Charles arrived on time. In fact he called me early to tell me his exact ETA. When he arrived he introduced himself and toured the house to locate the main unit the air ducts and the return. As he was setting up I noticed he took great care with all of the equipment so none of it damaged walls, floors, etc. He explained everything in detail so I'd known what he was doing. He also kept me informed during the visit as to what he was finding in the vents, etc. After the ducts etc. were cleained he asked me about my dryer vent> Thank goodness he did. I asked him to clean it and after 22 years it was packed full. What a fire hazzard. I would reccommend Air Duct Professionals (Charles) to anyone needing this service> He was punctual, courteous, and extremely competent. Thanks Charles.

Service provider called ahead, arrived on time, was very professional. He did a throrough job and made recommendations for future cleaning frequency, and showed how to do some services. The Deal including cleaning for 8 vents, furnace, air return, and dryer vents and allergy filter. The additonal 3 vents cost $25 each, which was a discount from the normal $40 charge per vent. There was an additional travel fee of $10 to San Diego County. The service men provided thorough and non-rushed service.

I was a little disappointed with their professionalism. The worker arrived in an unmarked truck. I asked for credentials and that seemed to take him by surprise. The worker was not a suspicious at all, it was just the fact that he was in an unmarked truck and that he had nothing to identify himself with the company. He seemed to know what he was doing and spent some time doing the job.

I bought the Big Deal on January 6, and emailed Ed Mack that day to schedule. He responded promptly, and confirmed that he worked on Saturdays and serviced my neighborhood.He then emailed me on Monday, January 9, and said he had no record of my purchase. I emailed the confirmation I had received from Angie's List that day. The next day, he emailed me and said he had emailed Angie's List Business Center and was waiting for confirmation from them. I called Angie's List that day and asked them to let Mr. Mack know of my purchase.On Jan 11, in the morning, I received an email from Angie's List advising that they had communicated with Mr. Mack, who had all of the information he needed to schedule my appointment. That afternoon, I received a canned email from the company advising that someone would contact me shortly to schedule. I responded and said please let's get this scheduled already.On Jan 13, I received another canned email from the company asking for my phone number so they could call to schedule. (Come on!!!) I responded with my work number and reminded them that I had been trying to get the work scheduled for a week by then and wanted it done.When I heard nothing further, on Jan 16, at close of business, I called Angie's List again and asked about my options. I was very happy to find out that I could get a full refund.So, Kudos to Angie's List for its customer service but F to this provider for responsiveness.

He did well. He came in and he was punctual. He was very quick and did a really, really good job. He didn't leave a mess or anything. He ordered new filters for me and it came in 6 weeks later and that was nice. He was professional and I don't have any complaints.

I believe they did a good job with the "work" they were hired to perform. Much more warm air is coming from our furnace vents which I imagine will save money going forward on natural gas and wear and tear on the furnace itself. However, I would not hire this company again. Any professional service provider knows that it is all about being on time and cleaning up afterwards. He was nearly an hour late. Since I had to leave for work before he arrived, my 91-year-old mother and her caregiver were present for the service call. I would not even mention the tardiness were it not for the following. He moved furniture that was nowhere near a heater vent and did not straighten things up afterwards. Furnishings that had to be moved to access the vents were left in the middle of the floor or wherever they had been placed. My sewing machine cabinet was left so that my closet door couldn't open and a leg was broken. The cover to our livingroom vent was not replaced but simply leaned up against the wall. Instead of coming home that evening to learn of a pleasant experience with Air Duct Professionals, I had to move furniture and straighten up the house. This explains the low grade on professionalism. I am told that they were otherwise courteous guys.

I called Air Duct Professionals and they answered immediately. The person who answered the phone gave me an estimate during the call and scheduled the service appointment immediately. On the appointed day/time the service technician arrived exactly on-time, finished the job earlier than estimated, and the cost was exactly as quoted on the initial telephone conversation. Air Duct Professionals is indeed professional, efficient, responsive, and their prices are highly competitive, especially when utilizing the Angie's List coupons.

