Description of Work: Henry installed a dog door into the wall of my garage and installed a dog watering trough in my stucco house.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced 6 ceiling fans with ceiling medallions and one entry light fixture with medallion. Remove and dispose of 5 very large and heavy bathroom mirrors which were glued to wall.

Description of Work: H & J Handyman removed and replaced the shower. They opened up the walls and removed and replaced the vanity top. They retouched the paint. They also removed and replaced the mirror.

Description of Work: Henry does excellent work. I would highly recommend him. I had a list of items I wanted completed starting with the items I absolutely needed to have completed. I was verbally quoted a price for labor and materials. The labor quoted was a solid quote of $700 for 2 days work. The materials quoted were not to exceed $100 per my request (but I added a bit extra work so the materials exceeded by my own fault). I purchased many of the items prior to his arrival - just for your reference. I was worried that perhaps paying "by the hour" would mean he would drag his feet in order to ensure that I'd need him to come back to complete the list but that wasn't the case at all. Henry arrived early each day. Progressed through my list quickly and efficiently. Work areas were cleaned up as soon as work was complete. All defunct items were removed as was all the garbage (from ceiling fan packing materials, etc.) Henry also advised me in areas I would not have known about. For instance, I had him install a new bathroom sink. The hoses attached to the sink had some rust build-up. He showed them to me and said he could use those same hoses if I wanted or I could go get replacements. (For like $4 a piece, why not?!) He also discussed the connection of the garbage disposal drain line that I had on my list to replace due to a leak - offering his advice to attach it directly to the garbage disposal instead of where it had been connected. I had also received information from a previous contractor that the installation of the doggie door would require moving electrical wires in the wall. Henry was able to actually put the doggie door where I REALLY wanted it and didn't end up having to move any wires at all! Here's my list (the list that Henry completed): Front porch light - repair canopy Doggie door installation - in wall Garbage disposal drain hose - replacement Back porch - replaced ceiling lights with ceiling fans Doorbell - replacement Outside faucets (2) - replaced Front lawn in-ground sprinklers - repair Guest bathroom - replaced sink, faucet, vanity light, and ceiling light Office - replaced ceiling light with ceiling fan Master bedroom - replaced ceiling light with ceiling fan Kitchen faucet - replacement (this is one of the areas Henry had to purchase materials. I had a faucet but needed a new hose and other parts that I don't know the names of but saw them installed.) I WILL have Henry back again as there are other projects I need completed but need to save up for the labor costs. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting quality, reliable work.
