Gil's Carpets

Iused Gil a few years ago for my hardwood floors and when it came time to carpet the upstairs I would not even think about using anyone else. Gil's Hardwood operates the way businesses did way back when, you know when customers mattered, phones were answered by humans, service given with a smile and work done to perfection...the first time. Gil and his crew are highly professional, know their business and give 125%. These guys worked in the most extreme weather conditions to get the job done and somehow managed to keep a smile on their faces. They worked almost 12 hours...barely stopping to get the job done. I am in awe of their dedication, commitment and the fabulous job they did on my carpet install. This is not a fly by night business having "blow out sales" every week, nor a "big box" store that will not stand behind the product once installed, but a locally owned company that has been in business for many years in an out of the way location. You will not be disappointed!

All went very well. The installer's did a great job and were very hard workers. The work was professionally done. Clean up was nearly perfect. The work was done in 3 days. the price was also very competitive. Overall the experience was very good and I would use them for my flooring again.

I wish Angie's lust had an A+ option! We couldn't be happier. The team that came to grind down and float a very poorly done transition between original and addition structure was excellent , friendly and clean. They took the time to explain what they found after removing old flooring and did a wonderful job evening out the floor. I did not interact with the carpet installers, but when I got home from work, the carpet was installed and beautiful, and my house was clean. We've been really enjoying our room since and we would certainly recommend them to anyone else.

As good as it gets ! First off Gil and Stephanie were extremely helpful in the decision process and never steered me to higher priced options. Gil was always prompt for appointments and was present during the installation. His team of installers was outstanding,prompt, respectful, neat and highly skilled. They are employed by Gil and all spoke English, which really helps when you need to communicate. I had other companies out to bid the job and they all wanted to install the flooring like you do laminate...floating the wood. If you have ever had floated flooring you will find that it has a hollow sound and creates echoes in the room. But, Gil insisted we glue down the wood, a more expensive and time consuming method. Boy was he right! My floors look and more importantly sound fabulous. The price for doing it the Right way was competitive with other companies who wanted to do a lesser install. Hardwood flooring is a one time big investment, I highly suggest reading reviews here and check the BBB and then giving Gil a call...you will not be disappointed.

They were very good. They were fast, neat and everything was cleaned up nice, and the tile still looks great.