I enjoy working with people who know exactly what they are doing and do it well. My impression of Ed Mack and his son was that they knew their job and were concerned to get it right. They arrived on time and got right to work. Equipment and ladders were unloaded and Ed crawled up into my attic to vacuum and clean the furnace/fan unit while his son started on the vents. It took them about two hours to get all the vents done and equipment put away. They were careful with floors, walls, paint, and computer equipment located directly under one vent. The only criticism I have is that the equipment used was very old. The brushes used to clean the ducts were so old and misshaped that I'm not confident that they got all the dust they should have. Fortunately, the ducts had already been cleaned in the previous two years by the previous homeowner and were not badly dirty. Overall I was quite please with the job. Not perfect, but certainly above average.

Was not immediately available do to equipment problems, but I was in no hurry and he kept be informed about when the equipment would be available. Was available weekends and came out on a holiday to do the job. Kept everything neat and clean.

I loved the attentiveness, thoroughness, and integrity of Air Duct Professionals. Every time I called with questions about the process, I received detailed explanations of what it would entail. The very same person who answered my calls arrived with an assistant and handled everything with great care. They were on time, honest, competent, professional, and reasonably priced. It is so rare to find this combination. I am very thankful for their services.

They were neat, used drop clothes, cleaned up well after themselves. Charles did little extra things and went above and beyond my expectations. Charles did a really excellent job.

We purchased our house this June and had not used the upstairs heater until the recent cold snap this fall. We immediately had to turn the heater off because the air and smell of the burning dust coming from the vents was unbearable leaving us coughing. We also noticed an odd smell like old cigarette smoke coming from a few rooms down stairs when that heater was used. We did not turn the heat on upstairs for three days until cleaned by Air Duct Professional. I called on a Monday and explained what we service we needed and why we would not be turning the heater back on until cleaned. Ed was working to squeeze us in sooner but the earliest day that worked with our schedule wasn't until Thurs. When making the appointment and mentioning that we found Air Duct Professional on Angie's List, Ed automatically gave us the Angie's Nov. Big Deal price instead of the 10% off coupon shown on their company profile. The Big Deal was $249.00 for cleaning 10 air ducts, 1 air return and one furnace (the average size home). When talking to Ed over the phone, I stated that we had two furnaces (not realizing we had 3) and Ed explained the additional cost of 25.00 for every extra duct over the first 10 and 45.00 for the additional furnace. Ed mentioned that it was possible that some of ducts and additional furnace may or may not need to be cleaned if the previous owner had some cleaned before selling, but he would inspect all vents and furnaces under the Big Deal price and we could then decide what additional cleaning would need to be done after the inspection. Ed and his assistant were prompt and tidy. After the inspection (and seeing the black thick debris found in the ducts), it was very clear to us that all the ducts and furnaces needed to be cleaned. Ed did not try to sell us any additional products or service. He went over our estimate/bill - item by item regarding all the services that would be preformed that day before the work began so there were no surprises. They were courteous while working and when they started to work near the home office, they shut all hall doors possible and gave me plenty of warning when they would be moving to work in the office room. They were very professional during the 3.5 + hour job. The only reason (which I debated long and hard about) why I gave them a "B" instead of an "A" for professionalism is because of a minor incident near the end of the job. While Ed was cleaning the last furnace upstairs .... his language was not the best. :( I honestly don't think Ed knew that he could be heard through the ducts by myself in the upstairs office nor by my son who was in his bedroom at the time. It was very clear by the physical struggling noises and expletives heard through the vent that Ed really had a difficult time while cleaning the upstairs furnace. After, Ed never complained to us that the furnace was difficult to clean and continued his professional manor. I learned later from my husband that the space around the upstairs furnace is very tight and difficult to get to and if we hadn't gone upstairs while Ed was working, we would have never heard him. So, I am not sure how fair it is to include the incident into my over all rating? We are very happy with the service that Ed supplied and would most defiantly will hire Air Duct Professional again to come and clean our ducts and furnaces. Boy, what big a difference there is having the ducts and furnace cleaned! I could immediately feel and smell the difference in the air! I so wished I had had this service done in our old home.... we might not have gotten so many sinus infections in the fall and winter!

