Shawn from ZAAAP Garage Door Repair was absolutely awesome! He came out same day and was extremely informative and helpful. He fixed my garage door issues and went above and beyond. With so many terrible home service contractors meeting Shawn and getting this level of customer service was refreshing. Highly recommend for any garage door repair needs you might have in Canyon Lake or the Inland Empire.

Shawn was amazing, I thought I needed a new garage door. He first assess what needed to be done, look at the make and model of the door. Then gave me my options and what would be his first choice. I took Shawn's choice of repairing the door, he did an excellent job showed me how to reset the door and gave me choices on what I could do if anything went wrong. Shawn also gave me a military discount. I will definitely be calling him again if anything goes wrong and definitely telling everybody on the block about him, he's first rate!

Shawn's experience in garage doors shows. He explained my options so I could make an informed decision. He wasn't pushy. He was able to problem solve around a huge beam that runs across my garage ceiling. He fine-tuned everything when he was finished for a well completed job. With the age of my garage door, he explained what parts are likely to fail next and I know exactly who I'll hire if that happens.

Amazing company, Shawn is the owner and he came to give me a free estimate. He was very honest, professional and with a face mask (COVID-19) In the end, I ended up with this company because of the great price given to me. One thing about Shawn is that he is a good communicator! Communication was very good. The price was also very good. The garage door was done pretty quickly, They make sure everything was working good and I was given all the info about the functionality of the motor and door. Shawn came after everything was done to have a final look and go through the work done with me so everything was properly installed and working, he did give me a final explanation of the garage door functionality. I will recommend him to my neighbors since his work was very professional and the price was really good.

Shawn arrived within 1 hour of submitting the request. He began with some preliminary questions. He then followed with an inspection of the wooden single-panel garage door and the 3/4 horsepower Craftsman belt-drive garage door opener. He provided a comprehensive recommendation. Within 48 hours he submitted a proposal for a garage door replacement. Shawn was also honest by suggesting I speak with the original installer to rectify the problem their poor quality service caused. I would rehire Shawn because of his promptness and honesty.

I called Shawn about 1:30pm. He picked up and I explained what I wanted (a wired open/close button next to a walk-in door entrance). He was just finishing another job and would come right over as soon as he was done. He arrived about 30 minutes later. He looked over the job, tested for a compatible button and then hooked it up as soon as he found one. I have two older screw driven garage doors. He told me these type doors are very reliable but they really should be lubed fairly often. I dont know that mine had ever been greased since they were installed. I asked him if he had time to do this and luckily he did. I fully expected to pay him extra for this service, but he did it completely free of charge for me. The charge for installing the wired button was also very reasonable ($100). In fact, I wouldn't have blinked if he had charged me more. He was very professional, very reasonable and I highly recommend him!! He is a small business owner, so unlike larger companies you may see advertised on TV, you always know who you'll be getting when you hire Zaaap. Call him with confidence if you need a new garage door or any garage door related repairs.

So I called this company for my mom who doesn't speak English very well. Prior to this we had another company who tried to sell us a new motor but that seemed odd to me because she changed it 3-4 years ago. It wasn't closing and Shawn arrived within an hour and found that the safety eyes were off. He fixed it in 2 minutes and left WITHOUT CHARGING anything since he was nearby. It is a great feeling to still have honest tradesmen like Shawn, the other company should be ashamed. Guess who I will be calling next time?

Unbelievable service by Shawn! He repaired the unit instead of charging to replace the entire thing. Very honest and professional. I called and he was here in less than one hour. Everything was fixed quickly. Highly recommended.

I was having issues opening my garage door and had bad luck with the first contractor we hired. The guy charged $300 to "lubricate and adjust" the door. After those "repairs" didn't work we decided to contact Shawn from ZAAAP and he got everything fixed up for a great price. I'll be sure to contact Shawn again the next time I need my garage door fixed, it's very rare to find contractors as good and honest as this!

A+++! Shawn is knowledgeable and professional. He does excellent work and tries to do it for the best possible price. I've had him do work on two separate occasions (replace spring on garage door a year ago; and recently to replace the garage door opener.) Both times he came out very quickly and did fantastic work. One thing that I really appreciated was how punctual he is and how he is great at texting/calling to let you know when he will be there; eliminating you waiting for hours like many other contractors. Outstanding company!

Wow, Sahar and his team really exceeded our expectations. We have an old house with a garage door on a grade--two big challenges. Sahar came out a number of times to take measurements and talk about options. Finally, after waiting for our special ordered door, Sahar and his crew removed the old door and opener and installed the new one in one afternoon, and it looks fanatastic--not just the look from the front, but the way they installed the new framing, the jack shaft opener, and the components inside the garage was all very skillful and professional. Plus, Sahar is a genuinely nice person, his prices are very reasonable, and he was really reliable (would always show up when he said he would, and otherwise excellent communication). I would happily hire him for garage door related work in the future--which I hopefully won't need. :)
