+ -1 moreThis is a second generation construction business with 3 men who do the work. Together they have amassed almost 80 years of experience between them. They broke ground on our new kitchen in early October and I was cooking Christmas dinner by the 25th of December! Every aspect of the construction went smoothly, including the scheduling of inspections, final reports, etc. We were especially pleased that they provided us with contracts outlining every phase of the work and there were no surprises. They stuck to our budget and while we made some changes during the process, it did not exceed our original agreement. The next phase of the work was the interior remodeling of our home which included updating electrical, installing security lights, adding more insulation to our attic, painting the interior, laying tile in our bathrooms and installing new toilets. This work was also done within our time constraints and we again came in on budget. The last phase is now underway with the construction of a 16 foot storage/closet area in the new garage. This work has again surprised us with their ingenuity by customizing the space to circumvent issues created by the garage door mechanism near the storage space.
Description of Work: Hoskins and Sons built us a chef's kitchen and pantry and added a new garage on time and within budget. They also updated our home's insulation, lighting and electrical needs. They painted the interior of our home as well as installed new tile and toilet fixtures in our 2 bathrooms. Their expertise and professionalism exceeded our expectations. They provided us with guidance in the creation of our new kitchen in terms of the utilization of space, newest materials, and latest appliances. As a woman who loves to cook, I couldn't be happier. From the standpoint of construction, my husband is equally satisfied with Hoskin's work This company has built many homes in our rural area, and they come highly recommended to us. With the downturn in the economy, Hoskins and Sons is now doing remodel work as well as new construction. We knew that their work was in the higher range in terms of dollars spent, but we also knew the quality of their construction, their attention to every detail on the work and their professionalism in all matters.
