Description of Work: the young man was courteous but i don't know3 how much experiencee he had;he missed 2 vents which i did not discover until he had left but i has to go to work and didn't bother to call them back about it. h can't remember if i furnished the shoe covers or if he brought his own,but this is a must for any repairmen i feel.

Description of Work: I CALLED THIS COMPANY ON FRIDAY JAN 4 AND I WAS SOOOOOOO EXCITED TO GET A APP ON MONDAY HOWEVER, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP NOR DID THEY CALL. I SAT AT HOME FOR 4 HOURS WAITING ON THEM AT THE FINAL MINUTED OF THE APP, I MADE A CALL TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE COMING AND JORGE, PRETENDED HE DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT UNIT NUMBER AND STATED THEY BAKNOCKED ON ALL OF THE UNITS IN THE COMPLEX.. FUNNY WE HAVE DOORBELLS. I THEN ASKED HIM WHY DIDN'T HE CALL, HE STATED PHONE WAS BUSY ALL MORNING... I'VE HAD MY CELL NUMBER FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND NEVER BEEN TOLD THE LINE HAS BEEN BUSY; USUALLY IT WOULD GO TO VOICEMAIL...SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE THATS DEPENDABLE......

Description of Work: Had them out to clean and make sure our gas fireplace was working properly - hadn't been used in 5 years. Communicated well regarding appointment timing and did exactly what we were looking for.

Description of Work: We contracted for chimney sweep on Angies list- excellent. The sweep noted the spark arrester was missing - he had some on his truck - cost $150 for arrester $50 labor. I wanted to get the chimney finished so I agreed. I found out later the arrester is $63 . But if I had somebody come out it could have cost more with trip and labor so I'm happy, just unhappy with the inflated charge. . I had a second chimney dine at the same date - it was excellent

Description of Work: First he arrived without calling before his arrival which he had said he would do. He was annoyed that I watched him while cleaning out my dryer exhaust pipe which involved putting a swirling brush and a vacuume hose into the exhaust pipe. The vacuume hose was too short so he taped an extension onto the hose. He was not going to clean out the flexible exhuast hose from the dryer to the wall but I insisted he do it. He claimed he could clean the whole system out from where it exited the house. Two hours after he left, after I had put the dryer on for an hour, I went outside and noticed a huge pile of lint that had fallen out of the newly "cleaned" exhaust pipe.The grate that was supposed to be on the end of the exhaust pipe was gone. When I called him and told him to return, clean up the mess and put on a new grate, he told me he could come 24 hours later and I could go to the hardware store and get a new grate. A completely incompetent serviceman and a wasted half day off from work for me. AVOID using this man at any cost.

Description of Work: Two workers came out to do the chimney sweeping. They called ahead and were on time. They informed me that I would need to pay an extra $30 because my chimney was masonry (it was in the fine print somewhere). They then used the brushes and vacuum to clean the chimney. It seemed they were done in about 5 minutes, which surprised me. They cleaned everthing up nicely. We asked about why the chimney tends to send smoke into the room when we first light the fire and they didn't really have a good answer. Service was okay but I felt a little disappointed. It seemed they knew about cleaning a chimney but not that much about how a fireplace works.

Description of Work: Had a problem getting an appointment and then was unable to keep appointment. He called about 15 min after latest time and said he was sorry. Rescheduled and then had an efficient spotless chimney sweep.

Description of Work: I used this company to sweep my chimney, which hadn't been cleaned in quite a long time. The representatives were nice and professional. They arrived when they said they would and they finished the job in about 1/2 hour. Their work appeared to be done in a clean fashion; however when I dusted the area a few days later I saw that there was a rather thick layer of soot on a black TV stand that was near the chimney. All in all it wasn't too bad and I would use them again next year.

Description of Work: Called to get chimney/gas fireplace cleaning safety check. Needed to have them this week since I was in town. Told me they could fit me in that day - which I did. They called before arriving, moved furniture (ok, didn't move it all back, but were very clean, professional and fast!)

Description of Work: An older and younger pair showed up at the beginning of the 4hr. window. They brought their two machines and hoses in and began right away. They did the job as advertized and were polite and effiicient. The whole process only took about one hour. Their equipment appeared well used but functional. I had some questions and they were answered. Tried to clean a couple of dirty vents. AT the end a fine mist was sprayed into the uptake vent to deodorize and what else I'm not sure. Do make vents accessible. Be ready to clean up any small pieces that fall when vents/registers are removed. Don't expect big brushes. The "agitator" is smaller in circumference than the ducts. Do expect an odor after mist is sent thru the system the is borderline acceptable.

Description of Work: I though the add was a little miss leading since I have one chimney with two flukes. In my mind it was 1 chimney but was charged for two.

Description of Work: Mike came as scheduled and his helper climbed on the roof as Mike brought in plastic to seal off the fireplace. They swept from above as a large vacuum sucked up all soot and dirt. They inspected to fireplace and chimney and were out in 45 minutes leaving nothing behind. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Description of Work: Dryer vent cleaning. The technician arrived on time and started the job. The shop vac that he used was missing the filter so as he cleaned and vacuumed the lint from my dryer vent it was spraying the dirt and dust all over my laundry room and hall. I yelled at him to stop, but the damage was already done. He called the owner and was told to come back to the shop and get a different vacuum. He came back the same afternoon to finish the job, but I spent 2 hours dusting, vacuuming and washing down walls and cupboards. The work was completed and the vent seems to be clean, but it was not a good experience.
