+ -1 moreI've had them for years. I think they're very good. I've been with them for maybe 20 years. I would highly recommend them. I have a contract with them to check and change my filters and keep my air conditioner going. So they come and check it up. They have to go on the roof. They're right on the job. I would highly recommend them. I've been with them for over 20 years and they've done so many things because my air conditioning is on the top of the house and it's difficult and everything. They're just in the middle on pricing. I don't think they're too high or too low. They're dependable. I was at the hospital with my husband before he passed away and the hospital was freezing. I thought, "Oh God, I'm going to go home, " and I came home and my house was freezing and I couldn't get it on and they came and helped me right away that night. So they're very dependable and very understandable. I would trust them, I really would. I have recommended them to other people too. If something goes out, I call them and I know I'm taken care of. We just do not have the people in Merced that we should have. They're accessible, you could call and you don't get the runaround. They're very responsible.

+ -1 moreI met with the owner/manager, Roger Blaine, originally so he checked it out, however an installer did the work. They did a great job and it was reasonable. Everyone was really efficient and they had high quality of work. We have been really satisfied with them.
Description of Work: We have a guest house with a 15 year old heater. They replaced it and it worked out great!

+ -1 moreThis represents poor service and I feel that I have wasted my money on a partial repair of the problem and the owner was very rude and tried to blame me for this mistake. I have had to other A/C company's come out for the same evaluation and they are not even charging me half the price he has charged me and after I've talked to my friends they have told me that this company has the worst reputation in Merced County. So I hope angie's list helps get out the word so that no one get's ripped off like I did.
Description of Work: They came and evaluated my unit and offered to fix my air unit with a new compressor which I purchased and after they installed it they told me that my heating unit would not work for the winter. This was never mentioned in there initial evaluation.

Description of Work: Blaine has worked on my 16 year old roof-mount heater/A/C. We thought they were pretty good, fast in coming and apparently 'fixing the issue'. However, each time they came, they would always leave us with an estimate for a new unit to be installed, because ours is "on it's last legs." This last service call, for the Air Conditioner in 100+ weather, they said the only thing that could be done was to replace the unit at a cost of 7900.00 Told us there was simply NO WAY to repair it. It's too old. And when asked about the 4800.00 estimate we had received just 4 months prior, we were told that "prices go up!" Before making this investment, we wanted a 2nd opinion. We called another company the NEXT DAY to come out and check the unit. The serviceman CLEANED the unit! Told us it should last several more years with normal maintainence. It works better than it has in the past 6 years that Blaine has been servicing the unit for us. This company never even discussed the need to replace. Blaine also responded to a friends house te very next day for a ground-mounted unit. Looked at it for 10 minutes and told our friends that it will be 7900. to replace his unit - cannot be repaired The only thing the company seems to be good at is using the heat or cold to sell new units! Cannot make simple fixes!!
