A-A Lock

I needed a locksmith to change the lock on our kitchen door because I lost our only key! I found A-A Lock on Angie's List and was very impressed by the great reviews. When I called to make the appointment, I explained that it was very important for me to have an early appointment and that the person assigned to my job would have to be on time; I wanted the locksmith to be finished with his work before my husband woke up; he has Alzheimer's Disease and becomes very agitated when strangers are in the house. The receptionist assured me that the technician would be on time, and yes, he was on time, exactly at 8:00 AM!! I was so happy and impressed! Abe, the technician, was gracious, considerate, competent and most certainly punctual. I highly recommend A-A Lock!

It went very well. The service person showed up on schedule and took care of everything in a timely and professional manner. This was an emergency call (not a big emergency, but I was locked out) and I was very happy I had called this company.

I have used them on and off for years now. They are very professional and they know what they are doing. They are a little expensive, but they are very reliable. If you need to get something done well and in a timely fashion, you can really rely on them. They are qualified. The last time they came out, it was during a weekend and it was night time. I have been using them for 20 years now. I’ll use them again in the future.

I couldn't get out of my front door. The lever handle kept spinning around on both sides. I called and Andy was here within an hour!! It took about an hour or so to fix. It is working great.

He was very punctual, very polite and efficient. He explained what was wrong and what he needed to do. He also gave me options to think about. I would definitely use them again.

The young man was totally unfamiliar with this sort of lock, but quickly studied the installation guides, looked the locks over, and was able to figure out how to do the installations. He was very cautious at every step of the way...the first one took the longest as he figured out how to make it work right-hand or left-hand (the instructions were incomplete about that). He was upfront about the extra charge for the security plate installs, and was careful when installing those. He tested each lock thoroughly at every step of the way, and made sure all things fit properly. The work was clean and beautifully done.

This place offers a range of lock services, but I've only used them to get duplicate keys made. I tried two or three other local places before I found them, and for some reason many of the keys made at other places didn't work in our locks. I used to have to get three keys made to get one that worked. At this place, every key has worked.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. THE LOCK SMITH SEEMED TO KNOW THE DRILL AND THE OFFICER THERE TO HELP. THEY TOOK THEIR PART SERIOUSLY AND CHEERFULLY. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY EVEN THOUGH THE CIRCUMSTANCES WERE NOT PLEASANT.
