 + -1 moreAfter 3 cancellations and a no show that kept me waiting in all day, this company were extremely disorganized and unhelpful. I left a multitude of voice mails and emails for the manager and they claimed a service engineer came although nothing was fixed and there was no sign that he was even there. I am currently in dispute with them over a $380 invoice they sent me after not calling me or emailing back. It was a horrible, frustrating experience. They have numerous 1 star reviews on yelp in the last 6 months concerning this same issue.

 + 0 moreWe used London some years ago to clean and repair both our chimney s. The lead was Mikey". Arrived one time, very professional, careful to keep carpets protected, acted like we were doing them an honor for choosing them. Definitely would use them again when it's time.

Description of Work: They arrived exactly on time. They came at 8. They were done by 9 and had done a chimney inspection for me because of the problem I had. They greased it to stop the squeaking sound, and they cleaned the fireplace. They gave me a report after that to let me know what they found. They were very efficient and fair priced. I initially made an appointment to have an inspection and clean, but they were honest and told us that our chimney was clean, and they just cleaned the fireplace. I really appreciate honesty.

 + -1 moreThe company sent 2 people. One cleaned the chimney and the other gave me a tutorial on fire safety, how to build a fire, how to put out a fire, where to put an extra smoke detector, etc. They were very tidy and the whole process took less than an hour.

Description of Work: My husband called to get a quote from this company today and spoke with Elliot, who was helpful, informative and gave him prices that sounded fair to us -- $259 for the first chimney, $100 for each additional, plus $20 to scan each flue. When my husband called back to schedule the service, the owner, Mark Rizzo, told him he was given the wrong price structure and that the service would be $657 and no scans available on the available day. When questioned about the price difference and why there was no discount for multiple chimneys when extra travel time wasn't involved, Mark said, "This is the busiest time of year and that's what we charge. Description of Work: Bought a house and had the chimney inspected for damage. The technician arrived early and provided a sweep (cleaning) and photo-scan of system. Based on the evaluation the system looked good and appears to be in working order. The photo-scan revealed a minor void that was repaired on the spot. Unbelievably, the photo-scan revealed intact newspaper stuffed into the chimney to block the air flow. The newspaper was dated October 19, 1941. Amazing discovery. The technician said obviously the chimney was not used very much. The technicians inspected inside and outside of the chimney. They used a ladder, went on the roof and said everything is okay. The receipt had a full explanation of services provided.
