Description of Work: Workmans is the best service I have found so far in this area.

Description of Work: Workman came and found the problems with AC but there were multiple problems which took approx 2hrs but charge one hour service. He installed a new unit and was very through in checking new unit out to make sure it was working properly to our satisfaction. We felt the price was fair and responsible.

Description of Work: We had two jobs for Workman HVAC: 1. Replace dryer vent (did a great job and lectured us on safety ; and 2. Fix the 1984 Coleman heater (wouldn't ignite). The #2 job has taken this man about a week to finish as the manufacturer kept giving him faulty new replacement parts. We live very rural but this man was dedicated in doing a good job. He hasn't charged for travel time (1 1/2 hours drive each way from his home) and had to make this trip several times. He finally got the job done. He takes pride in his work and would not charge me for work that he didn't do. Finally, it's done and this man deserves a big TWO THUMBS UP for his effort and work ethic. He is worth every penny paid and has saved us several thousand dollars because we did not have to replace the heater for our house. I strongly recommend this man - Troy Workman. Description of Work: I called to have some vent/duct work done on my ac unit although I had two other bids of 500.00$ the previous year i couldnt afford it then so i contacted Troy(owner) and he was very puntual on the first day he came to give us an estimate. He was very upfront on the phone that his rate was 65.00$ per hour and he spent more than two hours figuring out the problem and still charged us only 65.00$ in this day of contractors inflating and ripping people off I thought this was his first test he passed to gain my trust. The past two companys that gave me an estimate just came up with the solution to put divertors in to redirect air to my other bedrooms. Troy was the first person to catch the problem that I had 7 ducts but only 6 registers in my ceilings after researching this we found that the builder never installed the duct and for the last 10 years i have had air pumping into my attic keeping the spiders nice and cool through the summer. He has a very down to earth hometown trustworthy way of approaching his customer service I will not ever use anyone for this kind of work again. I have found my permanent guy

Description of Work: I used Workman HVAC Service, nine months ago. They assessed my air conditioning unit.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning unit refused to start all of a sudden. I contacted the above company on a Friday evening, and arranged an appointment for 10am the following day. Inquiring about the cost of a service visit, I was told that it would be $75.00 which also would include the first hour of work, and thereafter it would be a flat rate. Troy Workman, owner of the company, showed up punctually and diagnosed the problem: low voltage due to a faulty fuse. He had to run off to buy the type of fuse needed for my old unit, making me fear a huge bill that would include his time at the hardware store. He installed the fuse, investigated in passing the grounding of the antiquated aluminum wires that were used for this nearly 50-year-old house and that could have contributed to the problem, and fixed what he could, repeating several times the warning signs for when to call an electrician. In the end he charged me $75.00 saying that he should have had the needed fuse among his supplies - for a total of a little more than 2 hours.
