CROSS ROOFING

Cross Roofing came to repair my roof after the first repair 18 months ago did not fix the leaks. Cross charged $350 for the first repair 18 months ago and then $350 for the second time repair. After the second repair I saw that there dents on my second floor gutters where the roofers leaned the the weight of their ladders against my house. I called the owner and told him that his repair crew dented my gutters when they put their ladders placed up against my house. It was clear to me that there was some damage done. The owner denied that his crew did any damage and he became rude and surly. He became angry and said he would rescind the 1 year warranty. He cursed, became insulting, and started to yell "just pay me". I needed him address the problem. He called me out as if he wanted to start a fight. He jumped to conclusions that I was not going to pay him for the roof repair. This was never the issue. The damage and workmanship from his company services are the issue. I gave his company a second chance to make right what they did not repair correctly the first time and Paid for their service. He said my gutters were old and leaky and they are not. My type of roof which is concrete shingle and lasts for decades. The owner of Cross Roofing said these roofs need $300 to $700 of repairs every 1-2 years which is why his first repair service did not fix the problem. I seriously doubt this statement and question if Cross Roofing's repairs are reliable and if the job was done right the first time. I had a lousy experience with Cross Roofing. I have worked with many home improvement contractors and I have never had any contractor deny or insult me as Cross Roofing's owner behaved. Cross Roofing has a "Best of City of Milptas" rating in a local community newpaper which is an open balloting system which is why I called on his company the second time. I believed they would do what is right. They charged me $350 for both repairs which I do not have a problem with if the work was done right. Any company can pile up the votes as their is no limit to how many times a person can vote.How his company obtained their "Best of Milpitas" rating is not clear to me as my experience was a bad one.

THIS COMPANY IS REALLY GOOD. VERY FAST, CLEAN, VERY PROFESSIONAL, GOOD ATTITUDE AND QUALITY OF WORK. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT THEY HAVE DONE.
