+ 2 moreIt all came together smoothly. Roy Davi, the owner, likes to keep you posted along the way and explain thoroughly what steps he is taking and why he does things the way he does. Several neighbors in our townhouse area have used his company to solve their issues. He went beyond my expectations.
Description of Work: Red Hammer replaced a rotted out floor in a utility closet and discovered termites and other siding problems along the way. At another time he solved a tricky wiring problem that two other contractors filed to do. He also repaired decking.

+ -1 moreProject took the better part of three days (including paint drying time) to complete. He showed up every day at the appointed time, being courteous enough to always ring our bell to let us know he was ready to begin work. Overcame some hazardous ladder angles to fix second story windows. I was very impressed by the fact he finished each day by showing us what he had done and why he had done it. He cleaned up all messes each day before leaving.
Description of Work: Replaced water damaged (dry rot) trim boards around front room windows. Replaced siding around windows that had dry rot and fungus damage. Treated, painted and caulked all new boards around windows. Replaced three 2"x8"x8' trim boards around house because of dry rot and water damage. Replaced another trim board near front door that was rotten. Replaced deck support post because of dry rot. Re-tar papered damaged areas, installed flashings where appropriate, and painted and caulked to seal all gaps. Also caulked all windows on entire exterior.

+ -1 moreThe tile pattern he chose was amazing, the tile installation was perfect. The color scheme of the floor, shower tile, granite and sink and toilet would have been awful had Roy Davi not given me his opinion and I am so glad that I followed his expert advice. In the past, Roy Davi of Red Hammer Construction has also remodeled my kitchen adding tile and granite and replacing my cabinets. There has not been one project that I have given Red Hammer that he has not been able to accomplish and finish beautifully!
Description of Work: He remodeled my bathroom adding tile, granite, new sink, toilet and flooring.
