Rich and Beth were very nice; however, the bathroom floors were scratched from their equipment. Perhaps, some type of a floor cover should be used to prevent damage to flooring.

Above and beyond! They came only to clean ducts, yet I am grateful beyond words that they caught and fixed a leak I was unaware of in the AC unit due to condensation and plugged drainage, which would have otherwise caused serious water damage. The duct cleaning was excellent. Clean up was spotless. I mean, they pay attention to detail: everyone put booties on when in the house, and off when outside. The guy crawled up and behind the AC unit (a very tight squeeze) and even cleaned BEHIND the unit! Amazing. He taught me how to maintain the unit, replace the filters, and light the pilot. I could not ask for more professional work. Also, everyone, including the amazing helper duo, had a great attitude and sense of humor -- all of which made my day enjoyable.

Great experience. Very nice team came and cleaned our ducts. They identified that something was wrong with the dryer based on lint in odd places in the house, and identified that the outside vent had been installed improperly and corrected for a small fee. We have had several dryer cleanings in the 5 years we have been in the house, and no one identified the issue; all we knew was the dryer needed frequent cleanings and never really dried well. Now it works perfectly! A great company, highly recommend.

Technicians were very professional and did a great job of cleaning the dryer and 18 vents, as there has been a very noticeable change in the air flow. We had a few rooms where there was hardly any air coming from the AC but after the vent cleaning the rooms now get improved air flow and are able to cool down. Will definitely use them again.

Was on time told me what he was going to do and did it. Took a little longer than quoted but was an acceptable time period. Could have cleaned the floor better but overall a good job.

The best part about this service, other than the fact that they we way above the normal service, is that they took the time to teach us how to better use our fans, air conditioner and maintain what they just cleaned. They talked to us about the filters and which ones to buy and where to get them. There were three people that came and they worked together very well. I was Very please with their service. This was my first experience with an Angies list provider. If they all do the level of service this company provided, I am hooked for life.

My brand new dryer wasn't drying our clothes quickly enough. I suspected the vent needed cleaning and I remembered it had been a few years since the air ducts had been cleaned. I called Ed Mack of Air Duct Professionals and he was able to arrange for someone to come out the next day. Jesus and Sabaz Fausto arrived right on time and got to work promptly. Both of them were courteous and professional. Sabaz cleaned the dryer vent and installed the new tubing for the dryer. Sabaz did a great job on the ducts and the dryer vent. Jesus also did great work. They cleaned up after the work was completed. I would definitely hire them again.

I was a bit uncertain when only one tech showed up, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he performed the cleaning. It took about an hour and a half for 12 ducts in an empty home that we just purchased. i doubt that the ducts had ever been cleaned, because he had to empty his machine TWICE during the service. You'd be amazed at what can be found in the vents. Pennies, army men, a huge collection of crayons, even a wooden spoon, along with piles of other dust and debris. The tech was clean, quick, thorough and friendly. He showed me where to replace the furnace filter and explained how to clean the permenant filter that he put in. They use a sanitizer in the ducts that left the house smelling fresh. I purchase their deal on Angie's list and that made the experience even sweeter. VERY affordable. Highly recommended.

This was a gift for my brother, and he was extremely pleased with the service and representative. I've personally used this company in the past, and was so pleased with the service and experience that I knew I could go back to them for services again.

I purchased a coupon through Angie"s List and made an appointment for the next week. Charles and his assistant showed up on time and were very efficient. Charles informed me of exactly what they could do and what they couldn't. After completing the job, they cleaned up and he informed me of improvements to the system, i.e. replacing my intake grille with a filter grille with filter. I was very impressed with the overall service and would definitely recommend this company to friends.

It went especially well! During the process of cleaning the heating vents Charles noticed one vent duct was completely disconnected. He promptly fixed it as part of the over all quote. No additional expense. He explained in solid layman's terms what he was doing throughout the cleaning. When he and his team got to the dryer vent we discovered the vent was blocked and extremely vulnerable to fire. With a fair amount of effort, Charles unblocked it an made the connections better than how he found them. In fact that is what was most impressive. He fixed many small but important things and left the whole system in much better shape. I originally chose Air Duct Professionals because of the overwhelming positive reviews and the impressive review count, exceeding 1200. It worked out great.

