My house in Lake Forest was listed 3-6-2014 and closed 4-15-2014 which means the duration of the open listing was ONLY 39 DAYS! There were offers that came below what I offered but I was advised to hold steady on my asking price. I was nervous because it was differently a buyers market. I'm glad I took his advise because I received my total asking price. When it came to buying my new home in Mission Viejo, the total opposite happened. I didn't have to look long because again, Mark pulled a rabbit out of his hat! I found a place within 2 weeks of looking at some pretty run down places. He found a jewel and I went from depressed to ecstatic! The other rabbit he pulled out of his hat was that he got me a price $20K less than what was listed. Imagine that, asking price on my sell, a reduced price on my buy and 45 day escrows on both. I couldn't be more pleased. On another note, Mark had to work with the agent that represented the buyer on my listed house. To be nice, this agent was so green, that Mark had to constantly advise her how to do her job and spent countless house insuring that all the correct paperwork was signed and received before the loan documents were signed and when escrow closes. I won't go into how unprofessional she was. When my buyer settled in and had an open house, they invited my agent - Mark Lambert to the event, not his representative. AT THE SAME TIME, Mark also helped my daughter and her fiance purchase their first home which closed approximately the same time. Look for another outstanding recommendation and glowing remarks from them when they move in shortly. We had less than five days to find an apartment in Los Angeles and part of those five days was Thanksgiving Weekend; this was our only choice due to living out of state and having limited time off. We knew almost nothing about the specifics of Los Angeles neighborhoods and finding a rental there, but knew we had to just give it our best shot. We contacted Mark Lambert after seeing his excellent reviews on Angie's List and he really lives up to them! The area in which we were looking was out of his MLS range for rentals (70 miles away), but Mark was such a kind gentleman that he spent several hours on the phone with me giving me detailed breakdowns of the neighborhoods as to cost, safety reputation, atmosphere, age of buildings and tips on how locals find unadvertised rentals since we were working on our own. On top of that, he called us numerous times just to see how we were doing and if there was anything else he could do to help. We really appreciated that; in the midst of our crazy search, it made us feel that we had a friend in LA. He did this free of charge and without any hope of a commission, just being thoughtful! We feel service like that deserves recognition! And there's a happy ending to the story; we found a good apartment!

Every purchase went smoothly. Mark oversaw all the details of each purchase. He would oversee the opening of escrow to the closing of escrow and signing the loan documents. Mark was always very accessible by phone or email. He would always get back to in less than an hour and would call me with any updates on the progress of our purchase. No matter what issue came up Mark would easily handle it. My wife and I felt very comfortable and fortunate to have Mark handling our Real Estate affairs. We knew he has a vast knowledge of Real Estate experience and that we could rely on him. We used Mark as our buyers agent to purchase our first home. Mark was very honest and punctual throughout the home buying process. I met Mark Lambert in 1992 when he had an add in the paper if you are paying $900 a month in rent, you can own. At the time we were paying $1125, it peaked my interest and I called him. Since then, Mark has moved my family into a condominium for $1275 a month subsequently a house. It was the best move for our family and we ended up making bank when we ended up selling. Mainly, because Mark knows when to hold and when to get your house sold. His foresight into the real estate market is astounding. We ended up netting a $284K when we sold it in 1998. We bought our first house during this time and it totally suited our financial, and family needs. It took us a while to sell the condo because the real estate market was down due to the recession. In the meantime, Mark orchestrated the rental of our condo. He was with us when we interviewed the renters and helped us write the leases. I called him my bulldog, because there is a lot of people that want to falsely take advantage. It was beyond what I thought a real estate person could do. We have happily lived in our house since 1998, my family is grown and living their own lives. My husband has passed and It?s time for me to retire and move to a scaled down, retirement situation. Of course I called Mark once again to help. He?s very committed to seeing me settled and happy. For over 20 years Mark has watched over my family and has been paramount to our happiness. Seriously, I?m not kidding. He's so very helpful, puts up with my whims and my anxiety of the whole selling and buying thing. He discloses all the the facts honestly and with kindness.

We listed the condo with Mr. Lambert about 3 months ago. He is very responsive in terms of creating flyers for the unit. Having the unit inputted into the Multiple Listing Service and keeping in contact with my Mother and I on the demand for real estate in the neighborhood. Sales are a bit slow in my Mother's market and generally in California. As any homeowner we would like to get the home sold at the price we listed the home at and of course as quickly as possible. Mr. Lambert has been very honest with us and has advised us on two occasions not to lower the price. The home has been priced fairly and based upon the number of transactions taking place in the area along with his discussions with other Realtors in the area, the conclusion is to keep the price where it is. He could have suggested to lower to price to create more interest, however he declined to do so mainly because the facts remain that the home is priced fairly along with the fact that the home has had quite a bit of interest from buyers that are out looking for real estate. I never have to question Mr. Lambert's integrity in knowing that he has his clients best interest in mind. Whenever I need to contact him he is very responsive and returns calls and emails in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend that you consider Mark Lambert for all of your Real Estate needs.

It went very well. Mark was very detail oriented, answered all questions and negotiated a very good price. Mark looked out for my friend as if he were Marks own son. I was amazed at how well the transaction went and also surprised to find out that buying a home is really more that just writing a check. Mark sold my house in February 2013. I credit his expertise and experience at every step of the transaction. He ensured we attracted the optimal type of buyers and more so, guided us to select the final candidate. This ensured that we closed escrow in less than 30 days without any surprises or delays. He then helped negotiate a rent-back contract with new owner and this ensured that my family could continue reside in the residence while our new one was being constructed (he is also the buying agent on the new property, and I intend to use him for all my real estate dealings now and in future).

We are very picky, so buying our first home took some time, luckily Mark was very understanding and knew the market and how to negotiate with others very well. Mark Lambert was recommended to me by one of good friends who had used him as his Real Estate Agent back in 2002. In Jan 2002, Mark helped me find and purchase my first home. I was impressed by his honesty, truthfulness and attentiveness. He listened to what type of home and neighborhood I wanted and within three weeks, we found my perfect town home. Mark worked diligently to negotiate a fair price during a sellers market. Not knowing how the closing process worked, Mark was with me through every step of the process making sure the everything was accurate. During this time, Mark was busy with other clients with assisting them with the sale or purchase of their home. I was so impressed that as busy as he was, he still had time to assist me that I used him a few years later when I got married and decided we needed a bigger home. It was a wonderful experience. Mark is masterful in the way he handles difficult transactions. My probate was complicated and some personalities challenging. Mark's experience of 28 years allowed him the finesse to conclude our business in a timely manner. He went above and beyond the call of duty. I was in awe of his strategic and superior negotiation skills. Mark is personable, easy to talk to, and a great communicator, his advice always helpful. I had no problems understanding nor executing his instructions. I could call Mark any time, he was always on the job, and returned my calls promptly. Mark's follow through was also impressive, when he said he was going to do something, he did it. I have not found many this trustworthy nor reliable. Mark is a first class real estate agent and his astute knowledge on probate tremendously extensive. His work ethic is of role model quality and I highly recommend him.
