So Bill came out to replace my water heater, that was not making enough hot water. Everything thing went fine until just recently I smelled gas in my garage where my water heater is located. I called out my gas company only for them to tell me I had a leak. (which it has nothing to do with the water heater but, the leak is right next to it.) First thing gas guy says" why is there 2 flexible hoses connected to the water heater, you are only allowed 1 per appliance", good question?! I also have a different plumber here that has rolled his eyes to the fact I have two flex hoses connecting one water heater.. Smh! I called the company and of course they cannot do anything because the claim is more then 30 days old. They informed me to call me home warranty people, which I have and they also cannot do anything. On top of that, "Home warranty plumbing" told me to call Bill who is the one who came out. So I did. He wanted me to text him a picture and I did. I got absolutely not response from him. Really!? Maybe he knows he didn't do a good job. I called today and left a message about this, so lets see if I get a response. I don't know why I am paying for an "First class up grade, that supposedly cover up to $250 dollars to correct code violation's when effecting approved repairs or replacements" if the job was not done right the first time!. I guess no- ones going to do anything about it. Oh let me take that back, Home Warranty Plumbing, will take care of it, but I have to submit another claim and pay another $60 for them to come out. Do they not understand that unless something is wrong with it, First American will not and cannot start a claim? I am so frustrated. This is why I have a home warranty company because they hire PLUMBERS that will get the job done right the first time, so I thought? I am no why a plumber and in no way do I know what is up to code or how things are suppose to be hooked up. Very disappointing in this company. Now I have to waste more money to get the job done right. I'm sure its an easy fix but, since it is gas, that is something I will leave to a professional.
Description of Work: Replaced a water heater through my Home Warranty Company (First American).

They get a D because the plumber neglected to pop out the plug when connecting dishwasher outflow to the new garbage disposal. Which is a bummer, because no-one from this company was unpleasant or blatantly unprofessional. But if your plumber blows something this basic, no homeowner should trust him with something that might become a hidden problem. This company was assigned to me for a home warranty claim. The 6 year old Insinkerator in our recently purchased home wasn't grinding food. They called promptly, and scheduled a visit for a few days after that. The plumber took my paperwork for the disposer, but didn't verify that the SN he needed was on it, so I had to get under the sink to find that later. It was about a week later when they had it to install. The install went smoothly (the new model was basically identical to the failed one). The plumber ran the faucet briefly to verify there were no leaks. I paid the $60 deductible for my insurance, plus $86 to upgrade to the same level of garbage disposal (nice and quiet) that I had. Two days later we realize that the dish tub stored under the sink is full of water. Our first guess (no way... the PROFESSIONAL forgot this basic step?) was correct. The knock out plug was still in place, and the water had been squeezing out at the vacuum break and other fittings. We had to pull everything out, dry everything, remove the disposal, pop out the plug, and replace everything. It was Sunday of a long weekend, so it was easier to do it ourselves than to hand wash dishes indefinitely. I have not called the company, because there isn't much they could do to make this right. After they did the work, we had to re-do it.
Description of Work: Replacement (with model upgrade) of garbage disposal under home warranty.

I was not happy because he tried to remove the pipes from the water heater and he couldn't do it. The next day me and my friend were able to remove the pipe ourself. I asked them to come back the following week to check the piping system. When he came back he didn't charge me, which I was happy about.
Description of Work: They fixed the hot water pressure that was low.

I DID NOT LIKE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THEY HAD TO COME BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO FIX THE SAME PROBLEM. THE FINALLY REPLACED THE TOLIET, BUT I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: INSPECTION OF LEAKS FROM AN UPSTAIS BATHROOM, TOLIET WAS REPLACED AND THE SHOWERHEAD WAS LEAKING INTO THE WALL. WE HAD JUST MOVED IN SO THE WORK WAS ALL COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