They contacted me very quickly, set up an appointment within 2 days of our first call, arrived timely, were extremely professional and did an excellent job.

Rich and Beth get a great job and had the "can do attitude" through the the process. They had to spend extra time on removing air ducts since the ducts were painted on after being installed.

I used Air Duct Professionals. They were here about 6 months ago October, 2015. I think it was a couple hundred dollars. They used a subcontractor so it was kind of an odd situation, they were fine but it was just weird. They could have been on time because I think their truck broke down or something odd happened. I think they called me but they didn't say why, but then they said something about traffic but it sounded kind of odd because the traffic wasn't that bad that day or something, it was just odd. We gave them a check and they asked us to make the check out to somebody else so it was just kind of odd. I mean they were nice people and everything it was just kind of odd. They did a good job and everything. It's one of those things when they show up with an old beat up truck you're kind of wondering. When we called and did the appointment and all of that, that was all fine, it was all professional. They were up in LA somewhere and when they subcontracted it out, when the people got there, then it was like a husband and wife team, I mean they were nice people it was just not what we expected. At the end I think we got a good product and they did a good job.

The last person who came in told me we had to replace the entire venting system at a cost of $1459..00 He cleaned vent and said there were no problems. The Air Duct Professionals arrived on time, were clean, efficient, and very friendly. The cost was $159. I will use them yearly for vent leaning to maintain our clothes dryer's efficacy.

I purchased this as an Angies List offer and expected the vendor to just clean and potentially replace the vinyl vent tube but he found that the back of the dryer was completely detached. So he did replace the vent tube with an aluminum one, which is more to code, and he added a vent connector for $7 more so that the back of the dryer could be reattached. It was money well spent.

Very professional, friendly crew, came on time, worked quick and efficiently, explained what they were doing and advised about use of filters as well as frequency of change. Left my house perfectly clean and with fresh air!

Charles and Jazzy were extremely professional, they were even going to put on shoe covers so they did not get my floors dirty. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them and use them in the future.

I scheduled service because my daughter had a cold/allergy/upper respiratory thing this winter that jut wouldn't completely go away- alot of coughing in the evening and morning. Every week, when I clean the house, I notice alot of dust and grime re-settled on surfaces, which is just a part of living in southern california, so thought it made sense to try cleaning vents that hadn't even been cleaned since central heat was installed about 8 years ago. I almost cancelled the service after reading online some opinions about how vent cleaning is unnecessary (and preferring to spend my money on fun things like going to dinner!) but I am so glad that I didn't. Rich and Beth showed up on time, explained everything to me and got right to work. They showed me the crud that was as coming out of the vents and literally caked on my furnace filter that was making my heater work really hard and poorly (and to be really loud). Then they sprayed a very mild freshener in the system when they were done. I hate ALL perfumes, so I was worried about that but I really couldn't smell it at all. They also gave me tips for venting/running the dryer to minimize indoor pollution, cleaned up after themselves and honored the deal I found online with NO upsell at all. Bottom line- my daughter stopped having that "crunky" cough almost immediately, my heater started working silently and more effectively and I am thrilled that we decided to do this. It's so rare these days to get exactly what was promised that I had to give these guys some love for the job they did.

