company again and the owner said he would call us back to finish the job. Nobody called back. It's end of Feb now, and we still don't have the dryer vent working. We had to disconnect the vent, and every time we run the dryer the smoke alarm would trip off, and all these moisture is doing damage to our cabinets in the laundry room. Not to mention the cost of the new dryer.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal (a $125 value for $69) for cleaning out my dryer vent. As agreed ahead of time, Miguel called about 30 minutes before he arrived. He was professional and efficient and cleaned up well after the job which was completed in about 30 minutes. When Miguel pulled the dryer away from the wall, he pointed out all the lint that had accumulated behind the dryer and explained it was due to a leaky hose. He proposed to replace the hose, and I agreed. However, the new hosing (about 4 feet) was charged at $30. I've sinced looked up the price of the hosing online and see that what looks like the same hosing costs less than $10 for 8 feet. Since the value of the Big Deal was $125, which I assume would cover about 30 minutes of labor, and the real cost of the hosing is probably less than $30, I've given the price rating a "C".
