+ -1 moreThey are working out very well. So far, there seems to be no signs of critters coming back into my house, so they seem to be doing a good job. They have been very nice and very accommodating, so I'm pretty happy with them. I understand that they may be a little more expensive than some of the other companies, but they do a good job. One time, they came out when I wasn't expecting them, and they were very accommodating with the fact that I had to leave immediately.
Description of Work: Clark Pest Control found a number of holes in my house where the critters were getting in, and they patched them up.

+ -1 moreThey are meeting our needs. They are always kind and considerate and it is usually the same person that comes out. He is nice and checks if you having any concerns and there is nothing wrong with the service. I wish their prices were less expensive.
Description of Work: I use Clark Pest Control and they come out every other month and set traps and spray for bugs and rodents. The last time I used them was a month ago.

+ -1 moreEmployee said they don't really "do" roof problems and anyway his ladder was too short. He did give me some advice about how to deal with this but I am disappointed that I am on my own--or am having to spend a lot of time insisting they deal with it--to get rid of the mice when their sales rep waxed enthusiastic about the "total coverage." He did put out some stuff for slugs in the area of the garden I indicated and did the anti-termite spray as usual and advised me to call the supervisor as "he has a longer ladder."
Description of Work: Company is under contract to provide bi-monthly service for a wide range of pests, including rodents. So far I've been satisfied, but I called them this last time to deal with what appears to be mice living up above our back porch awning in the vicinity of the rain gutters.

+ -1 moreGreat! I was really impressed with how much information I was given for free over the phone.
Description of Work: I sent an Email for advice about how to get rid of rats in my backyard. In my Email I mentioned that I had fruit trees, probably way too many plants and two dogs so I was concerned about using rat bait. The rep called me very promptly and gave me lots of advice over the phone even though I didn't set up an appt and didn't spend a dime. She was very knowledgeable, professional and gave me quite a bit of free advice over the phone and offered to have a technician come to my house to look at my backyard. I decided to do some maintenance on my own based on her recommendations, but if my rat problem doesn't improve, I will definitely call Clark Pest Control to have someone come out.

+ -1 moreCame to the house for a limited inspection and measurement. Mailed us a full package of paperwork including the report, recommended treatment, all disclosures and instructions. Once I phoned to schedule the desired dates, asked me to mail the signed agreement. On the initial day of the service, the outside preparation company and the utility company showed up early in the morning, the fumigation company arrived a couple of hours later and all progressed as described. We were told we could reenter the house by 5:00 PM on the third day and the inspection notice and exterior preparation company were completed by 12:00 PM. I followed all the instructions as provided and everything went very smooth! The crews were friendly and professional.
Description of Work: Fumigation for drywood termites.

I am not sure about pricing; my hubby takes care of all of that. He does not complain so I assume it is reasonable. He even raves about them. I have been using them for about a year now.

+ -1 moreWell, the problem has gotten much better and whatever they are doing seems to be working out fine. They do keep traps around the house and everything. The guy who comes out is very pleasant. I am not user about pricing at this time. It is really hard for sure to say how they do because I do not have a comparison.
Description of Work: There was an intermittent rat problem around my home and Clark got hired by us to come in and take care of it.

+ -1 moreThere were noises coming from the attic late at night. We had already blocked all the entrances in the garage and no other entrances into the house were found. So, I told Clark my suspicions of rats in the attic and having rats in the garage in the past. He explained rats can climb walls and get into the house even through 1/4 inch diameters! Rats in CA are also active year around, so this means year around surveillance. $175 for the initial visit and $89 every two months for maintenance. You get a $5 discount for not having a dog in the backyard since they can spray for insects. $679/year total. He was very polite, on time and took time to explain things. Overall a C because of results and he kept calling me "hon".
Description of Work: He set up sticky rat traps in the attic crawl space and in the garage. He looked around the attic and said he could not find any light coming in through the roof. He was not able to find out how the rats were coming into the house. He also sprayed outside for insects. Ive used the service for two weeks and so far no rats in the traps, though I did hear rat activity only once since the initial setting of the traps. He set the traps near the entrance of the attic door. Much evidence of rat activity found in the attic (aka lots of rat feces). Still no rats in the traps. Clark guy says: the rats are not dumb.

+ -1 moreThe inspection was free. They came a few days later to treat the subt. termites. I had several other companies come out and do inspections. The prices were comparable, but Clark left a better impression. The inspector and treatment guy came in a Clark truck and wore a Clark uniform. None of the other companies did. Also, both were very polite and on time. One thing is they could have called to confirm the time the day before. Otherwise, they did a great job.

+ -1 moreImmediate attention was given to my call. Two probable entries to under the house were found, and then capped. Traps were set and monitored. Dead rat later found under house. Efficient operation, with good surveillance appointments. Also sprayed for ants. I will continue their service.

+ -1 moreI have a wasp nest in the attic vent under my roof & I want to get rid of them. Simple problem. I wanted a simple solution. Instead Clark Pest Control would NOT give me even a RANGE of pricing for this job. Instead, they said they only offered ongoing MAINTENANCE plans i.e. YEARLY contracts. They told me unequivocally that they do not do one time exterminations or one-time jobs. I replied I did NOT want what was essentially a pest insurance policy where they would keep coming back every month to check to see that the problem was gone & then re-spray if needed. They would not even give me a range of what a yearly contract might cost, instead they wanted to come out first to inspect the problem. I said no thanks that would be a waste of everyones time unless I at least had a basic understanding of the cost range. They would not provide any range. I think you need to create a new category PEST INSURANCE PLANS & re-classify Clark in that category.

They did find termites and sprayed under the mobile home and put something around the yard, so far it looks like they have got them under control.. They are a good company.

I signed a year contract and they told me that I was lying and said that I didnt make a phone call to complain about the ants coming into my home.
