They hung drywall on ceiling, textured it and painted. We liked the walls after they had finished and wanted them to do the ceiling in the garage.

Dave Kenney responded quickly to our request for a quote. He came to our house where we were able to go over all of the options and details of the project. His experience on such projects was quickly apparent. We received the written quote via email in less than 24 hours. By agreement, we rounded up most of the fixtures and hardware ourselves, which gave us the opportunity to pick out exactly what we wanted. When the day came to start the project (and every day thereafter), Dave and his son showed up right on the dot. His son proved to be quite adept at nearly every aspect of the job. As a team, they got things going very quickly. We were amazed at how thoroughly they cleaned the place up at the end of each work day. For the entire duration of the project, that bathroom was the tidiest room in the house. When the custom tile work began, Dave proved to know his craft well, and his son was already doing a very professional job of it himself. We couldn't help but take note of the attention to detail that they both demonstrated. The tiles weren't just slapped up randomly. Since each piece of porcelain tile was different, they carefully balanced the color, patterns, and grain to give the most appealing appearance. They did the same for every piece of trim, both on the shower and on the floor. To our delight they finished the job ahead of schedule. When we requested a couple of minor follow-up tweaks and adjustments in the days that followed, they showed up the same day and took care of them at no extra charge. It's possible we could have done better, but we really can't imagine how. When our next project comes along we'll save time by not having to shop around. We'll just call Kenney Construction.

I bought the deal from Angile's list for a free in home consultation for a bathroom remodeling. Mr. Kenny promptly responded to my request and accommodated a time that fit my schedule. He came and spend time to understand my need and answer all questions. I needed him to provide me a quote for addition of shower to a half bathroom. He provided me all possible option and within an hour sent me the quote to me by e-mail. He also provided me quote for other work we wanted in our Laundry room and other full bathroom. He was very punctual, professional and courteous. Unfortunately the quoted price was lot higher than our expectation, so currently we have postponed the job.

Dave Kenney is very efficient. He kept to the same daily schedule and had a clear plan of how the job would progress. He predicted on the first day that it would be completed in a month, and he was right. This project was unique as the house construction is concrete brick and required some unique modifications to meet desired remodel goal as well as to stay within 'code'. A real plus was that he worked only with his son, Alon, no subs were used except for the very capable Ray Fernandez of Countertop Connection (Pacheco, CA). With the exception of the counter tops, Dave and his son were qualified and adept at managing all requirements of the job including electrical, plumbing, tile installation and more. Sorting out the daily challenges of how to accomplish these tasks in a house with many concrete bearing walls required some expertise and creativeness. A work space was set up at the beginning, and was kept neat and tidy at all times. Accumulated work debris was cleared and cleaned up at the end of each day. We are pleased that all went so well and that we can wholeheartedly recommend Kenney Construction!

They came on time even though it was the coldest time of the year.

Mr. Kenney and son arrived on time at 8 AM. He walked through all the work that was to be done and identified all the parts to be used. He gave us a ball park of how long it would take and an estimate. They then set about doing all the work and got it done in the allotted time. We have no complaints about the work.

Father changed mind about remodel.

Kenney Construction was wonderful. Shortly after I purchased the deal, Dave contacted me via Angie's List to schedule and called a few days later to confirm. The day of the appointment, Dave and his assistant arrived on time, assessed the location where I wanted the light installed and took inventory of the parts needed. They ran to the local hardware store and once returned, got straight to work. When finished, they explained the features on the fixture and how to make adjustments if needed. The installation looks great and the light works perfectly. This was a small job for them and I was really impressed with their professionalism and respect for my home. I also asked Dave to look inside my home for additional remodeling I want to do in the future. He listened carefully to what I wanted to do with our kitchen, looked into the attic to verify a load bearing wall and gave suggestions. Afterwards, he followed up with some referrals for other trades needed. When I'm ready to do more work at my home, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Dave again.

There was nothing to dislike about this company. They did a really good job.

I had a small bar sink and cabinets that were useless to me. I needed more storage space. I called a few companies for bids. Found Kenney Construction on Angie's list and I'm glad I did. Dave Kenney was clear as to what he would do and stuck to the price, which was the best of all the bids I received. He always arrived on time and cleaned up incredibly after each day of work. The finished closet was, by far, more than I had expected. It's beautiful. I have several more projects and will be hiring Dave to do the work.

They did a terrible job. They took off the metal and door stopper and didn't replace them, just put a thin, cheap weather stripping on side of the doors. Afterwards it looked worse and more air coming through the doors. We had to pay and get someone else to re-do the doors, so it cost us twice what it should not have cost.

They were on time and went right to work. The did a beautiful job, looks better than new. Let me know what costs were involved and stuck to it. Nice, professional guys.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I didn't spend any additional money. He did what I expected him to do. He was pleasant. I don't know if he was exceptional but I definitely didn't have any complaints. I don't know what their normal prices are. I would use them again.

Great. They were nice. The job took a little longer than expected so I had to pay extra. This was a special deal for only a couple hours.

Dealing with David was a real joy. He was prompt to return calls and to set up the appointment. He was prompt and prepared to do the job and went over what it entailed with me so I would understand the repairs. We have greyhounds and he was as careful with them as I would be myself. The repairs were performed very well and the areas were left clean. I would definitely use him again.

He wanted to come early in the morning which was fine with me. However, I did tell him I would be coming from work and so I wasn't here exactly at 8:15. He was a little rude to my sitter when she answered the door. So that on top of not bringing a ladder made my decision for me. I did not want to hire him.

Felt Dave Kenney was listening to us when we said we had a budget. Has given us some leads on cabininet makers which we are working on now. As of this printing we are planning to use him as our contractor when the time comes.

I like his character, I thought he was nice man. He came out when he said he was gonna come out and he was really honest about what he's to do. I didn't go with him but I liked him. The price he quotes was reasonable.

Great communication scheduling the work.Got me in really soon. He had me send him a picture of the old faucets and then he could tell me exactly what to go buy before he came. The estimate was that it would take two hours and that's exactly the time it took. They cleaned up perfectly after the work was done. Love my new faucets.
