The guy came on time, was prompt, thorough, and totally professional. He printed out an estimate for me in his truck before he left - so fast! I ended up using a friend of a friend to do the work, but it took four weeks instead of ACE's estimated 3 days, so I wish I'd used ACE instead. I recommend this company.

,It went like clockwork! A crew of about 5 or 6 arrived about 15 minutes early on the first day. There seemed to be a definite division of labor; they were well organized as all knew what they were supposed to do and moved quickly to get it done. They worked well as a team and had a "can do" attitude. Again, the second and final day they arrived promptly and got right down to work and completed the job. The person I communicated with was Alex Yi. He came out to estimate the job, emailed me a contract and was very accessible by email or telephone. He communicated well with his crew; whatever we requested the crew did well. The house looks great!

We had our hardwood floors refinished and after the work was done, decided it made sense to paint the downstairs - 4+ rooms - before we moved the furniture back into the house. We wanted a painter who could give us an estimate and get the job done quickly. They came out on a Wed., gave us a price just under $1,000 and told us they could get it done Saturday... and they did! Work was excellent. The painting was professional and the clean-up good. I would use them again w/ out question.

I think they did great. The manager came out and did a good job of going over the details of the job and figuring out exactly which colors would go on which walls. The painters themselves were very quick and easy to have at the house. They did a good job and I will use them again in the future.

Alex was timely in scheduling an estimate and punctual in coming for the estimate. I liked what he had to say and he answered my questions/concerns thoroughly. However, he was to send me an estimate within the next day or two. After 2 weeks I called and left a message with my contact information as I never received the quote... still no response. Very strange. Needless to say, we did not use their services.

They were good. Everything was good. The people were good and they came on time. They cleaned the area after finishing their work. I don't have any negative reviews or any complaints about them. I would surely mention their cleanliness and their work to others because I really liked the work they did. They did work in a curvy portion where the wall had to be filled up and they did that really well. So I liked that about them. They did the corners really well and they did not get the paint on the other side of the baseboard. They did nice work. They had good skills especially with the corners and the sharp edges. We will use their services again in the future.

Our project went very well. They were there when they said and finished when they said they would. The quality of the work was wonderful. They moved and cleaned everything up. Our floors were protected from beginning to end. We are very happy with this company.

How did the job go: Wonderfully!!! Alex showed up within a couple of hours of my initial request for an estimate. He then walked around the house and garage and gave me a quotation which he followed up on by email in another couple of hours. He was able to schedule the job for the week after that following week. And they were able to complete the job in four days, start through finish. They have a well-coordinated and professional team of painters who get along with one-another beautifully, and they work with impressive efficiency and precision. The painters are quiet (aside from giggling) and clean and neat in their work and clean-up. It was a marvelous experience to have this company paint my house and garage. I ended up with a fantastic job done, and at a very competitive price. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and I look forward to having them do my interior painting as the need arises.

We had a very positive experience with Ace Painting. Our two painters were very cooperative, punctual and attentive. We were especially impressed with the preparation of the site before they even started to paint. The wood and stucco imperfections were sanded and repaired and the windows, doors, etc. carefully covered with plastic. The paint looks as good as we hoped. The job was completed on time (4 days) and the budget was exactly as estimated. We would definitely recommend Ace Painting to anyone needing their house painted.

The work went very well from start to finish. I received a quotation in a very timely manner. The work actually began several days ahead of schedule. The crew were all very professional. They did a very good job of preparation, covering floors, carpets etc. The team were very good about applying as many coats as needed to cover prior paint and to get a good finish. I am very happy with the outcome.

I thought they were too expensive. They came in a reasonable amount of time and price was quite high though.

Alex was good. They did a good job. They had done good job for me earlier so I decided to hire him again. It was a good experience. They were excellent. Their price was in line with what I expected. I was pretty happy with what they did. They were very good. I would use them in the future.

