It all worked properly. He didn't come when he said he was going to come.

Wow!!!! This company is great. I am very satisfied with their work. I called a couple of companies before this one and all I got was their answering service. One of them called back and said that it would cost $75 just to come out to my house. Then I called Shazzam. The phone was answered right away by a warm and friendly voice. She asked a few questions to determine what I needed and had her husband, Dennis, call me right back. Dennis said he would be able to come over in 20 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised that he would come over on a Saturday, a holiday weekend at that (Mother's day was the next day). I told Dennis that several of my outlets had lost power over time, and now they were shutting down one by one. Dennis went outside to look at my breakers and found which ones were broken. He told me what they cost and that he would go and get them and be right back. He noticed that my breaker box wasn't well protected from the sun and told me a trick he used to protect the box, using a rubber floor mat to deflect the sun's rays. It was money saving advise and very appreciated. After Dennis changed the breakers he asked if there were any other outlets that I wanted him to check. I had quite a few. Dennis patiently fixed and rewired each one. He even asked if I wanted the sockets set up so the bottom plug was activated by the switch and the top socket was always on. It was a very hot day and my air conditioning wasn't hooked up, yet Dennis worked tirelessly, fixing each thing I remembered did not work. He even changed the color of my outlets from almond to white when I told him I preferred white. This company is run by very nice people, who obviously care about what they do. They gave me a discount for being an Angie's List member. The cost was very reasonable and more than fair for the services provided. Try this company, you will be glad you did. It is for companies like this that Angie's List is here. I will definitely recommend this company to others; it's a real gem.

The installation of the light was more involved than I thought as there needed to have power spliced in. Dennis worked steadily, swiftly with minimum trips to his truck as he brought everything needed on a rolling cart. The ceiling fan presented no problems except that the remote had no battery. Upon purchasing and installing a battery in the remote everything worked as advertised. He was clean, neat and fast. His final invoice was exactly the price he quoted on his bid. No add-on's, no gimmicks.

I called Shazzam after reading positive reviews here due to a lack of response from the 1st company I used. Dennis returned my call within an hour and was at my house that evening. He was running late but called me to let me know and to make sure that his being an hour late was not going to be a problem with my schedule. Dennis called again once he was on his way. He checked all the outlets on that circuit breaker and could not find any issues so it was just reset but he told me not to hesitate to call again should it go out. He would come back and do further investigating. While he was at my house I pointed out a small job that I want to have done (replace some existing lighting). I showed him what I wanted to use. Dennis looked it over and let me know what I'd need to have for supplies. He said the whole job would take about an hour. I told him that I would call him once I've gathered all the supplies so we could set a date & time for the job to be done. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone in the Menifee area looking for an electrician gives Shazzam a call!

Dennis showed up exactly on time and gave me a written estimate of the work I wanted done. He later arrived on time for the actual work. He installed a ceiling fan in my living room, an outlet in my garage and an outlet in my kitchen. He moved a light switch and repaired a light fixture without charging me for the work. When he was finished he cleaned up everything. Though it took longer to do the job due to some difficulties with the construction of my home he did not charge for the extra time. He was professional and cheerful and did a highly professional job. I would recommend him without reservation. If I need further electrical work done I will call him to do it.

He was a very nice and pleasant man on the phone and when he arrived on time to my home. On the phone as a first time customer he talked me through resolving an electrical issue I thought I had in my kitchen (before I even mentioned the other work I needed done). He took almost 15 minutes to walk me through resetting a GFI and talked me through where it may be located until I found it and was able to reset the GFI and fix the original problem I called him for. He told me he would be more then happy to come right out and fix it, but because of what I described to him was my problem he believed I may be able to save money by simply finding my GFI. He talked me through the entire process and then said to me if you have any other problems "please call me anytime and I will always try to do the best I can do to help you solve your electrical problems." I was so amazed by his good hearted helpfulness that after talking to my husband we decided to call him back and have him do a list of small upgrades we had wanted for a long time and had put off. He arrived in the time period he told us he would, was very nice, cleaned up after himself (he even brought his own mini vacuum and vacuumed the areas he worked in), in fact I think the areas he worked in were cleaner when he left then they were when he arrived! The worker actually worked a little over an hour of his estimate time, and told us that he stood by his original estimate and always honors that amount quoted originally. Then after all of that he gave us 10% off on our labor charge because we are a military family! Also, I forgot to mention that we had received several other electrical contractors quotes for just part of the work that Shazzam did for us and Shazzam's quote was less then any other quote we received and included a lot more work and the bonus free phone call I described! We were thoroughly impressed by this company and the work that was done, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this awesome Christian owned and operated company! We will without a doubt call this company when we need anything electrical done and will happily share with everyone our fabulous experience.

He was so polite. He even changed a light bulb in my hallway that I couldn't reach. He save me $49 from calling direct tv by spending about 45 minutes setting up my tv. His name was Patrick Miller. I would absolutely hire him again. It was better than I expected it to be.

Patrick arrived promptly and went to work right away. The switches I bought at Lowes were the wrong switches for our type of fans/light,. I said I would return them and try to get the right kind. He said to wait until after he checked out the landscape lighting, just in case he need some other parts. He fixed the landscape lighting. He said, while I returned the fan/light switches and purchased the right kind he would go to another job nearby and would come back to install the switches. He came back in about 2 hours and I had the new switches which he installed. He also checked out the problem with the overloading circuits and made a recommendation. We will call him back for that at a later date. Patrick is very knowledgeable, accommodating and polite. I am very pleased with the repairs.

He was very good but I didn't actually use him. The other guy came back and finished everything that he hadn?t finished. He was very polite and what he said was true. I listened to what he said. He also had somebody that he had done work for call and tell me that they liked him. If I had to call an electrician back I would call him. He got back to me each day even though he knew that I wasn?t going to use him. He helped me and he sent the paper back to the insurance company so they could get the guy to come back and help me. I think he did very well.

The job went wonderfully and I am very happy with the results.
