Scheduling was done quickly; they were out within a few days. They were fantastic. They were very reliable, clean and efficient.

It was fine. They just did the cleaning part and they didn't tell me more about my chimney. I would have appreciated if somebody was knowledgeable about that and give me some information.

We experienced a fire in our dryer due ti a blocked vent. As good luck would have it, we found a special on Angie's List for a compoany specializing in vent cleaning. We called, our appointment was scheduled within a few days, and was completed timely.

Very nice man. Did a good job getting the gunk out of the chimney and cleaned up beautifully afterwards.

I called them twice and left a message and they have never called back. Angie's List needs to refund my money!

After several attempts, I wasn't able to schedule an appointment with this service provider. I have lost confidence in their ability to perform the requested services to my satisfaction.

He said everything looked good after looking up the chimney with a small flashlight. I asked him he thought my grate was OK and he said it was fine. I did need a spark arrestor and he told me he could install one & gave me his own phone # to call him when I would like him to return and install it. |After he left I spent over an hour cleaning up the fine black dust left on my floor, hearth, and newly painted mantel. |I used a highly recommended provider to install the spark arrestor - a PROFESSIONAL chimney sweep. This other company actually inspected my chimney and fireplace. My chimney had multiple cracks in it which were visible to the naked eye. Had I not called this other provider to service my fireplace, I'd be facing thousands of dollars in additional repairs to rebuild my chimney & fireplace.

After going back on Angie's List site and carefully reading the reviews for this company, I decided not to follow through with the Deal. I just had new carpet installed and do not want to risk anything happening to it. I will find someone else to do the job on my kitchen floor.

The service did not turn out too well. The first time they came out, the machine was not working. They tried cleaning the floor by hand. The work was unacceptable, so I had them come back out. This time they had their machine, and tried their best but the tile did not get as clean as it should have.

NO SHOW combined with POOR SERVICE!! I purchased the deal on 2/10, called to schedule an appointment on 2/11 in the morning and no one answered. My call was returned on 2/12 by Alex. Appointment was set for 2/19 between 8am-12pm, as that was their earliest. I took a half day off of work to wait for them. I got a call a little after 9am from Alex. He said the truck broke down and they can't do my appointment until 2/26. I told Alex that I needed this done ASAP, as my renters were expecting this done this week. He said he would call me back in a couple hours to see what he could do. HE DID NOT CALL BACK. I called him around 3pm, and he called back and said there is nothing he could do. I read another review where their "truck broke down". What kind of service contractors is Angie's List offering? They have a "B" rating, mainly because the "F"s they are receiving do not carry as much weight (which is not a smart rating system). If they perform the service and do a bad job, the "F" are weighted heavier than if they flake altogether and receive a "F" for not showing up. I would rather pay the $120 to a reputable company than a company with this type of reputation.

