The gentleman that came out really worked hard. He was here for a long time taking care of it. He was a really nice man. I would use them again in the future.

+ 0 moreHe called and said he would be here at noon, in which he arrived at 11:30. He was on his phone until 12pm and then began service. He then brought in equipment, which looked all beat up and not in good enough shape to do service properly. I told him I was not interested in the service anymore and asked him to leave and he just left without saying a word. He wasn't in any kind of uniform and not professionally dressed, there was also no writing on the truck. He was just not professional at all.

+ 0 moreI'm extremely pleased with the service from the beginning to the end. The owner of this company, Ed, called me to setup an appointment after I purchased the Big Deal. He was very courteous and friendly. On the day of my appointment, his business partner, Richard, came to perform the service. He came within the given time window. It was raining that day and he made sure he wiped the wheels of his equipment before he brought them inside. From our conversation, I found out that he's been in the business for over 20 years and it shows because he answered all my questions and concerns with such knowledge. He did a great job cleaning my vents. I could actually hear debris(!!) passing through the big vacuum duct connected to the negative suction machine outside as he cleaned the inside of the vents with the motorized brush. The work was finished under 2 hours. And before he left, he made sure he cleaned up and vacuumed the floor at the areas that he has worked on - which I really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this company and would hire them again in the future.
Description of Work: Cleaned all air supply ducts with the motorized brush while the negative pressure vacuum was continuously running; cleaned the air return duct and also the dryer vent.

+ 0 moreI had originally just wanted the dryer duct cleaned and had called a few other vendors who quoted me about $150+ for just the dryer duct. Air Ducts Pro had a deal where I could get my dryer duct, furnace and all my vents cleaned for $269. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves once the job was done. They also put in new air filters that needed to be replaced. The work took about an hour at the most and the machinery they used was very non-invasive. They had a hose that extended into my house so that the machine would not damage my floors. They answered all my questions and even showed me all the debris that was extracted from my vents upon request. Overall it was pleasant and I would definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Cleaned out my dryer duct, cleaned all 5 of my vents and furnace. It was two workers that came to service my home. They cleaned up after themselves and replaced air filters that needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreJorge arrived with a coworker. The coworker came to the door and introduced himself, but I can't remember his name. He took a look around and saw all the vents in the house. Then he told me he was required to charge me for the extra vents to be removed at a cost of $45 per vent. I told him no and to just do what the deal stated and was told he could try and access everything through a central location or two. Turned out they could access the entire ducting system through a couple central locations. They had a negative pressure system in order to capture as many particles as possible during the cleaning and it worked well. The result of this was Jorge was unable to tell me just how dirty the ducts were at the time they began the cleaning. I have not gotten up to take a look at the results but the family doesn't appear to be sneezing as often. Jorge did replace the vent filters for me if I had them and attempted to clean the filters that I didn't have replacements for.
Description of Work: They came and did exactly what they were supposed to do. Clean the air vents in the house, which had not been done in at least 10 years. I gave this rating a B only because when Jorge and his coworker arrived they had no company identification on them. They could only show me a drivers license, not a photo ID issued by their company. This was disconcerting, but they were very professional and I don't get the impression they were casing the house. This could be a deal breaker for some people which is the reason I mentioned it. Jorge did try to get me to pay more for the duct cleaning because it only covered 10 vents. Our house has about 20 vents but they were able to get around the extra costs because I didn't require all the vent covers to be removed for cleaning. They were able to clean the ducts within a short distance of the vent covers from a central location. Would I use this company again? Most likely, however air ducts don't require cleaning all that often.

