Taylor was very responsive to my calls. He showed up on time, was very professional, and did a great job at replacing the garage door motor and then programming a wireless keypad. Would highly recommend.

As always, Taylor was very prompt, easy to book, professional and had reasonable prices. He is very knowledgeable and is creative with solutions. Each time I've used Golden Rule I have had a different issue with a different garage door. He could handle it all and did so with a great demeanor, staying to get things done in one day when possible. I have a few rentals. He's now worked on those and my own garage doors. I will stay with Golden Door. It's one of those companies that is a gem -- a real keeper.

Taylor arrived 45 minutes after I called him and finished the job in 30 minutes, just as he promised. Price was as quoted with no upsell.

Problems solved. I thought I got good value for my money and I will absolutely call again when needed. I felt very comfortable with the owner. No nickel and dime-ing here.

They came out and fixed it right away and everything was perfect then. The only thing I can say about them is apparently when they advertise they don't ever put their company name down so I did not realize who they were until Angie's List started emailing me asking me if I used them. I figured out that must have been the name of the people but when they advertised they just advertised their phone number and?quick service, but they never put their name in any of their advertisements. They were here whenever they said.

Taylor was great, he was on time, professional, set our garage door spring tension (so that it is now balanced correctly) and answered all of my questions about maintaining a garage door.

Just great! Taylor and I talked on the phone, and he told me he would bring some sensors when he came to the appointment, in case mine needed replacing. He even called ahead of the appointment to let me know when he would be arriving....right on time. Good thing he did bring new sensors. ! Come to find out the company that installed my garage door, didn't swap out the sensors.....and left the same ones in that were for the previous door! No, Golden Rule was not the installer. So he replaced the sensor's, and I haven't had a problem since.

Wonderful! I still can't believe it. Taylor (technician) answered my call, asked me questions regarding the door, and came up with the answer over the phone!! The sensors weren't aligned correctly. I had always thought the sensors only worked for the bottom of the door, but no, all the way to the top. Taylor guided me through the procedure to get a steady light on the sensor itself, instead of blinking like mine was doing. Garage door fixed!! No service call, or charge. Just one kind person named Taylor! He obviously follows "the Golden Rule". Can't praise him enough, and obviously any future garage door issues will result in my calling this company!!

Taylor showed up on time, assessed the problem, and installed a new garage door opener for me in less than an hour. Would definitely hire again.

A week passed since Golden Rule Garage Door did repairs for me on a garage door in a rental unit, when a totally different garage door in another rental unit broke down. I called and left a message for Golden Rule late on a Monday night, and at 7 am the next morning, Taylor, the company owner, called and set up an appointment for 10 am. When he arrived, Taylor replaced broken cables and worn out brackets, secured fasteners, leveled the door, and lubricated metal parts, all to get the door back into good working order. In addition, he inspected and lubricated the metal parts on the door to another unit, at no extra charge. As before, the work was very well done, and I would not hesitate to hire Golden Rule again.

Was notified by a tenant on a Sunday that a spring had broken on a garage door in a rental unit. Called Golden Rule (only company that personally answered their phone on a Sunday), and spoke to Taylor, the owner. Taylor said he would honor the Angie's List featured deal price even though it did not apply to my particular door type. Taylor arrived first thing Monday morning, made the repairs quickly and efficiently, and did some extra maintenance on the system. The work was well done, and I would hire this company again.

Taylor was great! Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. The work was done well and in a timely manner. He helped me set up the wireless app and also did a small tune up on our other garage door for free. He is our new go to guy for our garage doors!!!

Taylor was knowledgeable, pleasant, honest and professional. He knew immediately what needed to be fixed and went right to work. He was very fair with his pricing. It was done very quickly, and there was no pressure to replace anything, which I totally appreciated.

My garage door was obnoxiously loud and squeaky.I saw a deal on Angie's List for a "silencing garage door and tune-up package79$. I sent a message for details regarding this deal and Taylor responded quickly with the information I needed.Taylor worked me into his schedule with a time that was convenient for me.He called early the morning of the job ,letting me know when he would be arriving to do the work.Taylor replaced 12 rollers,the deal was for 10. The extra rollers cost more,I was made aware of this prior to work being performed.He lubricated the hinges and adjusted the tracks and the safety beam.His work was well worth the money spent.The door is as quiet as it should be.Taylor works quickly,he is very efficient and quite personable.

Taylor called ahead of time and asked if he could arrive earlier than the scheduled appointment (which was fine with me). He quickly assessed my noisy door and fixed the issue. While lubricating the various parts, he provided feedback on my opener and springs. Taylor provided excellent service and I would not hesitate to call Golden Rule in the future to service my garage door opener or door.

Garage springs broke in the morning. Called and they had a tech out by 10:00 AM. Did the job and had me test it to my satisfaction. Great customer service.

Very well he even programmed my car.
