Alex Yi was very professional and responsive. His quote was in line with a quote from another painting company. We chose ACE because Alex took time to answer all of our questions and make note of our requirements. We didn?t feel rushed to make a decision. He even came out on Saturday to help us decide between two colors. Our house had not been painted since 1992 and was in need of much preparation. The three man crew was professional and very hard working. They spent two days prepping and one and a half days painting. The result was close to perfect.

I am very happy with the exterior paint of my home. The crew was professional and did a very good job. They cleaned up and protected all incidentals. While Alex is busy he still remained responsive and available as needed. I would happily use Ace Painting in the future or recommend them to my neighbors..

Alex came out as agreed. His estimate was among 4-5 estimates I received for the same job. The estimate was fair and reasonable. Alex was at all times very professional and friendly. I felt his company would do the job to my satisfaction. The estimated time to complete the job was 4 weeks. The job progressed as expected per the contract. There were no surprises. The Ace crew were nice, quiet and did their job diligently. I received NO complaints from the tenants on the crew. They did a professional job. The complex now looks fresh and updated! The apartment doors are dark with dark numbers causing a future emergency services liaiblity. I am grateful for the Alex and his crew for spray painting the numbers white at no extra cost. Alex also accomodated us in several other areas for the same property. We had Ace Painting paint the fence, railings, awnings for again a reasonable and fair price. These included projects and the complex were completed in the 4 expected weeks. I appreciate the fact that Alex and his crew made this 4 week project stressed free, on time, and on budget. I appreciate as a business person that communication during this job was NOT a problem. He returned my calls within a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend Alex and Ace Painting Co and will use them again.

I contacted Ace Painting for a quote and we set a convenient appointment for a quote for painting the interior of the house. Alex was polite and arrived on time, he scanned the interior of the house and provided a detailed written quote the next day. The quote was in the same price range I received from 3 other painting companies. I decided to go with Ace painting because they had the earliest availability at the time. The crew came a day in advance, which was very convenient for us. They did a good job covering the floors and the area that did not required painting (house was empty). The walls, baseboards, window and door trimmings were painted properly. The crew forgot to paint one window however Alex came back and fix the issue promptly. Overall we had a very good experience and we will use this provider in the future.

Daniel and Elsio were fabulous.They did a great job from start to finish. The windows and doors look better than the original paint job.

From the very start, Alex Yi and Ace Painting were absolutely professional. Alex came out and gave me a very fair quote. And his guys completed the job in just a little over two weeks. It was clean, competent, and attentive to detail. Among other things, Ace is very familiar with dealing with tenants -- and willing to work with their schedules. One little story may tell you about the pride they take in their work. I happened to mention to Alex that I was putting in a new door in one unit toward the end of the job. Maybe, I said, he could leave me some paint? Alex smiled and said no. "I want to paint your place,'' he said. And Ace did.

Alex was very professional and he arrived on time when we met up for a quote (I was the one who ran late). One of the things I absolutely appreciated from him is that he sent me proof of his insurance as well as references before I could ask for them! His crew did a great job removing all the popcorn from my condo's ceiling and the paint throughout the unit looks great! Alex helped me re-texture a couple areas where I had tried (as well as the previous owner) to do some patching years before. He did not charge me for this as the area was small. However I was sure to show my appreciation by rounding up my final balance to include a tip as a gesture of my appreciation. Alex does not have an answering service so getting a hold of him initially might be difficult. Be patient and try calling another time. You'll be happy you did!

Alex Li from Ace Painting presented a very professional estimate of the work. He also included the Angie's List discount! The estimate was provided to me quickly and included not only the estimate but a copy of his insurance and references. I got six estimates total (it's a long story) and his was the only one to include this information. The painters arrived everyday promptly at 8:00am and worked until approximately 5:00pm. They always made sure to take all of their materials and leave a clean work space. They were polite and worked hard to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. The final product is wonderful and I love walking down my driveway towards my newly-painted house because it looks brand new! All in all it was a quick and painless process, for which I am grateful. My one and only complaint is that Alex did not follow up with an on-site inspection or with me to see how I liked the service.

Alex's price quote was competitive. He was responsive and we were able to quickly agree on a start date. They did a good job of covering the furniture and fixtures. The painting and ceiling work was perfectly done. They did a good job of cleaning up after. Overall, a very good experience with this provider.

The whole job went very smoothly. Alex and his crew are easy to work with and so accomodating. They've done all sorts of painting for us over the years, exterior and interior, and I have no complaints whatsoever!

Painters were thorough in their preparation and cleaned up each day. Appreciated their patience when we changed our minds on the trim color and had to ask them to repaint, which of course, cost a little more than the original estimate. Over all - an excellent job.

The old paint was oil-based. So needed extra coat. And we had chosen different colors on the walls and ceilings. 1st floor and 2nd floor were using different colors as well. SnThe quality of work is great. Very happy.

They were extremely thorough and did a lot more work than we expected. They ended up working for five days and did not ask for any additional cost.

Washed house, scrape peeling paint, filled in cracks and painted very neatly. Workers were courteous.

They are adequate. They come in and they do the work. I've used them a couple of times. They're not really flexible. I think their pricing is reasonable. I have switched to a company that was more flexible and the new painter has done a better job.

They did a great job. Crew was polite and kept work area very clean. They worked quickly and efficiently. They repatched areas of the wall I didn't even expect and it looks great! I will hire them when we are ready to paint the exterior.

Attempts to communicate with this provider by e-mail were frustrating. On two occasions, we attempted to arrange a meeting time, exchanging e-mails back and forth without trouble, but did not receive a final confirmation and had nobody turn up, nor was there any follow-up as might be expected if they didn't receive our e-mail.

I contacted Ace Painting for a quote. I believe that the first call went unreturned, but the second call was answered and a mutually convenient appointment for a quote was booked. The owner was polite and arrived on time. He quickly scanned the interior and exterior and provided a quote the next business day. The price was competitive, right in the middle of my 3 quotes (towards the lower end). I ended up not going with Ace for the interior work because they seem to do more exterior work, but I was very impressed with the quality of service I received from the owner and would definitely consider them for exterior work.

Ace Painting did a fantastic job on painting my wood trim. My job involved sanding/stripping and removing some old caulking. They were on time, put out plenty of drop cloths to prevent spots on my stonework and landscaping. They ended up putting in more time than originally estimated without complaint or asking for extra money. I felt the quality of the paint job was also top notch.

I had made an appointment with Mr. Yi to come by and prepare an estimate for an exterior paint job. the previous week...I received an email confirming the 2pm appointment. At 2pm on the 16th no Mr. Yi to be seen...I finally called Mr. Yi at 2:45 pm and reminded him of the appointment. He said he would check his calendar to see if he had an appointment for the 16th. I let him know that if he could not keep track of his appointment calender I didn't want him touching my house.

Very happy with the work. I will hire them again.

My wife and I have no complaints. The painting team was efficient and professional. We remain extreemly pleased with the job done and we would hire them again.

Painters were polite and prompt. Worked tirelessly, and didn't even complain when I changed my mind regarding the color being applied in the living and master bedroom. They worked patiently on the trim while I went to pick up the new color. They remembered where to replace all the furniture, covered cracks and nail holes that I had been trying to remedy for years; and carefully rehung a heavy mirror in the living room. I would definitely use Ace painting again.

Alex showed up promptly and submitted an estimate the following day. I had a number of other bids and Ace was very competitive. Many areas required a little more than just painting as old paint was peeling and flaking off the walls and requiring more extensive prep work. All work was carried out carefully, on schedule, on budget and in a professional manner. I would definitely hire Ace again.