They were very good. First of all, they had several ratings from Angie's List that were all positive. They were very friendly and on time. They were courteous when they were here. They cleaned up after themselves. There has been no complication with them so far. I referred them to my brother and I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The experience was very positive. I purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List and within a week I received a call from Richard to schedule the service. He arrived on time, and was very personable. He explained everything he was doing, and answered all of our questions. The house does feel a lot cleaner since the ducts were cleaned. We also bought a filter for our heating unit at his suggestion. We will definitely use AirDuct Professionals again in the future, and highly recommend them.

This was a Big Deal purchase made through an ad that Angies List sent out about six weeks ago. Frankly I am surprised that any prior clients or Angies List would endorse this company. It took them over two weeks to respond to make an appointment to perform the service in the first place...after the money had been paid. The owners do not return phone calls or e-mails.The worst thing of all is that our allergies are about 100% worse now than they were before the service was performed. Upon close examination of our vents, it is clear that the job was not done thoroughly...evidenced by the cobwebs in some of them. It is very disappointing. We feel like we have been scammed. Their equipment is substandard and not capapble of completely cleaning the air ducts as they claim. If you research what experts say about actual air duct cleaning you will find that the type of service this company performs is bogus and just a way to make money. Not only do they not do what they say, they will also try to sell you additional products and "services" while they are at your home. I would highly recommend to anyone that they NOT use this company.

They job went fantastic. They did the work for the coupon I had. He was very thorough and courteous. He was helpful and friendly. He was excellent at what he did.

Easy to set up appt. at my convenience. Arrived promptly. Explained work to be done (rotating brush attached to vacuum hose is inserted into each vent and duct). Worked efficiently and without any mess . Explained what they had done upon completion. This was an Angie's List Big Deal for the set price and it was a very satisfying deal in my view.

Ed came to our house to clean air ducts and furnace. It was a bit of a drive from their location to us - I would say an hour's drive. They said that they do service San Diego county, but there was a $10 charge to come to our place which I thought was fair given the distance. Their overall price was also fair given the service that they did for our heating system. Apparently the house, which we recently moved into, had not had duct cleaning for a long time. They did not leave a mess when they were done. We are very happy with the duct and furnace cleaning service.

They were on time and friendly. They explained what they were doing and kept the areas clean where the vents were. They did a great job and I would gladly recommend them .

We picked up the Daily Deal for $249. The only negative I had was that it took them a couple of weeks to contact me. I can understand that they were likely quite busy with the deal, so I was willing to be a bit more patient. But this was the ONLY negative. Once we had an appointment scheduled, Charles arrived within the time frame he specified. Charles was extremely professional. It turns out that Charles is contracted by Air Duct Pros, but given how professional Charles was, I would expect the same from Air Duct Pros. In fact Charles told me that he and Ed (of Air Duct Pros) are very good friends and that they share business when either gets too busy. Given the outcome of our work, I was quite happy with the arrangement. Upon arrival, Charles started work immediately. He appeared to have very good equipment and definitely knew what he was doing. He was quite social and more than happy to tell me what he was doing. I explained to him that my eldest son has some pretty bad allergies and he went on to suggest items I could pick up at Home Depot to help even further in keeping his room clean. Charles was more than happy to provide advice and never once tried to up sell me on some additional service. In fact he told me that this type of service was really only necessary every 3-5 years if I replaced my filter every three months. Charles told me that my air flow through my duct work was absolutely great and he demonstrated to me. He went out of his way to make certain all of the vents were properly secured (even though not all were when he arrived). He even did an outstanding job opening the return that had been painted shut and the screws stripped. You couldn't even tell that anyone had opened it. The previous company I had out a few years ago never even opened the return. If they had, they would have discovered what Charles had discovered, that my return was completely blocked and there was easily a 1/4" of dust just sitting in there. He gave me some more advice on how to better seal the return we have. Finally, Charles tested out my heater and examined our thermostat. It turns out that we only had a two wire low voltage connection to our heater and the fan wasn't connected. He told me exactly how to replace that wire. The man knows what he's doing for his business and I would bring him back in a heart beat. He's very professional. He and his son went back over where they worked and didn't even leave a spec of dust. Very clean. I wish Charles the greatest of success in his work. I told his son to admire his dad's work ethic and to follow. I just wish more contractors were like Charles. I think I'd start fewer DIY projects if I thought I could trust contractors.
