Ed was very exact and made a very good guess as to what the work would entail from the information I gave him (# of furnaces and size of home) because I didn't count up all my vents. He told me the most economical way to proceed with the order as well with the Angie's List special.....that was greatly appreciated. The people that came to work on the home were on time and gave me a 30 min heads up before arriving. It was Charles and his crew (2 others). It was a bit surprising because instead of 2 people agreed upon, 3 were sent. We walked through the home and tallied up the vents/intakes/furnaces and it came out very close to Ed's initial estimate. Charles and his crew were actually more than meticulous in the whole operation. They catered to our no shoes in home rule and wore booties for themselves as well as their ladder/equipment. They covered everything as they worked and make great effort to not damage our home. I guess the only thing I was really surprised about was how fast they finished everything.....that made the pricing seem a tad expensive but when I thought about it, it was 3 people instead of 2 so naturally it would go much quicker. After the cleaning, I had issues with my furnaces and I consulted Charles to make sure it wasn't something that was done by them. After getting some hints from him (he used to install/work on furnaces), I looked at mine in more detail and found the issues. It was probably due to something with the thermostats I was installing, nothing to do with their work. I appreciated the after support. Would definitely hire these guys again next time the airducts need a full cleaning. Thanks Ed and Charles/crew.

Rich was incredibly honest and never tried to "up-sell" us on something we didn't need. In fact, the deal came with a fire proof hose and he said we already had one, plus let me know that our dryer really didn't need it because it was a "smart" dryer and had an automatic shut off. He let me know that the vent would only need to be cleaned every 2 years, not annually like I originally thought. He also let me know that our HVAC filter was washable and didn't need to be replaced (in spite of what our smart panel was telling us). He cleaned it this time and showed me how to do it going forward (every 3 months).

We were given a reasonable estimate, and as they did not do the duct cleaning they applied the $299 we had already provided them to work. Rich called us the morning of the install - he was planning on starting early as the days had been getting warm. He started the work early and proceeded to pull out the old and install the new ducts. The temperature in the attic must have gotten over 150 degrees, it was above 95 outside. How he was able to work in that tight space, with that heat I don't know. The work was done as quickly as he could do it and retained a very good attitude while dealing with the dust and the heat. He was done around 3:00 pm. Unfortunately, he had been provided the wrong duct by the distributor and said that he would return on Sunday (it was Saturday) with the correct one. He called me on Sunday morning to tell me that unfortunately the distributor was closed that morning, they had just changed their hours and were closed on Sundays. Rich told me that he would be there first thing on Monday morning. Rich was true to his word and came out and installed the last duct. The system works fine, though I discovered that the air conditioner unit itself was no longer cooling. He said that I should find an AC service on Angieslist and ensure that they have been in business over 30 years. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I appreciated Rich and Beth's thoroughness in cleaning up after the work. Highly recommended.

The owner answered the phone, answered all my questions and explained to me how to get the special deal. He was very responsive to my emails when I had some questions. The purchase went smoothly and easily. The workers showed up right on time, did the work quickly, neatly and efficiently, and left everything clean and in good order. They were also friendly and very professional in their demeanor. I manage apartment buildings and need to do dryer clean outs every year and will use them again for sure.

Went great. Guys were super friendly and thorough. Air works better than ever and we haven't had all the sinus problems that we've had in the past now that the vents are clean.

The service went well. There were two technicians. Both worked REALLY hard! They knew what they were doing and worked quickly and thoroughly. Both men were skilled and kept me informed with the problems they found (I unknowingly created problems) and fixed. They showed me what they were doing and how they fixed things up for me. The service took longer than I expected, but that was because I did not know what the service entailed. They were young men and quite friendly. I think I got in their way, but they never acted like it bothered them. I am just curious. They left a new kind of washable filter for my vents that I can now use in the future. James even repaired my dryer flex gas line and aluminum ducting that were twisted and bent. When they were done, they showed me the vacuum's accumulated debris from my ducts and explained what it meant. Overall, I am very pleased and would rehire this service provider without hesitation.

So professional and helpful

The owner, Ed Mack performed the service. He was punctual and recalled our telephone conversation in which I expressed concern that past attempts to keep dryer hose attached to wall bib/duct had been troublesome and often resulted in hot air leaks. Ed thoroughly cleaned the duct from the wall to the outside of the house and completed the job quickly and cleanly. Best of all, Ed was able to pull more of the wall bib to lengthen the extension which then allowed for a much more secure connection ensuring that we'd avoid the hot air leaks that had previously plagued us. As a bonus, Ed showed us how we might avoid water from from outside of the house from entering our home through the dryer vent in the even of severe El Nino rains. He suggested we use PCV elbow joints to ensure the water stayed outside. He even drew a picture of the configuration he suggested we use. We were very happy with the work done by Ed Mack and we recommend him highly.

They were GREAT! Love the response time. I've bout deals from Groupon where the provider never responds, doesn't show up, etc.etc. etc. and?they loved my dogs!

They arrived promptly at the designated hour. Drop cloths were put over the carpet and when they were finished everything was put back neatly and there was no residual dust or dirt remaining. I have no qualms about recommending them. They are very professional. Given the amount of time needed to perform the service, I think the cost was very fair.

They were very professional and punctual. I don't believe I have ever been so impressed by a service provider. Everything was explained to me in great detail. I was shown the reasons I needed to have additional services. My air ducts had never been changed in 15 years and I had twice as many as the Angie's List deal. The increase was very reasonable and I knew it was necessary. They protected my home while they did the cleaning. Paper was placed on my floors and they wore booties similar to those worn in surgical suites. I had a few problems that were unrelated to the services they provide; yet, they took care of them as well. I would recommend them to anybody.

Went well, although I don't know much about duct cleaning. It seems my dryer takes less time to clean a load. Also seems to have less dust around the house.

The contractor was professional, provided details and information, and was very personable. He spent a good deal of attention and time to the process to ensure he provided proper service. Experience overall was excellent.

Awesome! Highly recommend! I had a dryer that took hours to dry a load. Air Duct Professionals cleaned out my very dirty vents, and installed better grates to the outside vent. My dryer works better then it ever has! Would definitely call them again!

I purchased the deal on Angie's list to have my air ducts and dryer vent cleaned. It was the first time I had a service like this done and chose Air Duct Professionals based on their reviews and after talking with Ed. He and the service team were pleasant and professional. Scheduling the appointment was quick and the service was performed in about a week after I purchased the deal. The service team, Charles and Jazzy, were hard at work the whole 2 hours they were here and were efficient and not rushed. Charles explained the process before he got started and asked if we had questions. I appreciated that he gave us simple tips on preventative maintenance we can do between services. Although this is not a service needed often, I'd definitely use this company again and would recommend their services.

Ed inspected the complete attic and reported all findings, including taking photos of the entire space.

Charles went into the attic and discovered leaks which explained the low air pressure upstairs. He also made a couple of suggestions to improve air flow and explained how the darn ac/hvac works. It was a pleasure to speak to him. After checking with my insurance, I will call on him for further services. I appreciated his service!