Alex Yi was very professional throughout. He was punctual for the inspection and provided a very reasonable bid by the next day. His crew power washed a day prior and were on site as scheduled for the job. The prep work (scraping and sanding) was very thoroughly performed. Each member of the crew seemed to take pride in his work and the results showed it. The prep and painting was completed in one day. I would highly recommend Ace Painting.

He was not very good at following up. I called him and when I finally got him on the phone he sounded like he didn't remember me. He didn't sound very professional on the phone either. I also found out that his contract license was expired at that time. I told him that I would go with someone else who had a valid license.

He has on time and very nice. I was very happy with him. I ended up going with Ace because they were able to give me the least expensive estimate. I've been in touch with the salesperson 3 times. He's been very responsive.

It went fine. Good pro crew. No problems.

I had done a minor remodel on my kitchen, including repainting. Some time afterward, I discovered that the contractor had painted all the trim with latex paint directly on top of the previous oil-based enamel, and all the trim started peeling...and there was a *lot* of trim work. I had ended my relationship with that contractor on bad terms, so needed a new painter to fix the problem. After some research, and a couple of bids, I selected Ace painting. They removed all the latex-over-oil-based paint from the trim, which took two men close to two days of painstaking sanding and scraping. Then they properly prepared the surfaces and repainted all of the trim (doors, window sills, molding, bay-window decking) . They cleaned up perfectly, and didn't damage anything. The result was great - as if the original (peeling paint) problem never occurred. It's been over two years since this job, and the paint is still perfect. Fantastic job. Perfect job.

It went very well. They were punctual and did excellent work. This is the second summer I have had Ace paint for me. I will definitely have them back.

The work was supposed to start on 7/25/2011. On 7/23/2011, I worked most of the day packing up the China Cabinet in the living room, taking pictures off the walls, emptying the baker's rack in the kitchen, etc. At the end of the day at @5:30p.m., I checked my email and had an email message from Alex Yi, owner of ACE Painting. He said he had a family emergency come up and could we reschedule the work for sometime the week of 8/1/2011. I called Alex around 5:30 p.m. and he explained that his Grandmother had fallen ill and he had to go out of town. When I suggested some dates to reschedule as per his suggestion for the first week of August, he said he actually didn't know yet if his Grandmother would be okay by then. Needless to say, after really putting in a hard day's work to get ready for these painters, I was really disappointed! I also had a situation wherein I had checked the Contractors' State Licensing Board for Alex's License information. According the Licensing Board website, Alex's Bonding Insurance was due to expire on 7/23/2011. About five to seven days prior to Alex starting the job, I sent him an email and told him what I found out about his bonding insurance and asked if he could provide a Certificate of Renewal to show me on the day the job was to begin. He responded that if the Contractors' Licensing Board website had not updated their information before 7/25/2011, he would definitely provide a copy of the renewal on the day the job was to begin. Well, since he had to cancel the job, I guess we'll never know if he had an updated Certificate of Bonding Insurance or not. Perhaps his Grandmother really did fall gravely ill; however, in light of the Bonding Insurance situation and short-notice cancellation on his part, I just became very uncomfortable having him do the job...so, I'm now in the process of interviewing other painting contractors.

The experience was good overall. Their estimate was not the lowest, but we wanted to go with Ace Painting based on the good reviews we read here. After discussing our tight budget with Alex (the owner), he was able to make things work for us. The whole job took only 2 days and the crew arrived on time each day to start work. They also took great care in cleaning up our home after the job was done. There was a minor miscommunication between Alex and the crew about the hole in the wall, but the crew gladly patched it up for us as soon as we pointed it out. We are very happy with the final results. The painted edges were crisp and clean, they started and finished the job as promised, the estimate was spot on, and they left with no mess behind. We highly recommend them to anyone.

They got everything done on time. They were cheap and got the job done.

The painters arrived on time as expected every day. They obviously knew exactly what they needed to do, and never had to ask us anything. They did not turn on any loud music, went about their business promptly and cleaned everything up at the end of each day. I have recommended Alec to two other families and will probably hire him again in the future to do some inside painting.
