Chimney Sweep Masters

I was in need of custom chimney cap, and luckily I found them online. They seemed to be very reputable. I was dealing with their manager who was an absolute gentleman, patient, and very knowledgeable. He never left me hanging and was always in contact with me. From the first day of ordering to the install, everything went smooth. Thanks, I would definitely recommend them.

Outstanding customer service and extremely professional employees!! I used them to clean my chimney and they were awesome. They set me up with an appointment right away, called the night before to confirm, showed up on time, and did a great job. All of the employees were courteous and professional. I'll definitely be using them again.

Our chimney had not been cleaned or inspected for many years so it was way past time to get it done! I called them and they lived up to expectation. They arrived on time and cleaned the chimney with no muss or fuss. They clearly pointed out what repairs were needed and what could wait. Ben did a great job of inspecting, cleaning, filling cracks and educating us on the in and outs of chimneys. Recommended cleaning every year and I've already put the reminder on my calendar. Will definitely use them next year.

Our technician was efficient and tidy and didn't try to upsell services during his inspection. We didn't end up needing any work, so just paid the base fee for sending someone out to us. It's great for folks that don't use their chimneys often, but want to make sure everything is still in good condition. (They may also be great for cleaning and repair, but I can't personally speak to those services.)

Although I was in sticker shock about the price for a 2hour job, the work was performed on a Sunday and was top notch. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and careful with my property. I recommend this company for sure.

They said they took credit cards, which is we chose them, but when the worker arrived he kept pushing for cash. He wanted to upsell me on painting the inside of the fireplace for $250. He put back the logs right on our gas pipes instead of on the metal grating that every fireplace has. He blew out the soot in a way that covered our outdoor awning in soot. We can't get it out. He left behind a bag of garbage from the fireplace in the room.

Chimney was inspected. The piece I need is unavailable, so I will have to replace my fireplace. I will get that done another time. They were quick to respond and on time.

Fixed the problem, but it would be nice to have the pictures of before and after the repair and also did not get the receipt for the details of the job being done.

Technician was a TOTAL rip off. I would never ever hire them.

I received a call from this company, I clearly explained that I just wanted the chimney cleaned so I can continue to use the fireplace without any issues. As a renter, it is my obligation to keep it clean. Was quoted $150.00 for a basic clean. When the tech showed up, we discussed again what I was needing, if repairs were needed, I would get a written quote from him to present to the owner. He tried to upsell me on a $500 service. He was irritated that I did not want it, we agreed on the basic service of $150. Tech was not prepared with the tools that were needed to complete his job. Asked to use my vacuum to clean the hearth but ended up using it inside the fireplace to get the ashes and soot that his brush did not brush up. Also had to provide him with a bag for ashes and soot, along with a face mask. He kept trying to upsell me through out this time, even saying that if I pay cash, the cost would be lowered, and lowered. There were a few cracks inside the fireplace that I finally agreed upon to get fixed , I figured for an extra $100, this will help avoid carbon monoxide coming into my house - HUGE MISTAKE!! I do not know what kind of putty he used, but used black spray paint to cover the entire inside of the area, leaving the entire house smelling. When tech was done he tells me a different amount. I asked for an invoice, he tells me he can email me. What??? I insisted on having an invoice, he provided me a basic invoice with no company name, he could not remember the company, did not know the address or phone number of the company, he had to look it up. During this time our discussion became very heated and unprofessional. He ended up calling the manager or owner, which he finally told the guy to just leave with the money that was paid. As the man walks out he asks for a tip, what a jerk!! Then proceeds to tell me I am very disrespectful and to never call HIS company for service again. Believe me, I will not. The only thing I am leary about is that he has my name, phone number and address. I highly do not recommend this company - DO NOT HIRE!

Added some glass crystals for us which was really nice.

On-time and they were able to do everything that needed to be done the same day. The chimney hadn't been used for several years, so it needed more than cleaning. But, he made recommendations and said we could hold off on one thing or another if needed. He could get it operational with less than everything. Bottom line: due to him not pushing foe everything and offering slight discounts to do it in one job, we chose to do it all. Happy with the results, and we will use them again for annual maintenance.

I think I’m reviewing the correct pro. Of not apologies because it is difficult to confirm the app. Service was friendly and quick.
