Description of Work: Replaced back porch/deck and installed a new back door.

Description of Work: We hired G. Moran Construction to do a remodel of an existing bathroom. We purchased plumbing fixtures / finishes / cabinetry / countertops and Moran and his crew installed them (except for countertops - they were installed by granite company). Overall it was a good experience, though there were some communication issues. Sometimes information that was given to Moran did not get to his subs, and other times Moran asked us to speak directly to his subs about what we wanted. We were comfortable with that, since both my husband and myself are architects, but as a rule all communication should go directly thru the GC since the contract is with him and not his subs. Anyhow, the overall quality of the work was good in relation to their bid. His crew was friendly and conscientious, and left the premises in good condition each day. Moran was prompt to call to discuss any issues that came up and also kept us informed of his sub's scheduling. Any change orders (minor in our case) were promptly discussed and reviewed. Overall a good experience, and we would hire him again.

Description of Work: Replaced 5 sheets of sheet rock , instaled Tar paper and siding in the light wells and placed 7 foundation bolts..

Description of Work: George replaced my patio and tile, repaired dry rot, a shared wall with a neighbor and created drainage to avoid damage in the future. George worked under a tough time crunch for this project and made sure the job was done right. George has done many other projects for me, repaired decks and balconies, remodeled my kitchen (in 3 weeks, and under budget!! ... partly because I was well organized and had all appliances and cabinetry on hand before he started), and remodeled a bathroom.

Description of Work: They built a deck for us and completed other odd jobs around the house for us over the years. They most recently took a door, trimmed it down and installed it for me. They did a great job! We have been overall happy with the work that George has done for us.

Description of Work: I hired him for a bathroom remodel. He did a great job, is a very reliable guy, always knows up on time, and knows what he is doing. He used good subcontractors and did a great job!

Description of Work: We have used George and his team for several years, on many projects, from simple fence and railing repair, to complex multi-month major kitchen and bathroom remodels. Projects we've had him complete included replacement of several decks, construction of backyard hardscape, two separate upscale kitchen remodels, upscale bathroom remodel, water damage repair, and several other smaller projects. He's our "one stop shop" for repairs and remodeling large and small.

Description of Work: G Moran Construction added a bathroom to a greenhouse conversion to a studio apt in the back of my property in 2009. He was punctual, dependable, competent, and extremely helpful from the beginning of the project through completion. George was well prepared, thoughtful, creative, and always available when any problems came up with the planning dept; I was very satisfied with every aspect of the project, which finished on time and under budget. How many times does that happen? This project also involved digging an 80 foot trench for water, sewage, and gas lines and replacing a slate walkway after this work was completed. After it was finished you couldn't tell any of the area had been disturbed, which is remarkable. I have hired G Moran Construction for several projects and have been more than satisfied with their work, and work ethic, every time.

Description of Work: George Moran Construction helped us complete some work on our apartment bldgs in Vallejo. He was dependable, punctual, skilled, and trustworthy - we would definitely use him again as we need work done. Most of their work was on rehabbing some old decks and steps. We can recommend him without reservation.
