Both jobs went very well! Jim was a client at the grooming salon. When the bathtub work became necessary, I asked him to look at it, waved my arms around a little, and told him what I wanted to accomplish. We exchanged ideas on how to accomplish the work within my budget, and settled on a plan. Then he moved in, did the work, and left the site in great condition over a long weekend that we had scheduled to be closed. Two years later, the work is standing up, and we bathe a lot of dogs! The reception desk work proceeded pretty much the same way - me pointing, us exchanging ideas, and then, he moved in, did the work, and left the site in great condition. In this case, he did the demo work on a day we were closed, and had planned it so he could finish the work without interrupting our business on the other days. My projects were relatively small, but Jim treated them with respect and thoughtfulness, coming up with great ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted within my budgets and scheduling the work to mesh with my grooming operations. My projects did not require building permits so there were no plans, but Jim got it all right based on my arm waving, pointing, and sketches!

JnK Contracting did an excellent job of putting our house back together after a major leak. The workers were polite, kept the area clean and made it possible for us to remain in the home during repairs. The workmanship was outstanding and for even those people who know we experienced a leak they have a difficult time determining that we had work done.

When Jim and his crew started work everything proceeded as planned. In all the project took about six weeks although not every day was a workday. The quality of his work was high and quite satisfying. During the remodel Jim was not always at the job site but he was always accessible by phone or text. His crew was always thoughtful and provided reasonable safeguards to protect our home from the possible construction damage. Each day the house was left as neat as practical to minimize the impact on us. There were no major issues or delays with the work. Any minor issue that came up were promptly and satisfactorily resolved.

Jim provided us with a detailed contract of the services to be provided including costs for each item(s). He would email us each night to explain what work would be done the following day. The crews arrived promptly and worked without direction.They were always courteous and careful workers. At the end of each work day the work spaces were neat and the materials were carefully stored. Most days the work began at 8:00-9:00 and ended around 4:00. Our kitchen remodel lasted one month which was exactly what the contract stated. The interior painting, electrical, popcorn and wallpaper removal lasted three weeks. Jim communicated well with us throughout both remodeling projects. He also did quite a bit of the work on the electrical systems as well the kitchen and den cabinetry. We were very pleased with the quality of the work as well as Jim and his crews.
