Overall, it went well. Day one, the water was off for less than 5 hours. They cleaned up the mess by the end of the day very well. Day 2 was City inspection. Day 3 was patching the holes which also went well. Even re textured the popcorn ceiling. Excellent texture match. Just needed paint. Great job.

Below are our responses to the satisfaction survey. What impression did you have of Stevo Hines, the gentleman who estimated your job? Meh. I had an estimate done and it took us a couple of months to decide what we wanted to do; when I tried to contact him again I didn't get a response back. After a couple of attempts and a couple of weeks more I just asked for another quote. Again, Stevo came out and provided a quote for a different higher amount. We were able to begin work under the original amount quoted but then there were revisions that needed to be added that ended up making it even more than the second quote. Generally, his communication wasn't great and I feel like I got a bait and switch. How did the job go for you? Overall the work seems good. Was the job completed per the contract? After a revision which added nearly 40% to the total cost. How were you treated by the repipers? The crew was accommodating in getting in touch with us and overall did a good job. How were you treated by the patchers? Communication about when they would be out to finish patching wasn't very good. Generally I feel like the way I told it would look during the sale is different than what it does look like but I feel that is more due to being over promised. Is there anything else you think we should know? When a homeowner decides to undertake a major job such as a re-pipe, it is generally assumed it will be a complete job. To find out in the middle of the job that the drain lines aren't actually included in "whole house re-pipe" is incredibly frustrating. Based on your experience, would you recommend Repipe Specialists to others? Probably not, and if I did it would be with heavy caution. Home is 3bed/2bath with 1 bath on raised foundation and the other slab. They did replace the water heater at cost but that is in addition to the $8,000 we spent on the re-pipe.

Re-pipe specialist arrived for every appointment on time or early. They completed the job four days early. They were clean, professional, and very knowledgeable.

The sales rep walked us through the process, time schedules, and material options. The project manager on site was always helpful in explaining what they were doing and they made sure everything was clean after they were done. I would recommend them to others that have experienced water leaks in their homes.

The plumbing job went well and the job was done in one day, very nice plumbing work. The drywall crew arrived on Sat. morning, early, crew was nice and professional, but the quality of work was not good. Textures did not match and the ceiling patch was just horrible that we had to call them back to fix. The communication was terrible. Crew was scheduled to come back for the repair job on Tuesday, no show and no call until we contacted the crew chief, then had to chase them with calls to get them back out to our house to do the repair. We understand there are other jobs they have on the books, but a courtesy call to let us know they couldn't make it would be appreciated. My Husband and I took time off from work so we can get the repipe job done, and have contractors not show and no call, that is just rude! The repair job was ok, but still not as expected. Had high hopes, so bit disappointed. Update: From initial contact, to quote, then plumbing were all excellent. The low rating (C rating) is mainly due to terrible drywall job and lack of communication resulted in lost work days for both my husband and I. Suggestion to the service provider, keep a steady communication with customer and make sure when crew is scheduled to be at job site that they are actually there and don't just wait for customers to chase with calls!

August 8, 2016 Over the last few months we obtained a few bids to repipe our home. We were pretty much set on a company and just wanted one more bid to make sure we were getting the best workmanship and price for what we needed. We were impressed that Repipe Specialists have been in business for over 20 years. I called Repipe Specialists on Friday afternoon to see if we could have someone come out sometime the following week. I spoke to Carolyn in the office. Carolyn called me back later that day to schedule the appointment for Monday. She said she would send me an email to confirm the appointment date and time along with the name and a photo of the estimator, John. As promised the email arrived that afternoon. Monday John arrived on time, introduced himself and did a walkthrough with us of the interior and exterior of the house. John explained in detail what was involved in the repipe process and the differences between the copper repipe material and the PEX piping. John wrote us a detailed estimate showing us what work would be completed, including the patching of the walls, the differences between the copper and PEX materials and answered all of our questions. We made our decision to use Repipe Specialist based on the longevity of the company, the detailed information John provided about the process, the value for the work to be done and the lifetime warranty. We were contacted later that week to arrange the repipe appointment. The repipers arrived on time, the crew and supervisor were very pleasant, answered all of our questions, completed the repiping per the contract in one day. The city inspection was ordered for the next day. The patchers arrived on time the next day, prepping the areas for patching and waited for the inspector. Once the inspector approved and signed off on the permit for the repipe work the patchers completed the interior patching. The patchers came back on Saturday to complete the patching on the outside. Terrific! Everything was great - from the initial contact and meeting with the sales guy, the repiping job itself, drywall repair and plumbing. Very professional service and approach - large, knowledgeable crew that knew they jobs! They were not the least expensive bid (I had four), nor the most expensive, and I'm glad I chose them. After the job, one of our bathrooms sinks had low hot water pressure (perhaps some debris in the line) - spoke with Greg and he had the plumber come over within two hours, and fixed the problem. Great job and customer service!

