It was a lot more work than expected, but Claudio stayed and finished the job even though it took him 5.5 hours and he did not charge me a penny more than he quoted. He worked consistently, and was a couple of minutes early. His work ethic was great and he cleaned up after himself.

CGS Electric was great! We had them completely rewire our home, put in a new electrical box and move a power line. I can’t say enough good things about them. Claudio (the owner) is great, answered all of my questions and would get back to me right away if I called. They gave us a really good price, were here everyday promptly at the time they said, and finished the project quickly and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with their work and will certainly use them for all of our future needs.

Our old house has found a new best friend in Claudio...I called late at night when the problem first happened and by the next morning he had returned my call and found a way to schedule an appointment for that day. If we could give him a rating of 10 stars we would---he was punctual, professional and the quality of his work was excellent (as well as his prices) .. I'm a little intimidated by electrical problems-- but he made it seem so easy and not difficult at all! We have also asked him to install an outdoor security light for my mother who lives with us-- we felt assured by his advice as to what kind of light and where and how to have it installed. Thank you Claudio for a job very well done!

We used CGS Electric once before several years ago and liked their work and reviews on Angie's List, so we had Claudio come back for this job. As always, he was easy to schedule for an appointment and arrived promptly. We had purchased two new ceiling fans and he installed them for us. One replaced an old fan that wasn't working properly and the other replaced an overhead ceiling light. Both look great now and Claudio programmed the remote controls for us and showed us how to use them. Likewise on the outdoor lighting, he replaced two non-functioning lights with new ones that we had purchased. We were very happy with the installations and plan to have CGS come back in the near future to install another ceiling fan in a room where there is currently no electrical box in the ceiling.. CGS also can install phone jacks, cable wiriing, etc. and we plan to use those services in the future. I would recommend them to friends.

Claudio came and installed a whole house surge suppressor. He had great communication via email, was on time, and performed the services quickly. He did a nice clean job and explained everything that he was doing. We definitely work with him again in the future.

I work and Claudio came to my house on a Saturday to give me a bid. He was very responsive, reasonable, and saw the best way to solve the problem at the least cost. Because this was an outside job, they were able to do what I needed while I was at work. They did a great job and it everything looks great. It also works great and for the first time in a long time I have peace of mind and lights back on the side of the house. I am so happy that I am having them back in a couple of weeks to fix some indoor lighting and later to rewire the garage. I highly recommend CGS Electric.

I have been using Claudio for years and he is currently on my speed dial. He is everything a usual professional tradesman is not. His communication is spot on, he shows up at the time he said he would, his quote is his bill no add ons, and the job is always done to perfection. We were quoted 2200.00 to do the same job he did for 600.00 so why use anyone else?

Claudio has been my go to electrician for over 5 years. He's exactly the type of contractor I like to work with: a reliable owner / operator who performs the work himself and shows concern for all the little details to get the job done right. He's sophisticated enough and has well-trained help to do the big jobs with precision, such as electrical for a kitchen remodel, replacing old aluminum wiring throughout our whole house, and many other jobs he's done for us over the years. But he's also available and is very responsive if we have a smaller need or quick fix. His prices are also fair and reasonable. Not the cheapest, but certainty much less than larger contractors and other price gougers out there. And importantly, he's also a nice guy with a good attitude with roots and family right here in Huntington Beach. Local electrician, highly responsive, on the ball. Highly recommended!

Claudio was very responsive. He immediately returned the call, came out and provided a reasonable estimate for the work. Outlined the timeline and steps in the process. We only had about 5 hrs of time when the house was completely de-energized. They replaced the ancient electrical panel with an upgraded version. Contacted SoCalEdison for the permits and inspections. Re-stuccoed the area after the installation. We were very impressed with the professionalism, the crew, the cleanliness and quality of the work. We have found a great electrician! We will definitely use him again when we have other electrical needs! Highly recommend CGS Electrical!

Claudio (the owner) and his apprentice did all the work. They are always on time and did great job. My husband manages one of large office buildings in Long Beach. He is exposed to many electricians and contractors. He mentioned that Claudio is one of the best he has dealt with.

It went well and Claudio gave me a senior discount which I appreciated and left telling me if ,for some reason, there is still a problem with flickering connections to call back. He was honest enough to let me know the breaker he replaced was a "refurbished" unit and only charged me $15 for it. I just hope a refurbished breaker is refurbished enough to last as long as a brand new one. Claudio and his helper were very courteous and helpful. Claudio showed me the weak breaker and explained why I was having a problem. I would say he knows his profession well.

If you're looking for the best, this is the Electrical Company to call. Not only did they return my call promptly, they showed up when promised, and were on time! No matter what we threw at him, Claudio was able to handle it. He made the necessary repairs and made some great suggestions when we needed his expertise. His work was stellar and I could not have asked for better experience. I feel totally confident in recommending CGS Electric to anyone looking for the job to be done right.

This review is long overdue. Claudio and his assistance were great to work with. Super nice guys. Respectful, tidy, and were kind to my pup. I provided the materials and Claudio and his assistance performed the installation. I was so thankful they did not put up a fuss since I provided the bathroom ventilator; in fact Claudio said I purchased a really nice one and it was a model above the one he typically installs. He was shocked when I told him what I paid for it which ended up being less than what he was getting his model for, so I provided him my seller's information. Glad we could help each other out. The install locations were a pain. Poor Claudio had to climb around in our small attic and maneuver around vaulted ceilings to get to the 2 fan and exhaust fan locations. He also had to install the exhaust pipe and vent to the outside. We ran into a couple problems along the way...the fan which was shipped to me was the wrong one, the fan remotes were not as expected, etc...all problems not CGS's fault, however CGS was understanding of the situation and came back another day to complete the install when the the new fan arrived and ran wires to switch plates in lieu of using the crappy remotes.

Everything went very well. He even fixed a problem he saw in the attic that had to do with a ceiling fan that was not wired properly. Claudio is always very friendly and professional - and his work is top notch. We have used his company in the past and will continue to use him in the future.

We had a ceiling fan motor in our master bedroom, burn out. the smell was horrible, I called the fire dept to make sure there were no fire issues. They had me turn off the breaker to my bedroom/bath so I was anxious to get an electrician out to change the fan so we could put the breaker back on. Naturally, I called Claudio, as I always do. By the time I had returned from buying a new fan he was at the house to replace it. In short order it was finished and he was on his way. This is a great guy whom I highly recommend.
