The experience worked out good. They came out as scheduled. It was a little hard to get a hold of them. The work looked good, but I had to go and clean up in the corners a little bit. The price was excellent.

It was a terrible experience. He looked up the chimney and turned on the fireplace. He said that it was fine, my husband gave him a check and he left. I would not use him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were fine. The gentleman that came was professional and on time. It was a good service and well worth the money. He made sure that we were happy with the service before he left. There were no additional charges. We would recommend them.

All went well - person who came was very professional. Worker (sorry forget his name) was helpful, thorough and took his time to clean out the dryer vent.

The service provider was polite on the phone. First appointment time passed, we had to call to find out they were not coming after making an appointment two weeks in advance. Waited another two weeks and they called the day before to cancel due to rain, although the work being performed was inside the home - the provider simply did not want to drive to our location due to rain. This provider is not reliable and I would not consider using them for any service at this point.

I was very pleased. I had a very good experience. They were very conscientious, nice, and clean. I really appreciated that and will considering doing regular maintenance with them.

I would rate the experience at a D. They honored the $200.00 for a new toilet installed coupon. However, they arrived late and gouged me to the tune of $450.00 per hour for twenty minutes (more like fifteen minutes) of extra work. The extra charge was $180.00 to provide and install a shut-off valve. The lowest price for the valve I could find on the internet (after the fact of course), was 25.00. A 5.00 markup on the part seems reasonable making the cost of the part 30.00. So, I'm going to assume I was charged 150.00 for 20 minute of work which works out to 450/hour (150*3). The work roughly involved shutting off of the water main, unscrewing the old shutoff valve and replacing it with a new one. The installer (M) got the man in charge (Alex, I had spoken with him while setting up the appointment) on the phone because I had complained that the charge seemed high. It sounded like I called him while he was eating a snack or something; I was slightly offended but was more ticked off about the gouging. His defense was that the installers were able to charge what they like for labor. So the conclusion to draw from that is that this company sub-contracts out its work and it is a free for all for the installers. He also wanted the check made out to an entity other than Sky Blue Restoration the company I contracted with. This person was someone who's first name was George. I'm not sure what that was all about but I made the check out Sky Blue Restoration anyways and waited until they cashed it before writing this review. Also, the only paperwork that happened that day was my writing out a check to BSR. The installers did call to tell me that they would be 2.5 to 3 hours later than the time window that they were scheduled for (they arrived 3.5 hours later) and the work appears to have been competently done; that is the toilet works and there are no leaks. However, should there be a problem, I have no written guarantee and the whole experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't really want them back here. So, the take away is: 1. Be wary of this company, you've got to be on your toes unlike me 2. For this type of installation check underneath the shut off valve for any water BEFORE anyone arrives. I hadn't notice any leak in day to day usage but it was plausible. 3. In general, if it seems like a really good deal, be even more alert.

Miguel was great, however, there was no pre vacuum and no pre spot treatment. I had to pay another $60.00 for the pre spot treatment.

Moses did an excellent job and worked very hard. The person who came came out was thorough and explained everything very well.

We didn’t know what all was wrong and they took care of it. It was good. We thought the guy they sent out was great! I want to thank the company for superior work.

Scheduling was prompt. The service was ok. They inspected the fireplace, took pictures of what they wanted to fix and then provided me with a quote of about $850 for work they said needed to be done.

The person who was supposed to clean my carpets told me he could not reach beyond 250 yards. The cleaning apparatus was attached to his truck. Since I lived in a third story apartment, there was no possible way he could reach my apartment. This guy was very polite and helpful, but the owner was not.

Alex was very professional and helpful.

He arrived on time when he stated he would. He was clean with instructions on what he was doing.

He did a great job and adjusted the gas fireplace logs so they look great and work more efficiently.

Just supposed to clean the vent but our old rigid metal vent had a dent in it. Technician suggetsed replacing the old vent conduit with a flexible one. He then replaced it for the original big deal price. Much better situation. Thanks for the great suggestion and doing it for the same price.

Very prompt, professional and friendly. Full disclosure of what the job will entail. My hose under the house got disconnected from the outside vent and all the lint (at least 5 years worth) had been collecting in the crawlspace. They told me step by step what the job will entail, took out the old hose, replaced it and reconnected to the outside vent, collected a 20 gallon garbage bag worth of lint, all in less than 3 hours. My heroes.

This was my first time actually using Angie's List, and will probably be my last. Overall, not a good experience.

We got them to clean and refinish the grout on our bathroom floor, but they said that the big deal was for the kitchen. I checked the big deal, but I didn't see that fine print anywhere. They were punctual, and they did their job. The interaction with them was fine.

Scheduling was done quickly; they were out within a few days. They were fantastic. They were very reliable, clean and efficient.