From the initial contact with Stevo Hines, everything went beautifully. Stevo explained the process to us and discussed, at length, the pros and cons of copper versus plastic piping. He let us know what to expect, and was very knowledgeable and helpful. The workmen arrived on time and set to work. They did a wonderful job, and were very good about cleaning up after themselves. It was necessary to replace the faucets and shower plate in both bathrooms; the man in charge bought replacements and explained in detail how they worked. After the initial repiping was done, the plasterers came in to repair the damage to the walls/ceiling/ They did a wonderful job, even matching the texture of the exterior stucco work, to the extent that you could not tell it was not original. We were very pleased with the professionalism and efficiency displayed by everyone at Repipe Specialists. Gary Leigh did a wonderful job of coordinating and overseeing the work.

The best contractor we've ever hired. The sale person was professional, and answered all of our concerns. Both repiping crew and wall platter crew (5 men in each crew) were on time, professional and performed quality works. They were efficient and clean after themselves very well. We wish we had found this kind of quality contractor for all other renovation projects in our house. We also asked for quotes from two other contractors. In the end, their plan and prices weren't as good and competitive as Repipe Specialist. If you'd like to repipe your house, look no further. These people repipe houses every day (yeah, literally), so they know what's they doing.

I have to say I think they are sleazy. I have feedback from just about anyone who has seen their work and that includes an inspector to the city. They would come back and fix things if I would ask them, but the cement they fixed outside looks awful, to telling me they did not wrap the pipes outside. The guy said in a year there won't be any wrapping and there won't be any insulation so it does not really matter that much. He kind of brushed it aside, but even the inspector said he should have wrapped with wire. There were just a lot of little things. They cut into the outside molding to put the pipe in, but then that molding is now exposed to the elements where the cuts were. That is something I would not have even known. The problems I had had to be pointed out by other workers, such as the carpenter, painter or inspector because I would never hade recognized them. They did the job, but I would never use them again or recommend them for those reasons.

Just let you know, my house build 1989, I got so much problem water leaked under my concrete slap, repaired many times, water leaked from one spots to another. I had to turn on or off water shut off valve every night, before I goes sleep, this was bad the sound, I got so much frustration about the water leaked and decided to call Repipe Specialties, even so it cost me a lot of Money's to get the job completed, but it worth every penny's. Repipe Specialists got all professional personnel, they gave me very kinds and warm services, from front desk to Estimate ( John Oscarson) and worker crew, I am so happy to make a right choice to use Repipe Specialists. Repipe Specialists are terrific! They completed the work faster than expected, and did such a professional job that the city inspector was impressed and complemented their work. They carefully explained the process, their crew was extremely polite and helpful, and they cleaned up after completion. I’ve already recommended Repipe Specialists to a neighbor who also had a great experience.

After our fourth slab leak we decided that we would have to re pipe. Once the water damage was re-mediated, Repipe Specialists installed PEX throughout our entire two story home, replaced shower faucets, relocated outside faucets and patched and repaired the drywall including several walls and ceiling areas that had to be opened up because of the flood damage. The work was completed within three days and the drywall patching was so well done that we couldn't determine where the holes had been. We were very satisfied with the work performed and highly recommend this company.