+ 0 moreThey did a supurb job. They didn't have to do all of the services, but they wanted to do a very professional job and went beyond the original job they were hired and paid for. There wasn't any dust left behind. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Services I hired Air Duct Professionals for: -Cleaned, sanitized and disinfected all of the furnace air ducts -Cleaned and disinfected the main unit. -Removed, replaced and disinfected the blower. -Inspected the attic and all of the ducts, -Replaced some air ducts and checked blower fans for the furnace and -Cleaned the return box, -Changed the furnace filter -Removed dust and lint from the dryer and put new duct work from the dryer to the exterior Extras in addition to the services they were actually hired and paid for: -They dusted and wiped down all of the ledges -Swept and mopped behind my dryer and washing machine -Cleaned all baseboards -Vaccumed any spots where they had been working.

+ -1 moreThey came out and did a great job. There was a special deal that they had given me. They were very thorough and explained everything to me. It was pretty good. I really needed it. They didn’t try to talk me into replacing things because people try to do that sometimes, and they use that as an excuse to sell me something else. They just did the job well. They did what they said they were going to do. They checked everything and I believed them, when they told me everything was good. Their price was excellent. They came all the way over here because it was quite a long journey for them. They were also very professional. I was very happy with them. I would rate them highly and will use them in the future if needed.

I had a cat in one of my houses that died and it was rancid smell, so they had to come and coat the ducts; they thought that would not help so they had to use a machine for three days and fumigate. They also had to clean the carpets which were brand new because there was someone with a dog in there; the place was rented. They were professional. The people said they put the air conditioner on and all of a sudden it started to smell again. I think it was still in the duct a little bit so they came out again and then people said it was okay after that. They were really good.

+ -1 moreI was not asking for the motor to be removed. Just wanted the furnace cleaned and serviced per the agreement. He called you from my house and was told to just wipe down the outside. Do you know who was sent here? He was very young, not middle aged at all. Please contact me to repair the ceiling. This was not offered by him. The filter did finally come but it does not fit. It is too big. My deal did include the dryer vent. You had been made aware of the problem through this review yet there has been no effort on your part to contact me and offer damage repair.
Description of Work: They did not perform the details in the Deal that I purchased. I had to print out the coupon and go over with the "technican" what I had purchased and insist that he perform these tasks. One thing that really bothered me was that his company told him to just wipe the outside of the furnace. They were supposed to Clean, sanitize and service the inside of the furnace. This "technician" had no idea what service meant or how to perform that. He kept telling me he could not take out the motor. I had to call the "technician" back in, he missed the return vent. I now realize he never went near the dryer or exhaust fans so he did not do that part of the deal. When the "technician" took off the vents on the one bathroom ceiling somehow chunks of the ceiling came off with the vent. I now have to patch the ceiling and repaint. He did not say anything, I saw it when I went to check his work. The removal of the vents, and the cleaning of the inside ducts causes a mess on the floor. The "technician" did not clean any of this mess. Some of the vents were put back on backwards. The "technician" was very young (20 would be pushing it), not well trained and was not dressed in anything that would identify his relationship to the company. His van was unmarked and no identification was given. That is very unsettleing. He was however, very kind and polite. I have still yet to receive my lifetime filter. It was very difficult to make the appointment. Everytime I called, they were out in the field and were going to get right back to me. That did not happen, and when they did call back, they called on the house number even when I asked they use my cell. Very unorganized office staff of what seemed like just one man.

+ -1 moreAngies list should have a test run with anybody they use for the Deal of the day. They should also make sure the service company can handle the work and capable of completing the jobs they do tak on.
Description of Work: Service man showed up explaining the original client who works with Angies list was overbooked due to the "special" My job had been farmed out to another company. Job ended up costing more money, my air vents have not worked correctly since they were cleaned and serviced. I'm very hesitant to use any of Angie's Deals because of this, chalk it up to an expensive lesson on my part.

+ 0 moreI have had this done before by other companies. Never have I had anyone offer to make custom made filters for my vents. The vents never fit property before, and now they do. The filters are included in the cost. I think it is very good customer service. They measure them, and then they send them to your home. The man that came out was Charles, but I did speak to Ed on the phone.

The former owners had never done anything and I could see dirt, and some junk whenever I took off the covers and looked into the air ducts. I was so pleased with the service.
