Description of Work: They replaced wood siding that had dry rot, and painted the exterior. They also replaced a toilet and tested an old shower to ensure that there are no leaks.

+ -1 moreContractor's men re-cut tiles, broke several others when removing the damaged ones. Set new tiles wrongly - tiles were cut correctly in the first place. LaBrea unhelpful, rude, about his men's error. At first refused to supervise redoing work. Refused to fix problem without agreement that owner would pay for all work including the damage his men had done. Men did further damage - eventually 12 tiles had to be replaced. Total cost $2,500.
Description of Work: Entranceway has slate tiles. Two were cracked. Hired Lamorinda Home Repair to remove and replace them. Tiles supplied by owner, cut and bullnosed by another company - this arranged and paid for by owner. Contractor's charge $80 per hour - expected time about 2 hours.