Super professional and efficient !!! Started with the salesperson, Rafael Gonzalez, who knew the business well and was very honest. He explained to me in great details of how/what/where/when to do the job. Their price was very reasonable The project manager went through every details with me before started the work. They minimized the "damage" and made the "recovery" easier afterward. The preparation were done thoroughly, plastic sheets covered all the areas The "PEX" pipes were heavy gauge material The workmanship, particularly all the joints, were inspected and approved by city permitting inspector Wall patching and re-texturing were good Thy are efficient - a large team of about 10 on the job, they finished the prep/cutting/repiping in a day. After the city inspection, they took another day to patch up the drywall and re-texture. Whole job was completed in three days. The only concern is that the final clean-up work is not perfect. They left some debris and dust behind.

Our project went really well, from estimate to completion, this organiation is responsive and good on follow-up. For every question we had during and after the job was completed, they were ready with information. Their workers do well together, and the lead foreman was very helpful with information and giving us timelines. After the repiping took place (2 days) the patching team came in and put everything back together. They were just as courteous and professional as the installers. They even took care of removing some old pipes coming up through concrete that were no longer in use. After everyone was gone, their administrative staff took care of making sure that the building inspector came back out to sign off, and we received our signed copy of the Building and safety report. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking to replace pipes.

There was a team of 4 people that showed up around 8:30 am. One person went under the house, one in the bathroom, one in the kitchen and one stayed outside to work on external plumbing. They were able to replace all the plumbing in only six hours, which I wouldn't have thought possible. I counted 17 pipes that had to be run up inside walls. On the second day the building inspector showed up and passed the plumbing inspection. There was an issue with electrical grounding but that was not their responsibility. I resolved that myself. On the third day a guy showed up to patch all the holes in the walls, including some stucco patching outside the kitchen. There were no leaks or any problems.

We liked them. It was great, no complaints.

The initial consultation was good. The sales reps were very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. The do put on a little bit of a show trying to make you feel like you are getting a discount and but all in all it's a good consult. So the day of the repipe they showed up and repiped the house in about a half a day. That first part of the process went fine. The next day when the plasterer came out, the inspector came and said they installed the wrong size pipe! The plasterer had to stop and we had to reschedule another repipe! We had to take another day off work and they came out repiped again and finally the inspection was approved they day after that. The plasterer finished up the next day and I called to ask if a final inspection needed to be made. They surprisingly didn't know the answer to that question, but as it turns out a final inspection was needed. Then a week after the repipe I noticed in our second bathroom that the plasterer didn't plaster a big hole in the wall that was in the shower. He obviously didn't notice it and neither did I. But one of the flaws of their system is that they send the plasterer out and they rely on us to tell him where the holes are in the wall. Since we didn't make the holes, I think that's not efficient. The plumbers and the plasterer need to communicate with each other about where the holes were made to prevent this kind of problem Secondly they send the inspectors for the plumbing out to interface with the plasterer, who knows nothing about the repipe. He can't answer any questions and is in the dark. So the inspection process is a bit slow and cumbersome, and obviously there is no communication between the plumbers and the plasterer. Once I noticed the hole in the wall I called repipe specialists and they informed me that they will send someone out once they have someone in the area. Over 2 weeks pass and I call again and was told they would come out tomorrow. Did not happen, then I called again and they finally sent someone out the same day to finish the job. I'm lucky I have a flexible job because their haphazard last-minute scheduling is challenging, I don't know what I would do if I couldn't take time off quickly. So we were told the job would take 2-3 days. But with the TWO repipes, and missed hole in the wall It took about a month before it was all done. I asked for a discount in the price because of the inconvenience considering we had to take days of work, daycare the pets and everything for them to work; but they wouldn't budge. They said the already lost money on the job, which was obvious, but they should have more concerned with keeping a customer and a referral base. Pretty much once they have your money, it's over. So I would not recommend them at all. It was a terrible experience.