Do not purchase Sky Blue Restoration's carpet cleaning deal if you own a pet, have more than 2 people living in your home or it has been more than 3 months since your carpets were last cleaned. Read my review first. On Monday, Miguel arrived within the time frame. He walked through my home with me as I explained where I wanted him to clean. At that time I found him brusk and defensive. He forcefully stated that he would not move heavy furniture when what I actually said was I wanted him to clean under the bed, as far as the equipment would go. He did not take advantage of an up-sell opportunity when I said I wanted the cat smell removed from my carpet (more on that further in this review). While setting up his truck and equipment in my driveway he had a loud, heated conversation on his cell phone. He appeared to be angry when he came back into my home (not that he appeared happy to begin with) and got to work cleaning my 500 sq. ft. of carpet. He did not respond to my questions, reluctantly stopped to talk to me when I pointed to things I wanted done. 20 minutes later he was done. As he was packing up he told me, while not making eye contact but, instead, with his back to me while walking away, to complete a review of his work. He did not tell me where he sat the review nor did he respond when I asked him where it was; I found it on the ground. I left my home for 7 hours to give the carpet a chance to dry. When I returned I immediately noticed the cat smell. He also had not moved the 2 pieces of light furniture I wanted moved (I had moved all other light furniture plus the couch into the kitchen). He left the master bedroom carpet so wet that it was still damp 18 hours later. After an attempted conversation with Jorge (George), I consider myself lucky that I did not pay them more than the $77 I paid for this cleaning "deal". Tuesday, I called Sky Blue Restorations using one of their listed numbers. Jorge asked for my name then interrupted me to tell me I called the wrong number, that I had called the "emergency" number. I was to call Miguel using the number on the voucher. My response to Jorge, "You mean the voucher I gave him? This is the number listed on the magnetic business card he gave me." He said he did not have Miguel's number, asked me to tell him why I called then proceeded to interrupt me before I finished a sentence. He asked questions then would not let me answer. He said that because I did not have Miguel remove the pet stains and odors from my "heavily soiled" carpet I "damaged" my carpets. (I live alone and my carpets are cleaned every 6 months.) He was not interested in working to resolve my concerns, stated he could not tell me why my carpet was left so wet until he could see it but I needed to make an appointment before he could come out and none were available until the following week. It did not appear he wanted to work with me even when I requested an appointment for someone to come by and give me an estimate on removing the cat odor from my carpets. He said he did not care what I wrote in a review because he had so many positive reviews to counter this. He said he would call me back Wednesday but he never called. I called him that day and the next, leaving a message with name and number both days, but have not yet received a call back, it has now been a week. From what he said about the work needed to remove the odor, it is obvious that he has the knowledge and skill necessary to do the job; what he does not have is the professional attitude to keep a new client. His attitude is that I am entirely at fault because I did not read the deal and fine print on the deal. I have had the same carpet cleaner clean my carpets every 6 months since I moved here. He is no longer available so I am looking for a new carpet cleaner. I know the carpets smell of cats which is why I wanted Miguel to do extra work to remove the smell. I guess my experience with "deep extraction" and "deodorizing" are different from what Sky Blue has to offer. Finally, I wonder if Sky Blue really wants to do business with clients in northwest Orange County. It was very difficult to book the service. Jorge was reluctant to come to an area where there were few other clients saying they have clients in south Orange County and in Los Angeles but not where I live, even though I am just 3.5 miles from the 405/22 interchange. Jorge, even though you did not explicitly say it, I heard you--you do not want to do business with me. I will look for a more professional carpet cleaner.

I had to call several times to set up an appointment and finally got a callback from Jonathan on Jan 7 apologizing for the lack of contact and promising great service going forward. They were scheduled to perform the service today, Jan 25 between 8-12 & I have not heard from them & it is 12:00. Alex called at 12:10 & said he called & left a message at 11 but there were no messages on my phone and I was home. Due to all the other issues I told him I did not want to use his services.

I wouldn't use them again. It took them forever to get here, there was a lot of confusion, and they did what they were supposed to do, but I was just not happy with the lack of communication. I wanted it done by Christmas, and it was just 2 or 3 weeks ago that they did it. The work I guess is okay. They did what they were supposed to do. I talked to 2 or 3 people on the phone, and they were speaking English as a second language, and so it was difficult for me to understand, and sometimes I wondered if I was being understood. I was called by Angie's List and given a phone number, and when I called the number, they said they couldn't come out until January.

The service person called ahead of time and was able to finish the work in time.

They were very clean and quick. We were pleased with the service.

George did a great job and was very professional.

Shortly after starting job and prepping carpet with a solvent of some sort, a water line broke on the machine. Strong odor as a result. He had just started cleaning one room. Tech stated he would return the next day in the morning but never showed. I called him in the afternoon and left a message but never heard back. Sat home for 2 days plus moved furniture on both days as well all for nothing. Very unprofessional.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did their job. They did the job for the price of the Big Deal.

The deal claimed that the round toilet bowl would be installed. As an upgrade, an oval toilet could be installed at an extra charge. The service provider said they could not upgrade for an extra charge, but I could provide my own toilet. However, the deal includes a toilet so this seems like a bad value for me to have to pay for the whole toilet again.

Very Good, can't beat the price & very good service. Was on time and was very happy with the sevice. Told all my friends about them & will use them again when needed.

I was very disappointed by this service. They performed the work but were careless in preparing the area so they damaged my new wood floor molding that meets the tile. This is very costly to repair and all they could do was say sorry. No paperwork or receipt was provided for the service so I have no recourse. Stay away from sky blue. The labor performed did not make any difference in the cleanliness of the tiles or grout. They look exactly the same. They just made a quick $150 off of me. Also...They forgot about the appointment and were late when I called them to remind them. Terrible experience, why are these people even on angie's list? Isn't the purpose of al to prevent situations like this from happening?