This part of my review will be called The Saga of my Dryer Vent. It will also appear in my review of Clean & Clear Dryer Vent Service, but with a very different conclusion. My clothes dryer started operating poorly late last year. I figured the vent needed cleaning and looked up services on Angie?s List. Air Duct Professionals were at the top of the list and offered a coupon for $159, which didn?t strike me as a great deal but good enough (I?d gotten a better deal from Breezeway Air Duct Cleaning in 2012, and they?d done a good job, but they?re now in some sort of dispute with Angie?s List though doing fine on Yelp). I booked the $159 deal (pay in advance) and two guys came out in early January. They called me in to show me that when they detached the duct from the dryer, water had poured out. I think they thought that was the blockage, and they went ahead and cleaned the vent. I asked if they wanted to use my extension ladder to go onto the flat roof accessible through a trap door in the ceiling of the laundry room to check the exterior vent but they declined and assured me the dryer should now work fine. It didn?t. The next day I went up on the roof and saw that the protective cage around the exterior vent was completely clogged with lint and shreds of tissue that my son had an unfortunate habit of leaving in his pants pockets. I called Air Duct Professionals, explained what I had found, and asked if their men could come back and clean the exterior vent. The manager said no, he couldn?t ask his men to go onto a roof, and even though I explained it was a wide flat roof with no chance of falling, he said he couldn?t ask them to climb a ladder, and even though I explained it was a simple climb through a door in the laundry room ceiling and I as a 70 year-old overweight man had no trouble doing it, he insisted that he couldn?t ask his men to do it, but he did offer to refund my $159. I found it astounding that a duct cleaning company could not perform the service of making a short climb onto a wide flat roof, but I couldn?t persuade the manager otherwise, so I accepted the refund, which he promptly sent. I went up with various picks and pliers and a garage vacuum, cleaned the cage and outside of the vent myself, and figured I might have solved the problem. The dryer worked little if any better. At this point I made a poor decision and decided that since the dryer was 13 years old the problem might be with it, so I bought a new one. It didn?t work any better, but its snazzy warning light at least confirmed that my problem was with the vent. My guess at this point, after some internet and youtube research, was that my main problem was probably blockage in the upper ductwork that I hadn?t reached by cleaning the outside cage and that the duct from the new dryer was also too long and twisty which, among other problems, enabled it to collect condensation at low points. I thought about going back to Breezeway, which can still be found in the back annals of Angie?s List, but their almost entirely positive old reviews didn?t describe any problems like mine, so I read reviews until I found somebody who gave me hope that they could solve this problem that had now bedeviled me for some weeks. This Company was Clean & Clear Vent Service in San Pedro, which specializes in dryer vents (vs. air ducts in general). I called and spoke with the proprietor, Todd Bergenbring. He listened to the short version of my saga and was as amazed as I had been that Air Duct Pros hadn?t looked at the exterior vent in the first place then had refused to go onto the roof to check the blockage. I felt affirmed and scheduled Todd to come out. The problems he found were appalling and I suspect would have been beyond the ability of any ordinary air duct technician to solve. First and most simply, he replaced the overly long and twisty duct from the dryer with a shorter, more rigid one without any low spots. Next, he went up on the roof and found that, with the dryer on, nothing was coming out of the vent. He took off the protective cage and vent cover?perhaps for the first time since the house was built in 2002; the screws had been painted over?and attempted to clean the upper ductwork but found that it wasn?t the rigid metal that it?s supposed to be but rather thin foil with wire, and it swallowed one of his brushes. To retrieve the brush and clean the vent required finding a 13x14? attic-access passage that I didn?t even realize was in a storage closet ceiling, but Todd found it and squeezed from the thighs up into the attic crawl space and discovered that the thin foil duct that had evidently been shoddily installed when the house was built had disintegrated into a tangle of wires. Whether this damage had occurred over time or been caused by poking from below without noting that the exterior vent and protective cage were clogged, I don?t know. With much squeezing and labor and abuse of his body, Todd managed to remove the damaged duct and replace it with a rigid metal section. I could go on, but I?ll close simply by saying that Todd did what one hopes will be done when you contract a service from Angie?s List, stay on a problem until it?s solved, and that the new dryer now works properly. I had been reluctant to review Air Duct Professionals, even as Angie?s List was pressuring me for a review of a company which they knew I?d used, since I had to pay in advance. I felt the company had been fair in refunding my money. I felt the technicians had been prompt, courteous, and so forth. And I didn?t want to put a blemish on a record that so many people had given straight A?s. But now that another company has gotten to the bottom of my problem and solved it, I feel a responsibility to call into question that Air Duct did not check my exterior vent and, after I had done so, declined to have someone climb a ladder onto a flat roof to deal with it. As the technicians were leaving, one turned on the dryer for a moment and asked if I could feel that the air was getting hot. I felt that it may have been getting slightly warm and I recall my exact response, ?I?ll take your word for it.? I shouldn?t have, and my advice for anyone who may have a significant problem with a dryer vent would be to insist that they, or at least the technician, feel to make sure that, when the dryer is running, air is flowing freely out of the exterior vent. Doing so would have saved me much trouble and expense, even if Air Duct Pros hadn?t been able to fix the problem.

The technicians were prompt, professional and did not leave until they were sure my wife and I were satisfied.
