Air Duct Professionals

I didn't get a response to set up an appointment. A email from the supplier said they didn't have a contact phone number.

Provider did and excellent job. Was on time, cleaned all ducts, cleaned filters and air purifiers, walked me through how to do myself to maintain on a timely basis. Walked me through how to remove, clean, and re-install filers. Did a great job cleaning out all the ductwork throughout the house. It had not been done in years. Excellent service.

Terrible job. Terrible cleanup. He found the problem and fixed it completely, on a Sunday morning. And cleaned all my ducts as well. All well done. My one complaint: they left and forgot the dryer vent. Otherwise, perfect.

It went fine. There was an additional fee for two additional ducts. They were nice and explained things appropriately. The man who came out seemed knowledgeable and was friendly. He and his assistant completed the work in about 1 ½ - 2 hours.

.I scheduled services with Air Duct Professional and we agreed on a date and time. I requested a call the morning of service to let me know their arrival; so that I might sequester my two dogs. I received a call the morning of service within 40 minutes of arrival time. Eddie the owner arrived with an additional worker, John. Both were courteous and professional. Eddie and I went on a walk through of my home and located all of the vents to be serviced. John began setting up. The two of them began upstairs, then downstairs. Once completed inside, they moved to the garage to clean the forced air unit and change filter and sanitize. Also cleaned dryer vent. Eddie is very knowledgeable, and explained a couple of items that I would want to make adjustments to for safety. This is a great service oriented company and I highly recommend. I have told all my friends and family.

It took some time to make contact and get a date set up, but once we established a date everything went great. They even gave me a free extra vent cleaning since it took a few days to actually set up a date and talk to someone on the phone, which was very generous of them. They showed up exactly when they said they would and the cleaning took the time they had quoted, in my case it was 3 hours since my air ducts were so dirty. The technician did an outstanding job and really worked hard. The amount of material he removed was amazing. We actually filled up his vacuum canisters. The vent covers look much better and my wife has stated that she has not been coughing anywhere near as much. Sean explained that due to all our renovations, and because the vents have probably never been cleaned, there was a massive build up of dust and even debris. He recommended that we get the ducts cleaned after renovation projects since the dust really settles out in the system. The amount of material he removed was certainly proof of that. What really amazed us is that their system is self contained, so even during the cleaning process everything stayed really clean and dust was not blowing all over. Once Sean was done, he cleaned the floors around the work areas and made sure everything was picked up and clean. He did a great job of explaining how the cleaning works, what he would be doing and most importantly, did a great job! We are very happy with the clean ducts and I am thrilled that my wife feels better as well. If you have an older home that has never had the ducts cleaned, or you've done renovations, be sure to call Air Duct Pros. We are really happy we did.

Eddie and Shaun were great. On time, came in did the job. Eddie said the job would take about 2 hours but my place is small so they were there for about an hour and a half. They covered and or moved things that were in the way and moved them back. Very neat and tidy. Thorough and conscientious. Talked to me about filters, how my system works.

RIch is the ideal professional. He showed up on time and went over the home before setting up his equipment. Once the machine was in use he went through each room, removed and cleaned each vent cover while he ran the vent cleaning snake through each air duct, and then screwed each vent cover back into place. He finished with the dryer vent which was too jammed with lint to run the dryer. We're now able to run the dryer and our central air conditioner is working much better.

I spoke with this provider last month and we both agreed that I would recontact him in the month of July to schedule a firm date. I contacted AIR DUCT PROFESSIONALS by phone on July 25 at 12:16 pm in order to schedule our appointment. What occurred next was shocking to say the least. The telephone was answered by an individual who from prior conversations sounded exactly like the individual I had spoken to on prior occasions at the same phone number who represented himself as the owner of Air Duct Professionals. The first words out of his mouth were "I don't have time to talk to any f****** n****** right now..." He obviously thought that he had pressed the "off" button or the "end" button on his telephone in an apparent attempt to not accept the call however, he had not. He sounded as though he was talking to someone in the background either in the same location where he was or on a second telephone as I could not hear any other voices in the background. He sounded extremely angry and went on to talk about "n*****" this and "n*****" that. "what the f*** is going on..." "What is this n***** doing..." dropping profanity after profanity. It was truly a Sterling moment (pun intended). On a couple of occasions I attempted to get his attention but he obviously was unable to hear me as he continued talking to the second unknown person. I listened to his rantings for about six minutes and heard him speak about a job that he was heading toward in San Diego and it had something to do with a trailer that he was going to be working underneath and can only assume that it had to do with air conditioning installation or repair. I include this bit of information as I assume the Air Duct Professionals representative/owner will read this review and he can use this information as a reference to recall the incident that I have described above; since I have no idea how many similar outbursts he may have on a daily basis. After hanging up I thought maybe I had dialed the wrong number so I checked my telephone log and saw that it was the exact number listed on Air Duct Professionals site. I proceeded to re-call the number several times, each time getting either no answer or a voice message greeting stating "you have reached Air Duct Professionals". I immediately called Angie's List to advise them to cancel my service request for Air Duct Professionals and they were gracious enough to arrange for another provider to be sent to my home. I did this not because I am so concerned about whatever personal feelings this representative of AIR DUCT PROFESSIONALS may have. He certainly has a right to his feelings and opinions. My interests are simply to have the filth removed from my air conditioning ducts and consequently from my home. I canceled AIR DUCT PROFESSIONALS services because I have absolutely NO interest in inviting additional filth into my home.

