Kodiak Construction

Every once in a while you meet people in life that do their job well. Kodak construction company is a rare find because the entire crew of people I met and the really good secretary on the phone all contributed to a seriously high-quality job. We had a very large sloped concrete driveway and a double carport that needed to be replaced. The price was reasonable, their timeline was perfect, they were in and out. Workers cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend them without reservation.

I had a small job and 7 contractors looked at it, most did not even bother calling me back. Kodiak did and their work was great. I recommend them for your project.

They came on time for my estimate, were very friendly, let me know what was going every step of the way, very fair pricing, cleaned up the job site so it looked as good as new.

Dave and his staff (from workers to office staff) are wonderful to work with. Our beautiful patio was completed well within the quoted two weeks. We did not imagine that our patio could look as lovely as it does. We hate to decorate outside! We just want to keep looking at the bare patio. We are definitely keeping Kodiak in mind for additional work we will be having done. Dave himself was involved in every stage of the project from start to finish. We can’t say enough about this company!

Kodiak replaced our concrete driveway over the holidays. Weather was extremely windy and leaves were falling on freshly poured concrete. Somehow, they managed to remove every single one of them for a perfect finish. Very professional and well priced. I would definitely hire Kodiak again for another project.

Stay away from KODIAK, These people are 100% unprofessional to the point of being dishonest. On September 18, 2017, I signed a contract with Kodiak for the foundation of a home addition (300 ft^2) that required pile drilling. I was told that the work would start around Thanksgiving. After waiting for two months without a word from them, I got the following email from Griffin (their estimator and scheduler). On Monday, November 20, 2017 9:22 AM, Griffin Ormond <kodiakgriffin@gmail.com> wrote: Christian, Unfortunately as of Friday our foundation foreman & excavator are no longer with us. I am truly sorry but we cannot start until March 2018. Thank you. Griffin Ormond After getting this message, I tried to talk to the owners David & Michael FIGUEROA. I left a message to both, neither of them returned the call. Eventually Griffin called me and in so many words told me that my job had been put at the bottom of the pile. This means that KODIAK either realized they could not do the work or that they found a better opportunity job. In either case very unprofessional. I never heard from them again even though I left messages for Griffin. I had to restart from scratch and essentially had the job delayed by 6 months (including the rainy months at the beginning of 2018). I went with Lassiter Excavating, Inc. These people are reliable, have the equipment and the know-how. KODIAK is a light weight, fly-by-night non-professional organization. They may be OK for a sidewalk or a patio (as shown on their site), but they should not commit to a job and then walk away from it without any warning.

Kodiak replaced out concrete floor. Worked well with our tight schedule. Dealt well with an unanticipated complication. Did an excellent job. Professional and efficient. A little messy at the end but promptly returned to finish tidying up

I think they did a great job

Kodiak Construction installed a 10 X 12 patio in the back yard. They did an excellent job and it looks great. They kept to the schedule and also cleaned up after they were all done. All the workers were very courteous and professional.