We had a slab leak and were faced with the option of rerouting the line or performing a repipe, which we decided to do given our home is almost 30 years old. After doing my research (Angie's List, BBB, YELP, and the many testimonials on the website) I decided to call Repipe Specialists and I'm sure glad I did. I have to say that this was one time where my actual experience was completely consistent with everything I had read. Beginning with the free estimate by John (who was amazing) and through the actual work and drywall repair, I am still in disbelief as to how such a major home repair could be performed so flawlessly. Job was completed within three days from start to finish, and the icing on the cake was the visit from the City Inspector who said, and I quote: "This is the nicest and cleanest repipe I have ever seen." Our repipe was surprisingly affordable, and the lifetime warranty is transferable to the new owners should we ever decide to sell our home. So believe the reviews, believe the testimonials, and believe the ratings, Repipe Specialists truly turned a very stressful situation into the most impressive home repair experience we've ever had.

Excellent. The entire house was complete in less than a week. This included inspections. These guys have a system that runs like a well made watch. Quality products used throughout the house and when they were finished, you couldn't even tell any work was performed as they did the drywall repair and paint prep. As an example, the drywall work on the ceiling was so good, it didn't even look like it needed painting. I highly recommend this company.

Rafael came out and explained the process very well and gave estimates. I had two estimates and choose this one due to Rafael's ability to give better details on the work. We set a date a couple of weeks out as that week worked for me as we had no conflicting scheduling to work around. On Monday the 7th, a crew arrived with Mike (crew leader) - we walked around and looked at the areas that needed to be cleared of 'stuff' - it is more than on the sheets they give you. In addition to shelves near the pipes, I needed to remove some items I had on shelves as the pipe repairs cause vibrations that may know things off shelves and walls. Not an issue, as it was fast for me to take down. Just be aware that you will pack away LOTS of stuff - reason to clean out things you do not use? They started the house at 8 AM and finished about 6 PM. The crew worked fast and kept the areas as clean as possible - cleaned up before they left. They added a new water line direct to the ice maker on the refrigerator. The utility sink and washer are now two separate intake lines instead of washer coming off the sink intake. On Tuesday, the city inspector came by and was OK with everything. On Wednesday the 9th, the drywall workers came and patched and plastered all the holes. Arrived about 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Again they worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. I had to have one small issue fixed - some pipe tubing under one sink prevented a drawer from closing and they sent someone to fix - took about 5 minutes. I am very happy with the results - I am still working on repainting the areas that were repaired. But having water pressure again is so nice.

The sales person was very knowledgeable, punctual, and helpful. We were able to conclude the contract while I was on vacation. The technicians arrived on time and were very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I was impressed by how each technician knew exactly what to do; they divided the property and tasks and went at it. Previous estimates by others of 4 days took this crew 1 day to accomplish. We were back using our plumbing ~10-12 hours after they started. The foreman managed the inspection process and the job passed without incident. Follow up patching of holes in the walls and stucco were handled by an expert group with great expertise and skill. All of that being said, there was one problem: the plumbing crew were very open about not having the expertise connect new plumbing fixtures in one bathroom. We had purchased new plumbing fixtures and showed them to the sales person; he knew what was involved yet the onsite crew could not connect the balance and valves in one bathroom. The good news is that the onsite crew were very honest and open about what they could not do; the bad news is that we had to hire a plumber to finish the job. Fortunately we had a second bathroom and shower. My recommendation: if one is connecting to existing plumbing, then this is crew is great. For new plumbing fixtures, I'd get fixed guarantees about installation or withhold final payment until full costs are known.

The work came in a few parts: 1- Estimate: Clear and easy to deal with, good sales process 2- Pipe work: This crew did a good job on the actual pipe work. There was some water leaked into 1 wall, but was a reasonable repair and the pipe did not leak. Overall happy with the pipe work. 3- Inspection: Here is where the problems started, there were a couple items the inspector asked to be fixed about the installation, however the company did not come make the repairs before the re-inspection or drywall work. 1 repair was behind the wall (not a big deal), that was not done 4- Plaster repair: Total mess. The plaster crew did not patch well (visible patches everywhere), and more importantly there was overspray of the texture material on every surface of the house (tiles, shower doors, windows, blinds etc). Luckily there was no furniture - the damage would have been extensive. Overall the plumbing works well now, but the drywall and plaster repair was terrible.
