Description of Work: The vendor was on time and did a good job cleaning out my fireplace. A fine layer of dust was left on the surrounding surfaces. My coupon expired 2 days before the appointment and the vendor said that I needed to pay $99.00 the amount of the coupon and that I would be reimbursed by Angie's List.

Description of Work: Last contact with provider was 4/9/13 when he called to cancel for about the fourth time. So on four different occasions we anticipated the service by making room on our schedules and sometimes removing all items from the cabinets beneath the bathroom vanities before the provider would call to inform us that the appointment could not be kept. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: Routine Duct Cleaning Duct replacement biohazard cleaning We had Blue Sky come out to do a routine duct cleaning and thank goodness we did. We live in a canyon and rats had torn the ductwork and gotten into the system leaving their disgusting calling cards. So what started as a routine duct cleaning turned into a duct replacement and biohazard cleaning. I had no doubt this was needed...they used my friend's phone and took pictures. It was disgusting! The guys were terrific and cheerful and worked very, very hard. I had read some iffy reviews about Blue Sky but this was not my experience. They perhaps learned from other reviewers and changed their act. They were great and deserve a chance.

Description of Work: Vendor made an initial trip to perform the tile cleaining and sealing. When the person looked at the mold around the perimeter of the tile shower he said that wasn't covered and was a different service. There was a dispute about refunding the $99. After calling Angies List there was agreement the $99 would be refunded. I then discussed getting the mold removal done and eventually agreed to $189 to remove the grout, re-grout and seal the shower floor perimeter with mold resistant grout and sealer. The current mold impregnated sealant was removed and grout areas with mold were removed. I was told the shower needed to dry out for several days. After several phonecalls the return visit was scheduled about 10 days after the first visit with the shower out of commision in the interim. The worker showed up and in 20 min put in silicon sealant - no grout as originally discussed. After some argument I agreed to leave it that way if the shower was sealed. My alternative was to have him remove the just installed sealant and put in grout but because the grout would have to dry he did not agree to put in the silicon sealant. I then agreed to effectively cut my losses when he offered to put a water resistant sealer on the whole shower. That took 10 minutes to do and required 3 more days of the shower out of comission. I feel I way overpaid for 30 min of work. I also feel this contractor should not do work in San Diego. They are based in Orange County and wanted to base trips, particularly the return trip on the ability to schedule other jobs in the area. I would never use them again.

Description of Work: Terrible. Had a hard time scheduling then the first time and they cancelled at the last minute. Had a hard time rescheduling and they did show up but didn't stay because they said the machine was broken and they left. Haven't been able reach anyone after leaving them multiple voice mail messages.

Description of Work: The company's booking process is somewhat questionable. After securing the coupon, I contacted the company to make an appointment. About 2 weeks later, I received a phone call from a different person in the same company trying to schedule an appointment. When I explained that I already had an appointment scheduled already, the person checked the company calendar and didn't see my name listed. It seems like the people who work the phones aren't very organized and they don't know what each person is doing.

Description of Work: The worker who did the job was polite and professional. He cleaned my heater vents. I won't know how good a job he did because I have not used my furnance yet. Plus I can't see inside the vents. They came in the morning however I thought I asked for an afternoon appointment. Other than that everything went as I anticipated.

Description of Work: Nothing was accomplished. I don't know what's going on with the worker but the owner of the company called and wants to come and fix it himself for no charge so I don't want a bad name on the company as it was the worker's fault and apparently they've fired him. the Company is bending over backwards to make amends.

Description of Work: The guys came right away after I called to get my dryer vent cleaned with the special price. The two men were professional and quickly got to work and cleaned my vent. They showed me the lint retrieved and demonstrated the airflow after cleaning was completed. I was very happy with their service and will most definitely call them next time! Thank you Angie's List for a great referral, deal and job done!

Description of Work: The owner was very nice, Jorge Vilchis. He said that the service is for cleaning the natural stone and the grout. I was interested in the regrouting which does not include in the coupon. He said he got a lot of bad reputation since people missed understood the services.Including myself. Please properly refund my money. The credit card that I used was discontinued due to fraud. Do you need a new card number to refund my account? Please let me know right away.

Description of Work: I received no reply at all to set appt. to have work performed. I saw in reviews that several others had the same problem.

Description of Work: I called Blue Sky and made an appointment with them. the appointment was Made for Feburary thursday 21, between 9:00 and 12:00. When 12:00 came and went, I recived a call that they were responding to a emergency and was going to be around 1:00 and 2:00. At 2:30 I left to to something I needed to do and came back around 3:30. They never arrived and Blue Sky left a message saying that they couldn't make the appt. and that his car was broken down and he was still in Los Angeles. Still in Los Angeles, THE COMPANY LIED TO ME.

Description of Work: A very pleasant man with an accent answered the phone. Gave me the info about floor or kitchen tile restoration. Not mine, to clean my table. Thank you.
