San Luis Pump

Description of Work: Replaced and Lowered pump in our domestic well.

Description of Work: Called them up to check our well pump as it had stopped working. I was at work but they went ahead & showed up for what I expected to be a diagnostic of the problem. I appreciated that they didn't require anyone be home but not sure if that was a great idea. According to the office staff the service guy showed up about 2:45 pm & left around 5 pm. When I got home there was a note on the door that said they had found the problem and it would be "cheap" to fix. I called the next morning to ask for a quote. $3000 was the amount I was quoted. Apparently my well pump needed to be replaced and they recommended lowering the pump.I spoke to the person who left the note on my door(and an advertising sticker on my reserve tank) he explained the amount of work that would be required and the cost. I asked why he left a note stating it would be "cheap"? His response was had he done the work the night before I would have had to pay overtime but today was a new day. Lucky me. He had taken it upon himself to replace the control box which was confusing seeing as how replacing that didn't fix the problem. We chose to buy the pump from another company & fix the problem ourselves. It's not easy but it can be done. Why I wouldn't recommend? I didn't care for the pressure to make a decision,the deceiving note, the control box replaced w/out my permission and the 5×7 advertisement sticker on my property.

Description of Work: replaced a bad water tank. Came out the previous day and advised that the tank had a hole in it. He could replace it that night but that would mean overtime wages because of the time he came out. He recommended the next morning to avoid the overtime pay. They returned the next day and installed the new tank. arrived one hour after the time promised.

Description of Work: Lowered the pump. Everything went well. In and out in about two hours.

Description of Work: They came out and diagnosed the pump was bad in less than 15mins asked if i want to replace right now and then started pulling it every fast work better than i have had in the past with other company's .
