Description of Work: Shower floor retiled

Description of Work: We hired Dan to build us a tray ceiling in the master bedroom. After talking to Dan to establish what his experience was in carpentry, we signed a contract to build the project. The room is 13ft by 14ft. Asking for the tray to come out 2ft from all 4 walls and returning to the ceiling about 8 inches. Using steel studs as the construction material. After completion install crown moulding. After the framing was complete, visually we can tell that some of the finished framing was not straight, the inside of the tray was not level to the outside also. All 4 sides of the tray are all on different planes. I would understand a 1/4 inch off in 2 foot, but not over 1/2 inch in 2 foot. Dan returned to install the drywall, where the drywall joints were not so great. Gaps of over 1/2 inch in a few areas. This cost me extra to fix the substandard workmanship. The next day Dan returned to install the corner molding. He was not supposed to do so. What he left was about 40 feet of drywall corner molding held with about 30 screws. Some areas the molding was left hanging loose. Tape, mud and corner molding was for our drywall guy. I removed the corner molding, because my drywall guy could not guarantee that the finish would be a good quality finish after mud.