Went great, they were fast and on time. I used them through an Angie's List Big Deal so it was quite reasonable (maybe 80.00?) but really I can't recall exactly.

Everything turned out very well. The gentleman thoroughly explained the work, offered helpful advice on how to maintain the system, and did a good job with the cleaning. He arrived promptly and acted professionally, too.

It was a very positive experience. Ed was very helpful, punctual and professional. I was very satisfied with the experience.

Very nice men. Worked very hard to accomplish the task and I will use again. Nothing has been properly taken care of in this dwelling for 30 years.

We have never purchased anything on Angie's List but went with one of your recommendations for Air Duct service which included checking heater furnice and dryer vent. We purchased 2 vouchers for a total of $658 dollars. The crew that showed up were Charles and C.J. (Father and Son) and they were very professional and explained what they were doing which included showing us the procedure and equipment being used. They were at our house for 2-3 hours and felt that the service performed was excellent. We had never had our vents cleaned on our 14 year old house and can feel the cleaner air when we run the AC. They also showed us how to clean the dryer air vent after it had been cleaned. They even took a dead rat (yuck!) out of a mouse trap we had in the attic which they inspected as well. Overall, we were very pleased with Charles and C.J. and the Air Duct Professionals who cleaned our vents. We will be comfortable using this firm again and look forward to using Angie's List on other services we may need in the future. Barry and Irene San Diego, CA

The service went well. I paid additional to have them clean some other areas of the home after a construction project. I thought the additional fee was reasonable. I was not home while they did the service, but I was pleased with the outcome. I had no issues with scheduling.

It was great doing business with Air Duct Professionals. They did a great job. We have ten vents in the house and every vent was cleaned thoroughly. It was a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

All work was done as expected. Technician was courteous, timely, efficient and helpful. I would definitely use them again for our next duct cleaning.

If you purchase a place where an elderly person has lived for many years, make sure you got everything properly checked before completing purchase. I don't recall the mans name, but he was right within estimated time, and worked very hard to get everything in top notch condition.

They were responsive on the phone. When I called them, they let me know there was a limit on the air ducts. The limit was 8 and I have 10 air ducts. They were going to charge extra for the additional ducts so the Big Deal was not used.

First it took a long time to make an appointment. They did however, show up on time. The technician with his young son did the job and were very pleasant. My disappointment is that the coupon said they would open all air ducts and clean them, they would charge for additional air ducts - which they did, but the technician only opened one (major) air duct and said it was sufficient. I still have dust in the house and our allergies are the same. I don't think they were cleaned properly and we paid way more than the coupon price.

I purchased the Air Duct Cleaning on the Deal page of Angie's List for $329. They mention that any vent over the maximum of 10 vents is an additional $25 per vent. They have you select a date, using 3 day options, then they contact you and let you know what date works best for their schedule out of the 3 that you picked. The service technician was suppose to make a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to the appointment, however, he called about 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The technician was courteous and professional. He explained the worked that was performed and showed were the furnace filter was located.

Fantastic. I'm a first time home buyer, so this whole experience is a bit overwhelming for me. Fortunately my agent and my contractor father was there. Both are highly experienced and they were extremely impressed with Ed. He was completely detail oriented, thorough, meticulous and helpful along the way. He answered all of my questions throughout the process and he spotted issues I would never have been able to identify myself. Inspection is such an important part of the process and Ed was the ideal man for the job. He was fantastic and if I am ever in need of his services again, he'll get my business no questions asked. He's worth every penny.
